PoliticsRe: Election Postponement: Not Peculiar To Nigeria by ascaris(m): 2:28pm On Feb 08, 2015
Our elections had always been in April. Although this postponement is not good for the sponsors of these rallies but for some of us who only see the Abuja big boys during campaigns, we are still expecting them again!
Bring all the loots again. Praying for another reschedule time table after round 2 rallies. Thieves! We are waiting for all the parties.

Christianity EtcRe: No Prophecy About Election Postponement by ascaris(m): 9:12am On Feb 08, 2015
Prophesy? even after the NSC meeting most people didn't belief what Mimiko said rather they preferred to report the twisted version by Okorochas and APC.
This is why i respect mature people who dont behave like touts. This Mimiko guy just said Nigerians should wait for INEC to consult and address the nation.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Believes He Will Defeat President Jonathan With A ‘landslide Victory’ In by ascaris(m): 8:56am On Feb 08, 2015
This is good for his morale and those of his supporters, but it's good they know in their inner conscience that GEJ can also win by landslide too (vice versa). This is how we should see the election. Let us not deceive ourselves and be heartbroken when the results are announced.

I guess you have to drag the VC of UNN and UI to court.

Each university has its own stipulations.

A professor is a university appointment.
I had mentioned these Universities in my first post.
It is a pity that we don't have clear rules in situations like this.
I think LASU ASUU is looking at cases such as in UniJos.

eaglechild:
Fellowship in the field of medicine is actually equivalent to PhD and with sub specialization it is equivalent to post PhD.
A Prof. of Medicine lost this case in court in 2010 when he was disqualified from running for UniJos VC.
A VC with Fellowship can not Chair the senate which awards Ph.D!
You can not give what you don't have!
Untill we recognise HND as equivalent of First Degrees this issues will continue to be with us.

Where is the Ph.D?
Fellowship is not equivalent of Ph.D!
EducationRe: LASU VC, John Obafunwa Has No PhD & Holds Two Jobs - ASUU by ascaris(m):
Why do Lagos State Govt. appoints a Prof. with Fellowship to be a VC? These were olden days practice! Am afraid these Prof. also mentioned some Universities that are headed currently by Prof. with Fellowships. If this is true, then i am sorry for this Country.
VCs chair the Univer. Senates that award Ph.Ds to students, so why will some body award Ph.D to students when he himself do not have one! YOU CAN'T GIVE WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE!
I can still remember a Prof. of Medicine was disqualified from contesting for UniJos VC in 2010, he went to court and lost.
Fellowship is not equivalent of Ph.D!
Untill we recognise HND as First Degree, the VC of LASU is occupying that office illegally!
Show us your Ph.D! i did not mention JONA if you add THAN no you sabi.
OP! make una try submit my post this year oh..i try so many times last to no avail.

We will follow you to cause civil unrest only IF all your children will join us. The time is fast running out on all polithiefcians in Nigeria. We are begining to understand your hunger for power and to continue looting our treasury. We will continue to sensitizing some of our peers who still think that some of these LIARS mean well for Nigeria. Jonathan said he was without shoes but he has forgotten those still without shoes. Buhari instigated the violence that rocked this country after 2011 elections and Amaechi is now trying to follow in his foot prints.
I remember Buhari said he will not contest for President again but he is now in the race. What is the difference between GMB and JEG? Please my peers lets fight for our country and not any of these politithiefcians.

Symphony007: Your government came to you and said a "nigerian scientist in diaspora" donated this drug. Who knows his name, his company, which country exactly is he in?....when you administer an untested drug on patients and rather than cure the virus, multiply it and even make it airbone, who will you run to?
I know Dr Simon Agwale at the University of Jos before before he left for the US. He is a patrotic Nigerian.
Even if it is a food suppliment, will there be any harm in using it? Let us not play politics with our lives.
We will surely survive this Virulent virus.
HealthRe: Striking Doctors Offer To Treat Ebola Patients by ascaris(m): 10:45pm On Aug 05, 2014
I hope some Doctors will not denounce their calling ooo..
Me think this ebola virus is a product of mutation of non-virulent virus in some Labs. These same Labs will later turn out to be our SAVIOURS.
God help us in times like these.
