The problem is very simple. The guy lost at the primaries. These are the people that picked Audu ahead of him. He was at their mercy then, now they seem to be at his. I think he should just play maturedly and know politics is about interest. APC's cracks will give way for PDP, ask Gbenga Daniel and Ogun PDP (2011) and Alao-Akala too.
They should just sheath their swords and move the state forward. |

1. Know your worth. What amount of influence or worth are you to the company. 2. Know your boss temperament. Does he really mean what he says or it's just out of frustration? Every boss (just like clients) have their own shortcomings. 3. If it's your company and a client treats you that way, will you let go of him/her? 4. Are the gains you get from the company more than the down side? 5. Nothing good comes without it's challenges. Most people who will tell you to resign might not have been in such situation before. Listen more to those who had similar experience. 6. Plan B or Not, you have your answer. |

Thats what we get when we value Nepotism over Meritocracy. Are we saying we don't have correct programmers who can ensure a hitch-free CBT exams? Nigeria is growing very fast, influenced by western ways but not developing.
Is doing CBT that complex? If i were Minister for Education, I will just relieve ALL the board directors of their job after making sure they document their side of the failure but sentiments won't make us do the right thing.
This is national disgrace. I will suggest a PPT retake for everyone this year for credibility sake but at JAMB's expenses while we prepare for CBT next year. |

Sports › Re: Mikel Shines: Do You Think Mourinho Would Have Allowed Mikel To Play UCL? by aristosoft(m): 6:40pm On Feb 22, 2016 |
TheSuperNerd: In all of these, Mikel has still scored 6 goals for Chelsea since the 2006/07 season as A DMF.
HOW MANY DID MAKALELE SCORE FOR CHELSEA?? 20?? 10??
One more question, how many goals have Mascherano scored for FC Barcelona as a DMF/Defender?. And pls, does his little or NO RETURN make him inferior?
Leave Mikel alone..... He got no inferiority complex. Every trophy he won at Chelsea, he was a major player in them..... 2009/2010 Epl title, 2012 UCL title, 2013 Europa league title, ALL FOUR F.A cup titles, and much more......
Nigeria conquered Africa because Mikel stood up to the Best Africa had to offer in midfield from Yaya toure to seydou keita even to Alain Traore. Mikel bossed Yaya when Chelsea narrowly lost via the "away goals rule" in 2010/2011 UCL semi-finals. And bossed Yaya again when Nigeria overcame Ivory Coast @Afcon 2013.
Mikel bossed the Spanish midfielders @Fifa confederations cup 2013. And literally tore the Uruguayans apart. Inexperience and absence of other key players like Onazi (mikel's trusted midfield partner), Victor Moses, and Emenike (then on fire.... Seems he's discovered himself again for west ham) affected The Super Eagles @Fifa confed cup 2013.
Life itself is a risk.... No risks, no rewards..... Mikel may be short of true greatness because he may never live up to his fullest soccer potentials which we all saw @Fifa U-20 2005 BUT HE'S DONE ENOUGH IN THE PATH HE CHOSE AND WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS ONE OF AFRICA'S TOP 5 MOST DECORATED PLAYERS OF ALL TIME.......
Others in Mikel's elite club from Africa are Samuel Eto'o fils, Nwankwo Kanu, Didier Drogba, and even Seydou Keita.....
We can keep playing the game of "what ifs"..... What if he went to man utd? What if he never met mourinho? What if, what if what if
But Mikel's place is already among legends...... He's led Nigeria to a major continental title.
Messi is yet to do same for Argentina despite all his achievements and for me, messi is the best in this generation and arguably the best in history.... Maybe second only to the king Pele...(Edson arantes dos nascimento)
So this and many more is why I maintain that even in the far reaches of saturn or our galaxy or any other galaxy..... Mikel does not suffer any form of inferiority complex.
He may never fulfill his highest potentials which is so sad but he still remains "a midfield boss".....
Even the catalan greats, Xavi, iniesta and busquets agree to this after what they witnessed at his hands during the Fifa confederations cup 2013. Mikel never lived up to his potentials partly because he never took risk under Mourinho. I think he 'fears' Mourinho too much. All other Chelsea coach used him very well except Mourinho. However, it will be ridiculous to mention Mikel in the region of greats like Kanu, Okocha, Etoo, Drogba, Seydou Keita, Yaya Toure or world-class midfielders like Xavi, Busquet, Makelele, Pirlo, Vieira, etc. He's good but never lived up to his potentials. Those guys are REGULAR FIRST TEAM PLAYERS with Winning Team. They were not onlookers when it mattered. They weren't intimidated out of their games. |

searchiing4love: [b]Kanu foolishly led himself into an avoidable problem. He is like a lamb cheered by goats(ipob youths) to take on a pack of hyenas(FG) Going by his unkempt and frustrated looks in court recently, am sure he wish he could turn back the hands of time but its too late. He enjoyed the fraudulent fame while it lasted. He wanted to be a rebel leader. A rebel leader with no military background. Which sane rebel leader will go as far as soliciting for weapons on a recorded event? His mistakes are enormous and there are better ways he could have fought his battles without spreading hate and implicating himself. Kanu is just a buttie boy overfed with the comfort of london and that pushed him to run his mouth like a tap on biafra radio. He looked like a chicken in the rain in court and was even described as standing in court without uttering a word. Am sure the Dss treatment is gradually restoring his brain to factory settings. Before the previous Biafra war, Ojukwu had a template of what biafra would look like and even presented his demands through the aburi accord in Ghana. He had military experience and a PlanB if the aburi accord was rejected. Despite this, Ojukwu regretted leading his people to a bloody massacre and has since called for a United Nigeria. Kanu's approach was to brainwash innocent youths, spread hate and bile and even instigate war on other non igbo tribes. No concrete reason why they want Biafra other than the Yorubas and Hausas hate us so we have to go. Comparing Kanu to Ojukwu is an insult in all ramifications. Kanu's predicament will never end soon. He will pay for all those hate speeches and instigating wars against peaceful Nigerians. Where are the bombs he threatened to use on Radio biafra? Where are the jet fighters? Where are Ipob soldiers he promised to unleash on the zoo? Pride goes before a fall. Kanu has fallen and all the igbo youths can do is protest. with time everyone will forget him in jail and move on with their lives. I hope uchemefor is learning from this before he finds himself in the same fate.
God bless Nigeria.

That is the average thinking of an Ijaw and Niger Deltan. We see election as a contest and not a war. We want development and not a theatre to brew hate. I recall during the Bayelsa election when some outsiders were abusing some Bayelsans that were supporting Sylva of APC, I rebuked them by saying that both men are Ijaws from Bayelsa and they need support of whoever gives them though I was backing Dickson.
I am happy that Tompolo has shown maturity though he has a case that he must answer sha. the conditions being attached are not acceptable.
