I have an issue with my 2002 honda accord. Yesterday, I scanned the car since it was misfiring and got the following codes po300, po301, po302, po303, po304 plus po1399. Took it to the mechanic and the spark plugs were changed, fuel pump changed, fuel nozzles cleaned, EGR was cleaned. Cleared the codes.

Today, it started misfiring with the po1399 code and o2 sensor code only showing. Please what can I do to resolve this issue.

Good day House. My Honda Baby Boy was hesitating to enter gear and making a thumping sound on reverse and started blinking D light and I took it to a mechanic. He checked and told me he needed to top up 1 can of transmission oil. No1 mistake: I didn't even know the oil he used. After a 2days, car was still hesitating to enter gear and making a thumping sound on reverse. Took it back to him and he called a gear "expert" who told me the oil is empty as it has drained out due to a bad seal. He fixed the seal and refilled with 2 cans of transmission oil. No2 mistake: I didn't enquire on the type of oil he used. I noticed that D-light is still blinking and all the symptoms are still there. Now, would draining the oil and refilling with recommended oil save me? What is the recommended oil and how much does it cost? Should I first of all scan the car before making any move?

Just go buy new gear box

She is right. If you go to govt hospital, they will take your blood sample without telling you what it is for. After some time they will call some people aside, those ones get while others can go

Good evening all, my Honda Civic 2002 just went off while driving. i started it after like a minute and it came on, Rev normally but the RPM stopped working, Key light keeps flashing and car wasn't moving normal too(like it's dragging).

I managed it to the office and parked, I removed the battery as advised but key light continues to flash after putting on engine and RPM isn't working.

There is a fuse that is burnt in the fuse box. I faced the same issue one time. I will find out the name of the fuse and let you know

Thanks bro. I have identified the issue. The VTech solenoid is leaking oil and the oil is short

VTech malfunction. Ensure no engine oil leaks and that all oil seals are not leaking .

Ensure you are not short on engine oil.

If all that is checked out, clear the code. And drive for a while (drive hard exceeding 3.5rpm) rescan if code is still there check or replace device in the pic

Please help, my honda civic 2008 has gear problem, after I scanned it, I got the following code, P0752 shaft solenoid A stuck on, P0777 pressure solenoid A stuck on and P0797 pressure solenoid C stuck on. The car can't go beyond 30km/h and the gear will slip off. My mechanic advice I change the gear box which I did but the problem persist even with the new gear box. I rescanned the car and I still got same code. Please what could be responsible for the problem and how to I solve it. The D light will start to blink when it about to change gear while in motion.

Ask your mechanic to change your gear sensors. I think they are up to four sensors on the outer body of your gear. Don't rush and change your sensors. You can search for each of the code on YouTube with your car name so you can advice him

I have some issues with my car. It's a 2008 Honda Accord Coupe. I bought it Nigerian used last November.

Prior to buying the car, I have no knowledge of cars...heck, I didnt even know how to drive.

Lately, I've come to notice some problems with the car:
1. Whenever I change gear to reverse, it comes with an abrupt jerk and unpleasantly loud sound. I know cars jerk alittle when shifted to reverse, but this one is too much.

My mechanic had initially said it was engine seats, to which I have replaced them, all to no avail.

2. When driving, I periodically hear this sound underneath like the gear is trying/struggling to change. Something a bit similar to the reverse sound, but not too loud and doesnt jerk.

To this one, somebody said something about changing a gear sensor, but I'm not so keen yet; as I dont want anything that will involve me tempering with the gearbox.

3. Sometimes when cruising/accelerating, it comes to a point when the stops responding to throttle, rather it justs revvs high without corresponding acceleration. Until you allow it for a while, then gradually and slowly picks up speed.

All helpful inputs will be highly appreciated.

Start by servicing or replacing the gear sensors. If this does not work, save for a new gear box.

I removed the oil filter cap of my ECO49990ES and the oil poured out. Does this mean the the oil is is over gauged? Note: the gen was on a level surface.
