Le Gull: OKAY... I see you are looking for a thread to survive. The link is available and you can go and search the entire site from page 1 to 12 and you will not see Remi Tinubu's name.

In your pathetic attempt at fraud you just provided a fraction of the page with Tinubu at the top and the link address being redundant.
Fraudulent lair? You mean you can not show us the full page. Her name is right there and it's at number 7 counting from the bottom of the page you crooked and deceptive liar.

Shebi you know how to post screen so how come all of a sudden you can not show us the full page?

Too many crooks around here I tell you...lmao.

Le Gull: none what so ever...

You guys suggested I get to page 8 to which I did.

I crossed checked it with ctrl + f on my google chrome bar and the result was zilch.

By the way if i see you are posting from a regular computer, if you dont have snipping tool you can always use the Printscreen button, open paint and click paste.
Why are you posting just half page?

You posted half of the page, please post the other half of the page showing the last 7 names and bills on the same page you posted.
Politics › Re: Remi Tinubu Faces Senate Panel Over Comments Made In An Interview by aresa: 5:23pm On Jun 28, 2014

Politics › Re: Remi Tinubu Faces Senate Panel Over Comments Made In An Interview by aresa: 5:15pm On Jun 28, 2014
Le Gull: gimme a damn link. not some screen capped b.s.

Le Gull: I provided you the damn link and I went through it myself.

Post the actual page link addresses and I will withdraw my condemnation of her as a bench warmer.
I told to go to the bottom of your own page and click next to page 8. How hard is this for you to do? Are you scared to click on your own link? Anyway, here is the screen caption so delete your lies.

Mogidi: Hmmm!! coming from someone defending Remi's ability as a senator.
What is wrong with her ability as a senator? Is she not better than the rest of the senate? The she not do more for her constituency than even the senate president who did nothing for his village? His village looks like a stone age village.

We can compare her achievements with any senator in Nigeria even with the senate president. I can even prove to you that she achieved more than all of them combined.

Are you ready?
Politics › Re: Remi Tinubu Faces Senate Panel Over Comments Made In An Interview by aresa: 4:31pm On Jun 28, 2014
whitecat007: First of all, contary to your lies, Remi Tinubu proposed the following bills
1. National social security agency in 2011
2. Amendment of the labor act CAP LI LFN 2004.
3. Lagos state special economic assistance 2013.

You are a lair here.

Second of all only 27 senator out of 109 or so who are pdp with presidency on speed dial are getting through no matter how useless the bill was. In a nutshell Remi Tinubu has put forward more bills in 3 yrs than most in the senate. You also did a poor job of listing what should have been a single bill into 3, attempt by senators to look busy.

Bottom line, opposition bills are stalled, and pdp senators are splitting one bill into 5 to waste our time.

Your credibility is damaged beyond repair, next time think before you type.
It's very obvious that they don't know anything. Most of the posters in this thread are guided by hate, bigotry, tribalism and ignorance.
Politics › Re: Remi Tinubu Faces Senate Panel Over Comments Made In An Interview by aresa: 4:28pm On Jun 28, 2014
Le Gull: her ogaism begins and ends with her husband and not the people she represents.

FYI I am the biggest man I know.

Remi Tinubu is best suited as a Market women leader. Her husband would have made her the iyaloja instead than allow her to make a mockery of her useless self.
And this is all the gutter trash you have to share on the internet?

I know NL is full of dead weights and and trashy posters, but I debate credible people and issues, I don't debate trash and people like you.
Politics › Re: Remi Tinubu Faces Senate Panel Over Comments Made In An Interview by aresa: 4:22pm On Jun 28, 2014
Le Dove: seriously I have searched the whole website http://www.placng.org/new/senate-bills-charts.php and used ctrl +f and entered Remi Tinubu's name and guess what it cam back with zilch.

So I am not going to spam this forum with NASS publication. for more inquiries go to the site link above.

What you posted was from the first page even though it has 12 pages. Laziness, hate, deception or lies shouldn't prevent you from hitting NEXT at the bottom of your link to page 8 where it detailed Remi Tinubu's bill.

