As we approach 2019, many comparison has been made between PMB and Jonathan Administration..... But from my own comparative performance appraisal between the two Administration, i have come to the conclusion that:
1.) Just like the last Administration, ethnocentrism and poly-communalism are still very much present in this administration.. That is, different ethnic groups are still trying to pull the country towards their direction to satisfy their parochial interest. Nigeria is devoid of ''unity of direction''....
2.) Although this administration has promised to fight corruption. But corruption, just like the last administration, still pervade all levels of public bureacracies.. Appointment and promotion of employees is still based on ''who you know'' and not ''what you can offer''....
3.) people are still dying of hunger and starvation... Come to kogi state and see.....
4.) Domestic food production has increased enormously, thanks to diversification policy embarked upon by PMB and his team... But there is still much to be done....
5.) Reckless spending by top public officials has been reduced drastically.. Accountability, responsibility and social justice are more present in this adminstration than the last one... All thanks to the introduction of Treasury Single Account (TSA) by PMB and his team.......
6.) The issue of insecurity still remain a serious cause for concern in some parts of Nigeria.... The case of fulani herdsmen in Benue state is a testament to this assertion.... And the fact that Bokoharam are still wrecking havoc in some north-eastern part of the country also validate this statement....
7.) The name ''Lai Mohammed'' will go down in history as the man who furnished us with all sort of lies just to save the image of PMB administration..... This old man sabi lie well well......
8.) And finally, i will say that GEJ Administration flopped woefully. The magnitude of corruption under his watch still remain unmatched. But all in all, both Administrations failed to fulfilled their campaign promises, although PMB has a better scorecard than G.E.J entire years in offices....
I pray for God intervention in our political system.....
