Bukasint:
First of all, the church has no branches. Punch can doer news.
Pastor Chris, If anyone is fake then that person is you. You're jealous of a man who never bothered about anyone or any insult, he was just doing his things, blessing people, praying for people & saving souls. I think you're jealous because he took the shine off you people.
Chris, you said God told you that you will be president of this country & you ended up not scoring upto 5% of the total vote cast. God is not a failure. Something else spoke to you not God.
The bible spoke against divorce, as a man of God you divorced your wife ever since. You that cant manage your home against the dictate of God's words you're calling a man who was with his wife all through his life a devil
I use to watch your live church programme then & I never saw you perform any miracle but you condemning a man that performed miracles as Jesus performed miracles while here on earth.
You drive convoy of exotic cars "Jesus 1, Jeuss 2, Iesus 3..... etc but you condemn a man who was driving around in a Hiace bus despite the fact that he was far richer than you but would rather use those monies to help the poor & needy. Mind you when Jesus was here he rode a donkey once in his life not even a horse. In an era where horse was main way of moving around by the rich
A man who was very humble while you seem proud with Jerry curls.... a man who preached love while while you take upon yourslef the status of God by judging other men of God
You should have taken your time to watch his EMMANUEL TVchannel for a while before you conclude on him. I never liked him too because I beleived he was evil & fake because of what you peole said way back then but I decided to watch his channel so as to find out myslef but I found out he was something else entirely. God sent. Also try & go to YouTube & watch the visions people all over the world saw before & after his death (including muslims). Mind you he even predicted his death n told people that he will tell them in parables when the time comes and which he did on that very last day he passed on when he said "there's time for everything, time to come here & time to go home after sevice" he didn't complete that service when he went in to rest & never came out alive.
Please & please, Kindly do a detailed research on people before judging them so that you will not be judged.
MAY GOD FORGIVE US ALL

Foreign Affairs / Re: Ugandan Presidential Elections: Lessons From Bobi Wine by asaajuomo1(m): 4:58pm On Jan 22
Earlier this week, we spoke about President Yoweri Museveni and his hold on power for more than 35 years. The second part of his story and the yin to his yang, if you will, is none other than Bobi Wine.

Mr. Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine, ran against the political giant in his country this month for the position of the president. Bobi Wine seemed incredibly passionate about getting the country on track and doing what was best for her.

Unfortunately, as you know already, he didn’t win. However, despite this loss, Bobi Wine is still a man whose actions are worthy of emulation in more ways than one. To help you understand what we mean, we’ve compiled a list of the top three things you can learn from Bobi Wine despite/because of his loss:

Your past doesn’t define you
Bobi Wine didn’t begin his life the richest person in Uganda or any part of the world, really. Before his music, it’s safe to say that this exceptional young man was fairly unknown. However, he gradually built himself. From his music to its promotion and everything else in between, Bobi Wine applied just the right amount of effort. In no time, he became one of Uganda’s celebrated artists and the Kyandodo East Member of Parliament Seat winner – a highly contested position.

No matter how big the challenge is, just try and give it your all
When Bobi Wine ran for president in Uganda, he was going up against a really tough opponent. However, you choose to see it, Yoweri Museveni had been in power for well over 30 years. Even before then, he had served as a leader in various areas. If he didn’t know how to do anything else, he knew how to win an election. All of these factors were obvious to Bobi Wine.

Despite the challenges, he still gave it his all. Of course, he lost the election eventually, but we know that life isn’t exactly a fairytale with happy endings all the time. As a matter of fact, he was detained and placed under house arrest by the government. But, even with all of these challenges, he has continually stood strong, taking the bull by the horns at every turn. This, in itself, is admirable in more ways than one.

You win some, you lose some
This is perhaps one of the biggest things you’ll get to learn from following Bobi Wine’s journey through politics. His life has been in stages. One of the precursors to his popularity was his music. Even though he was largely interested in providing educational entertainment, a niche that’s generally not very popular, he still found his feet in the Ugandan music world. Apart from that, he scaled many mountains in the political world, too, winning a seat in a Ugandan parliament.

In spite of all these wins, however, he still took a major loss in the form of losing the presidential elections to Yoweri Museveni. That, dear friends, is simply how life is. Sometimes, things go your way, and you win big. Other times, they don’t. But, no matter what happens, you must keep moving forward.

ADAGBA JE RAUFU .......................
In case you wish to know the Event that led to the popular Yoruba say, "ÀDÀGBÀ JÉ RÀÚFÙ"
The phrase is not complete, historically, the meaning is .....
"Àdàgbà jé Ràúfù, ó sàn ju Ògúndèyí bá n múgbáwá (or ahá)".....

Meaning.... "To Change ones Name at late age is better than Ogundeyi serve us with Palmwine....aha is a small calabash in form of Cup used in serving or drinking palmwine .

There was a Man called Ogundeyi, he was like a bar man in one of Yoruba King's palace. His duty was to serve King's guests everyday.

One day an itinerary preacher came to their town and Ogundeyi got converted to Islam . The Scholar gave him AbdurRauf based on the circumstances of his conversion.... But in the olden days, the Name was better called Ràúfú.

Ràúfú decided to follow the Scholar on dawaah outing that lasted for months....

On his return to the town, Ogundeyi (now Raufu) shunned his job of Service Man at the Palace claiming Islam abhors drinking of intoxicants. He became subject of discussion, taunting, abuse, name calling and jesting.....

One of it is ....Adagba je Raufu. That is, at old age, you suddenly realized the need for Raufu instead of Ogundeyi based on religious belief.

But, an event that Changed the narrative was a drought they experienced in the town . There was no rainfall for years, and all the Idols were appeased to no success...
Then, Ogundeyi went to the King to inform of a Prayer he learned through his Alfa that can bring rain ( Solatul Istisqai).

The King in dire need of a way-out of the drought agreed to Ogundeyi's suggestion.

The whole populace gathered at the outskirt of the town to observe the Solat led by Ogundeyi or Raufu. They hardly finished the solat and there was a heavy downpour to the admiration of the people.

Ogundeyi was revered as they saw as someone with better efficacy of prayer. Thus, the narrative Changed instead of abuses it turned out to be praises...
The phrase was now modified to.... "Àdàgbà jé Ràúfù ósàn ju Ògúndèyí bá n múgbá wá or bá n máhá wá.
