TANUSHKA:What exactly is worrying you ? |
One of the major problems with our higher educational system in Nigeria is that it is mostly funded by the government. There used to be a time when the govt could sufficiently fund higher education in Nigeria, but this is no longer the case. The unions (ASUU) and co would not let the govt partially privatize higher education. In addition, the govt does not have the will to admit that it can no longer wholeheartedly fund higher education in Nigeria. A public university that admitted 10,000 students and received $10 million a year from the govt 20 years ago now admits 30,000 students and receives way less than $10 million a year from the govt and it cannot increase fees to upgrade buildings, fund research, buy computers & latest software etc. We think this oil money is so much that practically everything - education, healthcare etc - should be free. So, therein lies the problem. Times have changed but we refuse to change with time and face reality. |

djcrucifix:No, but the poster wanted to know the least expensive private university. @thread starter, you should try googling the private universities to find out their cost of tuition & fees (I believe most of them have a web presence). For a list of private universities, check out this link |
Nigeria is currently ranked No 1 in Africa according to FIFA, but I am really not impressed at the way we played. Besides Martins' brilliant goals, our offense was lacking power. I also thought Taiwo was unnecessarily rough; he cost us a goal (the penalty kick given to the Mexicans). We really have a lot of work to do before the Nations Cup next year. |
tosinadeda:Thanks oo my brother. Osaze was just relaxing on the bench. |
