Gazzy88: Kuku asks Darudapo not to do anything na as per say you're his fellow remo man. I can't imagine someone comparing Amosun, in spite of his shortcomings, with this accidental governor in Ogun state. If you're so sincere with yourselves, you and your fellow co-travelers, Darudapo ought to have continued from where Amosun stopped, not that you supporters would be slapping our faces with his failures. Tell the whole NL if Darudapo has a direction or purpose for Ogun state. Where is Ogun IGR now on the chart? Amosun left it at No 2 after Lagos on the chart. I am not a dapo supporter. You have failed to read my posts. Never mind. |

Gazzy88: The current dummy governor should have resigned if he has any iota of shame left in him. That man ain't fit to be a football team captain, let alone the governor of a state. Ogun state never had it this bad. Man has successfully put the state in auto-reverse. The rot you see now is the cumulation of past neglect of over 20 years by previous governors. Gbenga Daniel - 8 years as governor Kunle Amosun - 8 years as governor Total = 16 years. The roads were neglected. The current governor needs to buckle up and do more to attend to the roads. He's been governor for 2 years. |

Remag666: My G no point arguing all those bastards still dey thief our money as we dey here so. Me I go soon japa from this cesspool sha And I think we should stop this habit of blaming past leadership we are in the present. We can't keep blaming Jonathan for buharis current misrule or else everybody will come and blame their predecessors forgetting we elected them to correct the past mistakes I understand, but there are times when it is past leadership to blame and there are times when it is not. You can't blame all problems on whomever is currently in power, especially when they just assumed power. This is the point I am trying to make to you. Ambode abandoned the blue line rail project in Lagos, Can you now blame Sanwo-Olu because he is the current Lagos governor? No! Sanwo-Olu has to catch up and complete it. Where are you planning to japa to? |

Remag666: Now it's no longer his time in office you have changed it to money forgetting that in August 2019 the governor of Ogun state made a request to the president to repair the federal road that links Ogun state to Lagos and they gave him the go ahead...... up till now what's the condition of the road? Abi person when no get money dey build federal road Don't even mention money that's not an excuse to any Nigerian governor they're are all rogues apart from a few that are looting and working at the same Read my post again. I said "you" are saying he has all the money available, not me. It is Ludacris to think roads neglected for 20 years can all of a sudden be repaired/rebuilt in just 2 years. That isn't realistic. All right Remag, all of Ogun state's problems since it was created in 1976 is Dapo Abiodun's (2 year governor's) fault. I hope you are happy now. |

Some might see it as am trying to blackmail Mr governor
Why I'm pained is because I thought this man will perform but at the end of the day, I got disappointed
Moving round city of Ibadan these days will makes someone sober I understand. That is very disappointing. And no; I don't think you're trying to blackmail the Governor. You may have more inside knowledge than I do. It is just very disappointing. |

The Nigerian division cut them off to SS just like okun are in kogi state. It's not carved out of Yoruba ethnic stock. If it were to be your people, your all your political woes and failures would be blamed on others. You see the difference between sense and the lack of it? God bless you Tunde. Remag666: Do you know the federal government estimates 3yrs for the construction of 6000km of road....we all know it's a big fat lie but is it possible to do that? It's very very possible. He has the funds he has the logistics the contractors are there. You talked about the level of damage...let me tell you it takes less time to patch damaged road than to construct a new one so that argument is invalid man all I see is you trying to justify his incompetence with flimsy excuses. His tenure is half over already if by now he has done nothing then I'm sorry the fact is that the idiot governor has no plan for the roads I am not making excuses for the Governor. Why would I? All I am saying is you can't blame more than 20 years of road neglect on a governor on seat for 2 years. I do agree that he could be doing more. And please, you said he has all the funds at his disposal I am on the side of the masses protesting. The roads (besides Abk) are nothing to write home about. |

Reference: Why not vote them back into power then to come clear their mess.
You are not a serious citizen. You want to excuse the people who should do it here and now and go after those either voted out or expired.
Little wonder Nigeria is in a mess. Hope you are not a CEO or shareholder of any serious enterprise with this mindset. @Reference, The roads that are damaged did not get damaged within 2 years. That's the point I'm making. I am not saying the previous governors should come back & fix the roads. What I am saying is all the blame should not be apportioned to the present Governor who's been in the seat of power for just 2 years. Gbenga Daniel was Gov for 8 years Kunle Amosun was Gov for 8 years Total = 16 years They did nothing to the roads. Yet, you want to put all the blame on the man whose been governor for just 2 years! This is the point I'm making.

When every state enforce what Rivers state is doing, terrorism up north will die a natural death. The northern elites are the terrorists sponsor and are using Niger DELTA oil to sponsor and make huge returns from it. That's how they generate their own IGR. Bunch of No good parasites.

LibertyRep: The list is obviously incomplete without the Former Governor, Ibikunle Amosun.
Whilst it is true that Dapo has been governor for just 2 years,he hasn't demonstrated enough competence towards the repair, completion and maintenance of roads in major towns in the state. I fully understand. I agree with you! |

The system are not working in Nigeria this not buhari issue You are right and this is very regrettable. As governor, you have to lobby the President, the Vice President, the Minister of Works etc. and discuss how bad the roads are and have them address it. But previous Ogun governors did nothing. It is depressing I tell you. |

What I am saying is he cannot fix all of Ogun's roads in 2 years. He is not lying idle; it's just that too much damage has been done before he became governor. Do you know the magnitude of the roads that need repair in Ogun State? |

Tareq1105: Warri has relationship with Yoruba nation. Just watch the tradition, name, and the language. Don't forget also that Warri was part of the old Western Region governed by Chief Obafemi Awolowo. In fact, Awolowo gave staff of office to Olu of Warri in the 50s. Also, Awolowo held the highest title in Itshekiri land before his demise in 1987. Yes! I just sent a wiki link to someone so they can see for themselves. yesloaded: Not personal affair sir
I'm not a member of any political party but I know what am saying
What the masses will benefit from is quality education, good healthcare, good road network, security, but this administration sees it as needless
I'm waiting for when we shall recoup 5.5bn spent on renovating the stadium that contactor even failed to do good work because it's now waterlogged & even the shed cannot hold rain
I'm waiting for when we shall recoup billions spent on motor park garage despite that it's work in progress
You see, if 5billion Naira was spend to complete and renovate lautech teaching hospital alone, Oyo state will generate massive revenue from it and the hospital will also be useful for lautech students. As far as the stadium is concerned, they should have sourced a more reputable firm. But overall, I think Makinde means well. |
