arilewo:My wife was at the NIS Ado-Ekiti office, she was told that the passports have been sent to the printer and that it must have got stocked during the process. No specific solution has been provided as at the last conversation.

ekitimanalways:Thank you ekitimanalways. I will keep you updated |
My wife and children did passport renewal (DIY) biometrics capturing on May 28, 2024 at the Ado-Ekiti office of the NIS. The earlier passports are expiring at the end of this month. I have been tracking it online, but passport Issued (passport pending production) has not been checked marked ever since. Production (passport production is in progress) has been checked marked. Any idea of what could be wrong?

It is very impressive. If the debts burden can be reduced to a sustainable level, Nigeria will definitely be great again. |
Austinn316:It requires an affidavit that has QR image on the document. The affidavit being done in Abuja high court online works. |
You don't need a PGDE, you will only need to attach your NCE together with your degree. The transcripts will capture your NCE as mode of admission, you need your NCE transcript as well. Flourish98: |
Maryeama:If your details is included in the I-140 form that your husband submitted to the USCIS, you don’t have an issue. It will now depend on your husband selection for the form 1-485 (GC application) on the form I-140. He can do either consular processing or adjustment of status. If your details and that of your daughter was added to the form I-140 and he selected that you will be doing consular processing, it implies that your details will be transferred to NVC, your husband can join you both for consular processing in Lagos. If he didn’t select consular processing for himself, he will need to file form I-824 to transfer his visa to NVC (consular processing). If he chose to do adjustment of status in USA, he will have to get his green card before the consular in Nigeria will invite you and your daughter for interview. If he selected adjustment of status for both of you ( you and your daughter), he will need to file form I-824 to transfer your visa from USCIS to NVC, the form can only be approved after your husband has gotten his Green card. |
I will advise you to choose the Florida school since you are asthmatic, Florida has a Nigerian kind of hot weather as against UNL Nebraska that is very cold. Go to the website of chemistry department, go and look for emails of Nigerian students (graduate students) or make use of LinkedIn, search for the name of the school, put Nigerians in front of it. Nigerian students schooling there will pops up. We have a lot of Nigerians in the school especially in chemistry department. Florida is a very good state, you will enjoy it TenaciousOrphan: |
RIP to the world greatest footballer. |
A zoo indeed, you have a gun and all you just do is to shoot people at will. Stupid uniform men all over the place. |
I will advise you to pursue a master of art (MA) degree in English compared to MEd. You are more an English Expert with MA than an English Educator with M.Ed. This comes with wider job opportunities rather than the MEd degree. Lasisieniola77:I was in your shoe at the time but focussed on Chemistry, ditching the Education path after my Undergraduate. |
How can they set up such a committee without Ex Super Falcons player? Why are we so egocentric? |

The Nigeria Army is a bunch of liars, while will anyone takes such an institution serious. |
Kwara State University was funded by the 16 LGAs in Kwara State, monthly deductions were made from the LGA allocation to run KWASU. Why must it be Olusola Saraki University? Government lands converted for personal use, the Governor is a true son of Ilorin and Kwara as a whole, why must government property be converted to your personal property. The Governor has only done the right and sensible thing to reclaim what belongs to the people of Kwara. |
Useless set of Nigerians doing foolish and devilish things to make money, soon they will be shouting leaders. There are alot of animals who are not worthy of living among the people, imagine what a fellow Nigerian is selling to the public! Human life means nothing to them, all they care about is money! If that is the way the Western world think, are we going to have a place to be running to. This change in Nigeria has to start with individual, it begins with me and you. This should be on the front page. |
Ride on the people's Governor |
Osun was part of Old Oyo when LAUTECH was established, whatever assets and liabilities both states have would have been shared accordingly. They both opted for joint ownership of LAUTECH and if any of the parties is not interested, you will have to negotiate. Are you guys not aware of Ondo State University Ado-Ekiti (OSUA), there was a pay off arrangement between Ekiti State and Ondo State in which Ekiti had to negotiate with Ondo State, it was after that the birth of Ondo State University OSUA (Now Adekunle Ajasin University) Akungba Akoko came up. OlujobaSamuel: |
A lot of people comments on what they know nothing about or use sentiments in passing judgement. First and foremost, I see no reason why LAUTECH cannot supplement its funds. This is what is being done in most of all the States University (KWASU, AAU, UNIOSUN, OOU, EKSU etc) in Nigeria. There must be accountability and transparency in LAUTECH, I don't know why ASUU, NAAT, NASU and SSANU is not cooperating with both Governments. There is a laid down procedure of how Oyo State can take over LAUTECH, which it is what is normally done during States creation. Pay off Osun States (N.B Osun would have automatically inherited parts of the debts in old Oyo State, assets and liability are always split between the new and the old state) and take over the University if you want to. They should negotiate with Osun, take over your school and do whatever you want to do with it. |
Nigerians should stop complaining. We can't be throwing the teeming youth population into unemployment because of the few businessmen. The Governors should take advantage of this scarcity to engage our youths in farming. Let us raise millionaires that are farmers, let us use homegrown food to solve unemployment, to banish poverty and be a food exporting nation. The Governors should group the Youths into cooperatives, tractors, land, seedlings and other farming materials should be made available to the cooperatives. The farm produce should be bought back by the government while its resale to the public. |
God bless those Nigerians tracking constituency projects. The bulk of our politicians are rogues, thieves and are supposed to rot in prison in a sane society. Do keep exposing them |
This is to tell you the typical black's behaviour, the problem is not with our government. We are greedy as a race and we don't like ourselves, imagine a trader collapsed in the market and no one came to her rescue until a buyer came. There is a lot wrong with the black race. |
A nice one |
A backward nation, other countries don't visit embassies or consular for renewal of passports. Even, common Ghana you will do everything online and they will mail it to you@ the comfort of your house. I don't know why we are like this in Nigeria. Imagine, you have to travel to the consular in any of Atlanta, New York and Washington to renew your passport. It is high level craziness. |
[quote author=successmatters post=76828234]It is a heterogeneous state. Yoruba in Southern senatorial, Yoruba and Fulani in Kwara Central Senatorial District and Yoruba, Batonu and Nupe in Kwara North Senatorial District. 12 LGAs out of 16 are basically Yoruba dominated LGAs |
2 NIGERIAN CITIZENS LOST, RIP |
He is a gonna, his reign over Kwarans was terrible. |
Congratulations to authentic Governor elect. |
