namfav: southerners expect too much from hausa and fulani, you cannot blame the north for the lack of development in nigeria nor can you blame the north for the violence, nigeria is supposedly a union of the north and the south, if the country is divided in 50/50 why do the south accept the north to develop the country by itself? if everyone in the north were driving a mercedes benz then you can say that it is a 1 sided afair but it clearly is not, because we have to pull up with each other the development has to be collectively it is just common sense, as for southerners questioning northern ethics, can everyone mind his/her own business, we all have our own systems, emir, oba, igwe etc., whenever there is a talk about something being negative in nigeria the north has to be on the topic, you never hear talk in the north about how the south should do their things, but more often you hear in the south how the north should do things, and people wonder why we hear incidence such as those involving nysc The almajiri problem is not just a Hausa and Fulani problem anymore It is now a naija problem. that is why we southerner are going to be up in your business. we want change, or else. . . |

Kenyy: Have you ever ask yourself what would have happened to the VP-Sambo(a Muslim and a Northerner) if they have met him alone in his family home immediately after the Ridiculously Rigged Presidential Election? We(a Core Niger Deltan myself and majority of Northerners) had expected a Diplomatically Rigged Presidential Election where everybody would go home happy and not a Ridiculously Rigged Presidential Election? Here is the Diplomatic Rigging we had expected: NW-GEJ(20%), Buhari(75%) NE-GEJ(25%), Buhari(70%) NC-GEJ(26.5%), Buhari(69%) SS-GEJ(75%), Buhari(5%) SE-GEJ(76%), Buhari(9%) SW-GEJ(77%), Buhari(6%) GEJ & Co. would have won and Buhari & Co. would have gone home happy. Is that what buhahari told you? |

daroz: No, I cant take this anymore, these northeners are not human, they are all animals, right from the 1st to the last. Why are they so blood tasty? Why do they always look for every available opportunity to slaughter we southeners as if we are cows. We have to make this even. MEND, MOSSOB and OPC are really disappointing me. Why do they have to warn them to cease the killings or else they retaliate? Have these vogabond ever warned us b4 they skrike? I lost a family friend to the hands of these fools sometime last year, more and more are still been killed daily, its time to take it personal. THIS IS WAR!!! For that, I on this day, the 20th of april, 2011 thereby declare all northen muslim my enemies. I shall always hurt them anytime and anyhow I could. They should start to experience the pain of loosing loves ones for no just cause. Can u imagine the kind of torment they would have caused the families of those NYSC members if thay had succeded? I know a handful of some Aboki gatemen and shoe makers residing peacefully in my locality, I even have one and his family leaving at my gate. I am going to start with them, and also I am going to sell the ideal to others too. This may not be the 1st time I have said this, but this time around, I mean it. Please my brother don't do it. please! God will guide us through all this. |

sirjec: What headline is wrong. Few days ago people were not thinking that the headline and comment they were using concerning rigged election was wrong and could cause chaos even when their allegations were unproven. Now a Headline that clearly explains what happened is being criticised as capable of causing bewilderment. Hypocrites
The HEADLINE IS WHAT HAPPENED AND IT'S RIGHT.
How many times will this happen before we become honest. The north is hostile to visitors and why are they always sending visitors to serve in the north? If they want to continue this NYSC, Northerners should serve in the north and southerners in the south or let the scrap NYSC. I blame southern governors because if I were one, no one from my state will serve in the north.
Let us stop this madness. The northern leaders are wicked and derive joy in seeing people die.
Everyday people continue to die yet you don't hear anything. All you will hear is peace has returned to north. Nobody goes in for it. When it happens in the south you will see planes bombing everywhere.
UNFAIR There is nothing wrong with the headline, it's just that my heartbeat stoped just for a few seconds after reading it. |

My peeps, there is no need for reprisal, so we don’t step so low like the amajiris. All we need to do now is to put pressure on the government to bring the perpetrator of this crimes to book. Violence is never the solution to any problem. Thank you please! |

The fact remains that there was opportunity for government to be proactive but they didnt act. Please tell those familes that have lost loved ones in ths madness that Please monkeyleg don't get me wrong, I am with you on this, the government should always be proactive. |

monkeyleg wrote; My only compliant is that they should have anticipated the potential for serious violence and made necessary preparation. Peeps would have read a defrent meaning to that. They would have said he knew he was going to win the election before inec published the results, thus the anticipation of violent. |
