coretechng1: A bricklayer once told me its different cost plastering with plum(spirit level). I wonder how you wont work with basic tools that make your job easy, neat and fast. That is a different case. You said "basic tools" not Electric powered machines. In the case of the comment you quoted, he was talking about having the same cost for using a manual tiling machine and the electric one, manual tile cutting machine is a basic tool and the electric ones are not, considering the fact that one, 1. Most times these machines breaks down and you need to replace it, who bears the cost? 2. They use blades which needs to be replaced from time to time on the course of the job, unlike the manual ones. Who bears the cost? 3. Provision of Fuel for the generator that will run the machine, cos one can't rely on Nepa , that's if there's a source of power on site. Who bears the cost? Yes, if you request for special machines to be employed for your job as against the manual/basic ones you need to pay more. It's more like asking why there's a difference in the cost of hand mix concrete and machine mix. Simply, machine and machine running cost. Machine not tool. |

ceelog: Would you recommend 0.40mm (First Aluminum) for a small duplex? 0.45mm you mean? If it's first aluminium, it's very much OK. |

KolaShangOne: And please water it day and night. We are in the dry season. good point. Professionally, curing is supposed to be done by preventing escape of water from the concrete. If there's a means of wrapping up the concrete with cellophane, that will be the best. In the absence of that, try not to let the body of the concrete dry up, keep watering it. |

Abdomox: Hello all,
Please I need your advice on the best aluminium (Longspan) colour to go for. Was told other colours will fade due to rain and sun impact, except brown colour.
Kindly advise pls. For me, I don't think colour is the issue but product. If you get a good product like First Aluminum, Tower and other ones, they will stand the test of time, irrespective of the colour. Only if you want to go for the imported coil, that's when you will start considering colour, and you should be careful with choice of imported product. |

because there are cost implications for using machines and sometimes clients wont want to pay for that much. check my profile, most works are machine made. aonag: lol. you guys are funny. why do you want people to pay you for doing manual jobs when you know that using machines as a standard would make your jobs easier, faster and neater? |

Adedward: chech the types of wire they want to used before any others things, they are some wires in marker, DAT pass DAT 7,500 he mentioned here, thats the problem, he didnt specify. Nigerchin and coleman should be more but Im sure he wont be buying those ones, last last he will go for cometstar. For residential projects like this, electricians go for those ones strictly on clients demand. |

If am right, the 3D and the floor plan ain't the same. First what is the location of the project 2. I think it's better you give out the contract to the roof carcass level then you take over. Then get someone you trust, like a brother to oversee the payment while you the contractor does the labour and material( with payments and negotiations made by your contact person) Nwokeomajayb: Hey guys I’m planning on giving my land it’s title. Please what’s the estimate of completing this 4 bedroom bungalow? I’ll appreciate that so much. I’m tired of this so called friends quotations. A land of 1.7m they took 3m because I based abroad. Guys I need help here. I’m even thinking of giving the contract from foundation to above linter level then I’ll take it from there. What do you guys reckon? Which way is more considerable cheaper for me? |