Sometime I wonder about you people..
Politics › Re: Remi Tinubu Faces Senate Panel Over Comments Made In An Interview by aresa: 4:08pm On Jun 28, 2014
Le Dove: Remi Tinubu in her arrogating scandalous rumor mongering manner forgot the convenient fact that the highest alter of debate (no matter how frivolous) remains within the floors of the senate.

As a Senator she is expected to debate and argue her cause among her peers. She can also pass any comment she feels on the leadership style of the house on the same floor for her fellow senators to deliberate on.

Freedom of speech comes with a high level of responsibility. We are expected to appoint those among us with sound minds and moral convictions whose pronouncement on our behalf will be taken seriously by the house.

For Mrs Tinubu to make a lone comment for her close to 4 years in the Senate on the pages of the newspaper with no substantive proof is another pointer that she is just an appendage of her husband's politicking in the house.

In conclusion, I will prefer a redundant housewife claiming to be a senator than any despot but that won't stop me from supporting her trash.
The fact that you think you have no rights and Oga Sir or Oga at the Top syndrome is your way of life doesn't mean it should be the same or applies to every Nigerian.

With all the billions you spend on the senate every year, what laws have they passed on your behalf that bettered your life? Please tell us.

We are in this very sad situation as a Nation because you've passed away and discounted your rights as people to speak up or question your leaders. This is why they loot you dry everyday and still say oga sir, honorable sir.

Remi Tinubu is more productive than the rest of that useless and worthless senate, she's more productive than all of them and she did more for her constituency than the rest of the senate, even that the senate leader who's constituency still looks like a stone age village.
Politics › Re: Remi Tinubu Faces Senate Panel Over Comments Made In An Interview by aresa: 2:19pm On Jun 28, 2014
Le Dove: As a Senator your utterances must be guarded. Remi can not be part of a house and also try to pull it down.

The Senate is the highest alter of discussion. Rather than rant away to her husband's rag sheet editors why did she not raise the issue on the floor of the Senate.

AS A SENATOR SHE IS GUARANTEED MORE FREE SPEECH THAN MOST BASED ON THE FACT THAT SHE REPRESENTS A FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY AND THE FLOOR IS EVER OPEN FOR HER CONTRIBUTIONS AND SUBMISSIONS.

It is either she is not aware of this golden forum of free expression at her beck an d call or she is either to timid and brain dead to go about her functions and duties as a Senator of the Federal Republic.
The fact that she's a senator doesn't take away her rights.

You are not a sheep so stop acting like a sheep and your leaders are not God. Like I said, it is not by force to practice democracy. Go back to dictatorship.
Politics › Re: Remi Tinubu Faces Senate Panel Over Comments Made In An Interview by aresa: 1:57pm On Jun 28, 2014
It's quiet unfortunate that the people representing Nigerians as legislators and protectors of democracy are not only very clueless, they are dangerously and poorly exposed when it comes to democracy.

Democracy means you have freedom of speech, it means the opposition using every available platform including the media to highlight their differences and objections when it comes to the other side. The people you borrowed democracy from have tons of news media and political shows all day long and on Sundays where politicians go to trash the other side and even lambaste their president and call him names.

Democracy is not by force. Go back to dictatorship and quit pretending that Nigeria is a democracy.

He lied because the senseless and misguided thug played out the shameful script given to him by his PDP handlers to disgrace the governor or just because he said so ?

Politics › Re: Obiano Flags-Off Construction of Three Fly-Overs And Three Arms Zone in Awka by aresa: 8:21pm On Jun 27, 2014
bestview: Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra, has flagged off the construction of an ultra-modern complex to host the three arms of government, on a choice piece of land in Agu Awka, measuring 830 hectares.

Turning the sod at the construction as one of the legacy projects earmarked to signal the commencement of a fresh set of projects to mark his first 100 days in office, Governor Obiano assured that the complex would be completed in one year.

Located on a magnificent stretch of land with a commanding view of the sprawling plain, the complex nestles in the Greenwood Estate of the Awka Capital Territory.

Sizing up the real estate, Obiano directed that no tree located in the area should be felled by the construction company handling the building of the complex unless it was absolutely necessary.

