PoliticsRe: ABIA 2015:the Leader We Need. by asha80(m): 9:34am On Oct 21, 2014
Zutchy:
I just think the zoning thing, was a waste of time and will do us no good cause the incumbent governor wants to go to the senate, have his son go the house of assembly to be the speaker and also choose who succeeds him, for me it's a very greedy move and the NWC of PDP should look into it seriously.
if abians allow t a orji to do all these then i will know abians do not care about there state.
PoliticsRe: ABIA 2015:the Leader We Need. by asha80(m): 9:07am On Oct 21, 2014
Zutchy:
And who says, he is not doing that?
not sure...just saying what i feel....with this zoning thing in the air you need a lot of lobbying for those abia pdp guys to change their funny mind
PoliticsRe: ABIA 2015:the Leader We Need. by asha80(m): 8:36am On Oct 21, 2014
coming to nairaland to solicit for vote will not help..let him go to the grassroots and members of abia pdp.
Car TalkRe: Nigeria’s New Auto Policy Drops import By 20% by asha80(m): 1:14pm On Oct 20, 2014
Obiagelli:

Thanks for your insights naptu2, but my question is how does this policy ensure we aint going the VON way? These policy gives almost zero import duty to assembly plants/companies (except i am wrong), how will this encourage them to buy locally?
How do we ensure technology transfer?

Is not enough to say they will employ nigerians, many Nigerians have lost their jobs to these policy already. There are many unanswered questions.
as for your last paragraph no matter how good a policy you want to bring into nigeria or any society people must lose jobs...it all depends on whether the policy would create more jobs(and quality ones) compared to the lost jobs.
PoliticsRe: Abia State's Fate Played By Godfatherism by asha80(m): 10:21am On Oct 20, 2014
Abiaredemption:
They blamed Orji Uzor Kalu and his Mother, now the same family wants to impose a crony and continue the evil godfatherism.

For how long will the suffering of Abia people last?
Chinedu Orji(Ikuku), his father(Gov.T.A Orji) and Charles Ogbonna have advanced plot with their cult to impose their puppet;Okezie Ikpeazu as governor of Abia just to hold on to power and continue to loot the treasury.

The same Ikpeazu who failed to rid Aba of dirt has now been given N200million by Ikuku to start his late campaign. Where did he get the money if not our looted money, Who will save Abia? Rise up now and resist Ikuku and his gang.

Abia is too big for Ikuku and his father to pocket, just because he wants to become the Speaker and his father,Senator of the Fed. Rep. Abia Arise! We are not slaves. The time is now!
Pls share and let us together stop this from happening again
first and foremost if t a orji succedes in imposing this guy as pdp flagbearer then it is left for abians to vote for someone else in another party.i thought there is a saying that one would rather vote for a goat if a goat is contesting against a t a orji endoresed candidate?by the way 200m is small compared to what other aspirant of the pdp ticket are willing to spend eg uche ogah .

@ Chima

You just raised a very important issue, concerning our altitude generally to planting of trees and flowers. I don't know,it does not have to be a government thing, our altitude also affect our state generally. Imagine people disposing refuse in the streets and nobody will say anything.
provide them with waste bins and if they dispose refuse on the street then one can hold them responsible.

http://www.elombah.com/index.php/articles-mainmenu/25876-my-tuesday-report-card-to-governor-obiano just stumbled on this...the person that wrote the above is obi's former media man...the cardinal developers he talked about are the people that took over the construction of onitsha and awka hotels.....does that mean that obi and obiano's relationship has gone sour?

I am just so happy with this development, just imagine what private sector can do in Anambra State if given the opportunity. Now will they be independent from Enugu distribution company (Emeka Offor). So that what happened to geometric power (in Aba) will not happen to them.
This can solve the power challenge in Anambra State and environs.
unless the law changes before they come on stream they would be required to generate and send to enugu distribution co to distribut power....enugu disco and geometric really need to settle their deferences as their collision is affecting aba.

otti is not the only one money vying for pdp ticket...ogah is there too...it is about contact and grassroot support

what u saw is construction company with the name *hirbution*(sorry bro, can't remember but it start with H grin) unless they are the people that will build the Power plant but they have already built their slogan at the front gate and they have paint their whole gate with their company's name and slogan.

And do u know which city the power plant is going to serve?
ok my bad......this is their website.....http://century-power.com/about-cpg.html......and here is the places they are targetting.......http://mobile.bloomberg.com/news/2014-04-02/century-of-nigeria-to-raise-700-million-for-gas-powered-plant.html........however i dont think it would make much difference until we stop this generate and send to the national grid law we are still operating........here is also another news about them.....http://www.punchng.com/business/energy/ge-century-power-to-build-plant-in-okija/

The problem of central drainage is universal and not peculiar to Orlu like you are trying to claim here. Owerri also has its own drainage challenges but the good news is that Imo State happens to be one of the Southern States with low flood disaster.

Meanwhile more Orlu pictures. @asha80 you can tell pictures taken on Sundays from closed banks and public offices.
ok explanation makes more sense.
