I know that is different from country to country.

How is it in Nigeria?

Marriages between Cousins allowed or not?

Can you love your Cousin/ Cousine and have children with her/him ?
Why would anyone want to marry their cousins? the chances of children from such union been deformed are very high. undecided

Freakin idiiots. They were giving underage kids voter registration and having them vote but I guess their usual style having babies, goats, cattle and chicken didn't put a dent on GEJ's momentum. If Buhari was winning there will be no report f rigging GEJ. Foolz just can't accept the fact that a southern minority can run and win without their backing. Sorry Hausa-Fulani North but u are no King makers. The SW, SS, SE and Middle-belt have learned how to play politics well well.

@ Arosa,

The arm and finger can never be for an under aged girl. The goat is doing his civic duty. Very patriotic i must say.

who did "it" vote for?
That is a hard one, because there is no close up view, we can't tell which party it voted for. But further investigation is needed on this matter.

So, why can't he be from Umuahia? Why does this mean, to you, that he has multiple personality disorder of some kind?  undecided
don't tell me you believe Orikinla is related to the first lady. Or is the first lady Igbo? cos he said in quote
I AM 100% IGBO FROM UMUAHIA IN ABIA STATE

@Poster

I read somewhere you wrote that you are Igbo from Umuahia, https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-646145.32.html
Is Jonathan wife from Umuahia? If you are making false claim, aren't you as guilty as the person you are accusing.
It pathetic how people here are commending you left right and center at the same time condemning somebody that is doing exactly the samething you are doing.
It's evident that the poster has multiple personality disorder. It's not his fault he doesn't really know who he is. lipsrsealed
Politics › Re: Adieu Buhari? by Arosa(m): 1:40pm On Apr 16, 2011
Buhari gave us discipline, granted! But at what cost? His boys (Babangida ,Abacha and abdusalam)took over from him to rape Naija in turns. Now that democracy is here, he wants to come back to do what? undecided
I don’t like any of these retired generals , they are all the same “clique”. Buhari proved this by saying that his boy Abacha was not corrupt. embarassed Nobody needs them, they should leave us the Bleep alone. angry

Politics › Re: Video Evidence Of Massive Rigging! by Arosa(m): 9:44pm On Apr 15, 2011
The deference is that, this time around voters were advised to film any rigging.  undecided

Kobojunkie:
Nigeria had about 30  million subscribers and there were no videos of poll rigging. Is that then to suggest that there was none of that?
I am not talking about how many subscribers Naija had then, but how many had phone cameras.
Politics › Re: Video Evidence Of Massive Rigging! by Arosa(m): 9:30pm On Apr 15, 2011
Kobojunkie:
Unless you will also assume that rigging was isolated in elections prior to this since no video exists in those cases. ***hissess***
I wouldn’t say that. In previous elections fewer people had the means to record events at the polling stations. But now very many people have digital cameras or video phones. Plus this time around voters were advised to film any rigging or unusual events at the polling station. So you would expect to see more video clips of rigging circulating if it was rampant.
Politics › Re: Video Evidence Of Massive Rigging! by Arosa(m): 8:53pm On Apr 15, 2011
country with the highest number of mobile phone subscribers in Africa (81million) we seem to have just ONE VIDEO it’s a shame beyond measure, is that all the evidence we could gather.
Another way of looking at it, is that fat-so-rigging was an isolated incident.  undecided

Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, there is nothing that will make my day more than to see a youtube clip of these 2 women being hacked to death with matchetes.

I want to see the cutlasses slashing their flab and them wailing in agony before petrol is doused on their remains.
Scary thoughts! even if it's a joke. angry is this the justices in your utopia?
I think he was referring to the almost inaudible female voice between 2:10 and 2:13 is it difficult to confirm really, but I heard a male voice saying "AMEN" after she uttered something that sounded like " . . . must be president"  it's a noisy video.

BUT all that is beside the point, wether it was PDP, ACN or CPC rigging, it is rigging. That is the point.
can't argue with that.

caribchic:
It is true that some just prefer light skin and some prefer dark skin, however it is undeniable that some men still associate having a light skinned woman on their arm as a sign of improved status, it is sad in a time when status should be based on meritocracy not skin colour.
That may be true in the Caribbean but not in Naija.
