I didnt curse you, na question i asked. Me I'm here looking for $1000 USD. I chatted someone, precisely millixchange and said he'll sell for 630. It looks suspicious and i did a little digging. Turns out someone ardeks called him a scam and he didnt dispute it so i decided to pull the plug. Only for someone to coman say I'm a scam. First impression is it could have been him going on a defensive.

Please, do your due diligence next time before you put people on a very weighty allegation that can damage their business. Google aristosoft, they've never used the name and scam in the same sentence. I cant take it any likely and I wont stop either until you or Nairaland bring down that message.

Sunderland gave me CAS 2 days after i met all requirements:
1. Paid deposit
2. Visa Preparation Questionnaire
3. POF
4. Bank reference letter
5. They will send you Conviction Declaration form (which you will fill and email)

Also, always follow up with calls (That one go chop your money wella. I don sit down on call for 1 hour before). The people on phone always seem to know exactly where you are and what to do to move to the next item.

Lots of things do arise. I'm just curious to know a real scenario that led to border officers telling someone to log into their mobile app. I know someone sent back after they checked his whatsApp messages and saw his conversations on how he got visa and others. Cos in reality, you don't want to leave large sums lying fallow for so long especially this one that NGN depreciates very fast.

those already planning to travel to the uk, try as much as possible to secure accommodation before you leave 9ja especially when u dont have anybody to stay with because na only know wetin my eyes don see since on thursday when i take enter plymouth. then at the point entry make sure u have ur necessary documents with you ranging from admission letter to brp letter, then be ready to log on to mobile app to show ur pof when you are asked to thereby avoiding leg shaking.

you may never know what the border official may ask you to provide.

My candid advice from experience. Understand their terms as much as possible and ensure you meet their requirements. As long as you haven't got any rejection email from them, any of them can still pop-up with an offer. I applied to more than 10 universities, only the ones that sent a rejection email and a few never gave me an offer as long as you meet the requirements. It won't be too optimistic for me to say you should sort all other requirements and get them ready, the offers will come flooding eventually.

JANUARY 2023 INTAKE: HELP

I started applying for January 2023 intake since July into UK Universities and Between July and today (September 8, 2022), I've applied to 9 UK Universities namely Northumbria, Bournemouth, Derby, Northampton, Anglia Ruskin, Strathclyde, Hudderfield, Essex and Hertfordshire. Only 1 (Anglia Ruskin) has rejected my application. Others are yet to reply.

Brethren and Sisters on NL with experience, kindly suggest UK Unis with January 2023 intake that offers admission FASTER and those that won't require POF for CAS so I can apply to them. If they respond fast, I'm praying I can pay tuition with Form A before the possible deadline of Dec. Please help. DON'T IGNORE ME!


NOTE: I am looking out for Psychology courses, Education leadership courses, and the likes of 1 year course. Something to take advantage of the Occupation shortage list.

Never mind. I found it eventually. I think it has a threshold. Once the booking pass 1m, they dont allow you to book on hold. I'm booking for 3 so i didnt see it until i tried 1 person.

Do not agree as the booking would have expired by now. As long as your funds entered before expiry you can get your ticket. Also start looking for who can go to their Lagos office … but u cnt relent with calling that number

You need to upload both POF (Statement of Account) and Bank reference letter (except if your account is older than 6 months) before they will give you CAS.

NSF for MA : 17th of June ( For study gap documents which I sent on the 21st of June

Paid mail for MA on the 28th of June, Collection mail for MA same day.

Several Paid mails and calls for dependants : awaiting decision( I literally got tired of these)

Paid Call for all dependants: 8th of July ( Decision has been made ) Ope o��

Transferred and received by VAC : 15th of July

Collection Mail : 15th of July

Ok, Back to the main gist ;

I submitted a proof of Fund from 1st of May to 30th of May.. (30 days pof)

On the 3rd of June , Someone here said she was refused because she Applied and paid both Visa and IHS 5 days to her POF maturity of 28th days .. when i saw it, I was devastated because I applied on the 17th of May, Paid both Visa and IHS same day...but printed from 1st to 30th of May which means I only held it for 17 days .. MOGBE!!!��‍♀️�‍♀️

I became so worried , but Thank God for God , @duchee90 and @Mosinmiloluwa that came through for Me and gave me hope for NSF .

Kindly note, My pof has been in my account since March, Paid my full tuition fees in April ... submitted my pof for cas ... from March 30th to 27th of April ( Cas was given on the 12th of May)

Hence , NSF became my everyday prayer cos I really needed it to print another POF for them .. infact I've informed my account officer I'm coming to the bank very soon .

When I got the first NSF for my 10 years study Gap , I kept on praying for the second one so I can send the POF to them .. but it's didn't come . On the 28th of May I made a paid mail and I was told decision has Been made and Collection mail dropped! How ? Why ? Without NSF for the POF ? That was when I realised what my school told me then that they are sending my documents with my POF and Bank Reference letter to UKVI for my CAS , so it has to be up to date .

Documents submitted : Passport,POF, Degree Certificate,Transcript, Neco Certificate, Change of Name , Marriage certificate , TB Certificate, IHS and Visa evidence of payment, Cas file ,checklist , Visa Application form ..(Infact I uploaded enough documents for them )

Dependants: hubby - his POF , Marriage Certificate, Biodata page, family pictures in a file , TB Certificate

For the kids: Hubby POF, Consent form signed by both Parents, biodata page, birth Certificate, TB Certificate.


I declared 2 Canada study visa refusal 2015 & 2016
1 UK Visiting visa 2021 December.

The kids also declared UK Visitor visa refusal ..

It was Only Hubby that was given the Visitor Visa and He Spent just 2 weeks

All declared !!


I'm just so happy seeing our passports with visa stamped in it ...

Hello everyone. I'm really in need of an advice for a friend. He got married in 2017 (Traditional and Church) but did his Registry marriage in April this year. He is about applying for visa using his wife a a dependent, Now the dilemma is:
1. Should he claim all three marriages? and which date of marriage will he use, 2017 or 2022
2. Should he just use the date of registry marriage April 2022? The worry is that UKVI might query that it was rushed because of the visa application
3. Or just go ahead with the Church (though not registered with interior ministry or marriage registry)

Of course they had a kid within that period too.

I have a long study gap well covered by work experience and also converting to a new field (for which i had experience).
Does it seem they are really finding it hard to decide? It's over a month now.