The governor also ruled against indiscriminate bush burning and any other untoward practices that would affect the picturesque topography of the place and its serene surrounding.

According to him, the government would take serious actions against anyone who indulged in practices that would discourage private developers from moving into the surrounding areas of the locality.

Speaking on the project, the Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Lawrence Chinwuba, said the project was the first of its kind in the state and would be delivered on schedule.

According to him, the project, especially the Three Arms Zone, namely the Government House, the Governor’s Lodge, the Banquet Hall and the House of Assembly, would be sponsored by the government, but because of the massive nature of the project, investors were invited to participate in developing the greater part of the estate.

Said he: “It is a public-private partnership initiative, so it will involve other investors to be able to deliver on the big picture.”

Similarly, Obiano has also flagged off the construction of three fly-overs between the Amawbia and Arroma end of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, a distance of about three kilometres within the Awka capital city.

The fly-overs, which will be constructed at Amawbia Junction, Kwata Junction and Arroma Junction, within the stretch, are estimated to cost the state N5billion.

Speaking on the projects, Governor Obiano revealed that the three projects which were awarded to an indigenous company, IDC Construction Limited, had a completion date of a year and were in fulfillment of his promise during the campaigns to transform Awka into a befitting capital of Anambra State, which would be comparable to any other capital in the advanced countries of the world.

The governor expressed confidence that with his commitment to transform Awka, it would be the envy of other states in Nigeria, adding that the Awka Capital Development Authority was carrying out a comprehensive master-plan of Awka that would make it one of the best cities in Africa.

He also revealed that his administration was building a massive shopping complex, a five -star hotel and 5,000-capacity modern conference centre in Awka to shore up the status of the city.

“We want a capital city everybody will be proud of. Every road we construct must have street lights. I want the cooperation of the Awka people. Please, don’t disturb the contractors and their workers. Allow them free hand to do their job. All of us will benefit from the projects when completed,” he said.

The state Commissioner for Works, Hon. Callistus Ilozumba, who also spoke at the flag-off ceremony, said the projects would be completed on schedule and assured that the state government, would pay the contractor as and when due, adding that the project would change the entire skyline of Awka and its environs.

He also revealed that the state government had awarded the reconstruction of Amawbia to Amansea section of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway at a cost of N9 billion

Chief Victor Umeh, APGA national chairman, who also spoke, used the occasion to enjoin members of Anambra State House of Assembly, who were not elected on APGA platform, to join hands with the state government to enable better development of the state.

Umeh used the occasion to wave the olive branch to party members, saying he had no malice against anybody. He reiterated his commitment to ensure that APGA wins all the seats in Anambra State and other states in the 2015 general elections, adding that the unity of the party was paramount in his administration of the party.

zomby: Here comes the youngster!
There is nothing foolish than responding without first understanding what you're responding to.

1. There is no one here calling Fayose a criminal (facing charges against you in the court of law is completely different from being called a criminal)
2. Do we all understand what it means when a governor is impeached?
3. If you pay attention it wouldn't take you too long to realize that Fayose is not to be blamed, and in fact, I'm not targeting Fayose. What is on ground is much bigger than Fayose.

My focus is not on politics, or insulting anyone...I'm focusing more on 3 things (A. our inept leadership style in Nigeria B. our subnormal system, and C. what the people of Nigeria are mostly made of)

I can careless about PDP, APC or Fayemi.
Your sense of reasoning, the dangerous implications and what you are driving at is unfortunately too sane and honest for many on NL to understand either because of their own political or tribal considerations.
It is only in Nigeria you see impeached public official contest and win elections

It is only in Nigeria you see the president appoint public officials under investigation for corruption

It is only in Nigeria you see corrupt tax payers funded security agents escort and protect corrupt officials under investigation by the same security agents.

This is abnormal in sane and civilized societies, but this is our normal in Nigeria, we didn't get to this sad and deplorable level for no reason.

He's bemoaning the choice of Ekiti people for electing Fayose, but forgot Lagosians voted in Tinubu twice, inspite of being indicted over drugs and money laundry in America. Tinubu was convicted but Fayose has not be convicted by any competent court of law.
Convicted by you on NL I guess.
