Yeah you not far from the truth. You know this mentality of people rushing to lagos for greener pasture, nollywood played a huge role. Ikenna in the movies moves to lagos with no skill or education, in 2 months time, he returns with a range rover. Most of us while growing up started to conceive the notion of Lagos being a 'hammer' ground. I lived there for 2 months and I nearly lost my sanity. The rush, noise, pollution, fake lifestyle, leeching and dubious attitude,I just couldnt deal with it.

About the Lagos matter, Lagos is like the New York of USA.
Lagos has a very booming economy, and it's still the best economy for most businesses.

I stay in Ikorodu, the "posh, boti" part.

There are slums in Ikorodu, where people swim out of their houses.

The problem of other states developing lies with the Federal government. If the Government can create ports and industries across the zones, most of these companies will definitely relocate.
