My people, like I said, let’s just forget about this NNPC stuff. I feel sad to say this, but the fact is that everyday, it is becoming clearer the exercise is a scam. It may have started as a genuine recruitment, but that is now long over. The recruitment is a scam. No APL this month and, and my instincts tell me, for several months to come. Our major priority right now should should be how to repair Nigeria for our children, beginning from infiltrating political parties to showing more interests in politics so that the bad eggs don’t end up ruling over us, the intellectuals. Once the government of any country is good, every other aspect will be better. Those clamouring for twitter callout of NNPC, it may be cool for us the lucky candidates who have progressed thus far, but I see such motivation as a bit selfish because the recruitment only concerns us. If some of us did not get to the interview stage, I don’t think such people would be fighting the course on twitter for the people who got to the interview stage. So, let’s think more than NNPC. Let’s think of Nigeria as a whole. There is a deep-rooted fundamental problem in this country. Channel any energy you have into repairing Nigeria, first and foremost via politics. This enthusiasm to change Nigeria should for our children like I said. For our present generation, there is no hope.

Now this is not a personal prediction or whatever, just gave the info as soon as I got it... It could materialise or not.. But dats not on me, so if anyone is saying I shouldn't pass the info becos nobody is 100% sure whether it's true or not, dats the person's business not mine...

So if you follow my previous posts, I mentioned earlier that my boss here at Seplat Petroleum where I work has a nephew who also applied for GT and is among the hopefuls for this recruitment, so he (has connections to the Towers), that period when the rumour of cancellation got to a boiling point and I rushed to him, I told u all here he immediately put a call through to an immediate past COO who was his close friend who debunked the rumour, now that same time, the former COO sent him (my boss) the contact of a current human resource personnel at the towers and since then, the HR officer (a woman) has been updating him ever since. So this evening she called my boss to inform him that they had a big event today (NNPCQUIZ2019) that attracted huge dignitaries like dangote and governors, and after the event, the GMD had a very brief meeting with the HR and ICT departments and gave them the go ahead to start working on the documents needed to notify the successful candidates.. She also said they would start the process tomorrow Friday and hopefully BTW Monday 25th and 27th depending on the speed of things and how fast they can arrange the documents Because they are working on over a thousand applicants (GT & EH combined) notifications might start being disbursed. To add, My boss asked if she could check if his Nephews name was among,.. She declined saying it would be very risky to do that, that the names are shared amongst various officers, and one officer can only work on the letter of maybe 10 applicants, this way, they can't know everybody.. So that's it... I'm hoping it happens as I have heard this evening... Fingers crossed..

oga allow people to report what they heard in peace. U must not swallow everything everyone says, just sieve the ones you want to believe and move on.
The fear of been castigated will make many not to share "reliable" info.

I have gotten a tip from one reliable source, don't ask me where, but he said some individuals were given APLs already and that they have reported to the towers since. So stop wasting your precious time ooo

I reckon you have not been compensated. Did you happen to get any extraordinary remark from your panel during your interview. And do you believe you aced it?

Please, pray you get alert soonest. Let’s take a look at this scenario. If some candidates, who forged credentials or who had certain discrepancies in their interview files, passed the first stage of a recruitment, when an employer discovers the irregularities or forgeries in their files, the employer will frown at how the candidates even made it thus far. So in this case, NNPC will not even release money to even pay the ‘tfare’ of people who NNPC feels shouldn’t have been in the interview in the first place. Therefore getting alert is the first stage to show you have been considered a true applicant. I’m just feeling sorry for those who haven’t still gotten alert up till now; I just pray that your file is not in Mama Funke’s akara store.

Hello Everyone!
I was scheduled for 9th July, 7am.
We were only four present when the list was called for 7am to go meet our panelist.
I was the third to be interviewed. I was invited into the room by the secretary, then offered a seat by the chief panelist. The chief panelist asked how was my journey from Lagos, and when I arrived into Abuja. Then each of the panelist introduced themselves, and I was asked to introduced myself in 30 seconds.
I kept it short and simple , highlighting the necessary info I believed they wanted to here, and they nodded when I was done.


The first question was "from your CV, I can see you have a knowledge of database, views, and tables since you are a technology officer at xyz bank, tell us what is stored procedure in database" I explained what a procedure is and what "stored" meant and related it to database

The second question was "tell us a time when a colleague at work , wasn't doing their duty, how did you react" I answered in the direction of trying to know why the colleague wasn't doing their job and motivating the colleague in the way I could.

The third question, " Give me five safety precautions to take while driving on a rainy day" ****Use of wiper, Seatbelt, Driving at a reduced speed , traffic light, Use of pointer were my response.

The Fourth question, "from ur CV , you talked about disaster recovery on database, tell us a time when you recovered from a disaster" My response was to ask if they were talking about recovering from a work related disaster or life experience (personal) and they said a personal experience, I gave my response, while they noted certain things down on their papers.

Then I was asked by the chief panelist, if I had any question, I commended the whole recruitment process and asked the chief panelist "what would be his advise to a newly employed GT into the organization" He laid emphasis on being open minded. I was thanked for coming, and on my way out , the safety officer called me back for the famous handshake, lol.

I believe I did my best, praying to God for Success!
