The issue is that some people seem good cuz of the condition they found themselves in. She is your wife, you've got to separate from your parents and live alone with her. She might change if you use wisdom and prayers on her |
Huhmmm |
Its a pity that these kinda words find their way to the space |
ok |
moderatedguy:I don grow pass your pain. Ok? Have a nice day today |
Ok. Next topic please |
grossintel:Bros, take it easy and visit a Mercedes dealer shop |
Better |
oyepaulkay:ok |
oyepaulkay:I can supply you. What's the quantity? |
dru23:Check the manual you attached... Use API SJ In lube selection; API Classification plays the major role. |
dru23:OK! but you can now change the title of this thread...20W50 doesn't harm engine that is in need of it |
dru23:Whats the API spec for this Mobil 1? SN Plus? |
dru23:Its not false advert... its like a HYBRID. Just like combining the features of the two ranges (GTX and Magnatec) in a single product. Thats just the secret. GTX has its strength in fighting SLUDGE while magnatec has intelligent molecules as its strength. These clings on the bodies to be lubricated even when the engine is off for a long time. Thus, at the first motion of your engine mechanisms, there is protection from the start. |
dru23:We only have EDGE, MAGNATEC and GTX... That Magnatec GTX is advanced blend tailored for US Clime... Just Like GTX 20W50 is tailored for West and Central African Market. Bros; go for Edge Professional 5W30 or 5W20..(but 5W30 is preferable cuz of the range), you will get the result you need. |
Have you heard about 'intelligent molecules'? That's what makes MAGNATEC stand out!
|
radautoworks:Still funny... why is American spec auto different from Asian or European specs? |
rufdan:Mineral based oil will do the work. 20W50 but drain at 4-5000kms |
thebigkendo:God bless you sir... |
dru23:Bros, Castrol Edge Professional 5W30 is what COSCHARIS uses on all these Rolls Royce, BMW, FORD, RANGE ROVER... it's a perfect fit. Why going for advanced synthetic that you don't need just for the sake of using? The good news is that conventional drain intervals for Castrol Edge Professional is 8-10,000kms. Check BMW ISIS or ISPI Platforms |
dru23:We have Castrol Edge Professional in drums... no magnatec GTX. Can you visit if you wanna buy? |
radautoworks:This your source is funny shaa |
dru23:The reason is that Exxon Mobil boosts the brand. All of us knows who Exxon is... |
dru23:The reason is that ExxonMobil boosts the brand. All of us knows who Exxon is... |
dru23:I just saw your new topic on Castrol. GTX Essential comes in 3 viscosity grades 20W50, 25W50 and 15W40...and are mineral oils. Castrol edge has 5W20, 5W30, 5W40 and Magnatec has 5W30...all are full synthetic and available as for SN Plus, I'll check its availability |
...but does your MOBIL 1 exceed SN? |
Now I understand your question. I'll check and get back to you but I'm sure of SN |
Take a look...

dru23:NEW API SN PLUS SPECIFICATIONS API Today’s modern engines are designed to deliver higher levels of performance, improved fuel economy and emissions benefits than ever before. Gasoline direct injection (GDI) engines are one of the more prevalent engine technologies that unlock the higher demands on today’s engines. GDI engines are sometimes susceptible to a condition called low speed pre-ignition (LSPI). A full range of Castrol’s products have been specially formulated to protect against LSPI and help you get the best from your vehicle. 1. What is SN PLUS? API SN PLUS is the interim spec within the lubricants industry that supplements the API SN category for gasoline engine oil performance. It helps bridge the gap between current ILSAC GF-5 and future ILSAC GF-6 specifications. It was developed in response to auto manufacturers request to ensure gasoline direct engines have guaranteed protection against low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) events. LSPI is caused by high pressure build up in the cylinder of the engine which can damage your car’s engine. 2. How do I know I need an SN PLUS oil? As of May 2018, no OEMS are recommending an API SN PLUS oil but check your owner’s manual to see if you have a gasoline direct engine that might benefit from an API SN PLUS oil. GDI engines are named differently by manufacturer (eg. GDI, FSI, SIDI, Eco Boost), consult your owner’s manual to understand what specific engine your car has. API SN PLUS is expected to be recommended by OEMs in 2019. A host of Castrol products are already API SN PLUS licensed and are ready to meet the API SN PLUS category needs when OEMs begin to require this product. 3. Does Castrol have products that meet API SN PLUS? The core of Castrol products have been licensed by the American Petroleum Institute as meeting or exceeding the requirements of the API SN PLUS category. These products are Castrol EDGE (Advanced Full Synthetic): 0W-20, 5W-20, 5W-30 Castrol EDGE Professional: OE 0W-20, Castrol EDGE Professional 5W-20, 5W-30 Castrol EDGE High Mileage: 0W-20, 5W-20, 5W-30, 10W-30 Castrol EDGE Extended Performance: 0W-20, 5W-20, 5W-30, 10W-30 Castrol EDGE Bio-Synthetic: 0W-20, 5W-20, 5W-30 Castrol GTX MAGNATEC (Full Synthetic): 0W-20, 5W-20, 5W-30 Castrol GTX High Mileage: 5W-30, 5W-20 Castrol GTX Ultraclean: 5W-20 and 5W-30 |
mammanbawa:This smoke is not bluish... it's a COLD START and the engine is yet to attain the operational temperature. If you notice the temperature gauge for cars that still have thermostats...the temperature rises and gets to a place that looks like the middle of the gauge. At that point, if it tries to move up, the thermostats opens and the engine cooling fan comes on till the thermostat closes it again as the coolant is cooled down... the engine temperature maintains a range for optimum performance. I rest my case... |
YES! But let me enlighten you more. API ie American Petroleum Institute Classification is a MUST on all multigrade oil that's why you get SD, SF, SJ, SL, and SN is the highest API Classification at the moment for Spark Ignited IC engine lubricants. The S in the classification shows that it's for petrol/gasoline engines ie spark ignited while API Classifications starting with C eg CD, CF, CH is for compression ignited engines or better still diesel engines. Let's not argue much. The symbol you see is for API Service and they went ahead to tell you that the product is the finest blend of the SN class Its technical. Castrol is not just oil, its fluid Engineering... trust me when I say that its fluid engineering. We don't just maintain standards...we improve on standards.

dru23:Bros... inasmuch as you can influence your audience online doesn't mean no one else knows it more than you. Check Castrol Nigeria online and know where their Laboratory is. The Lab is even ILCP accredited aside ISO 9001:2015, SON MANCAP.. See the link below: https://www.castrol.com/en_ng/nigeria.html You can send me a PM and we discuss in detail. I can facilitate your facility tour |
