Let the government of Lagos State do what is best for the state and if that includes kicking petty traders out of street so be it. However, Lagos is not a proper example. Igbo control a good chunk of Lagos economy. What does Ebonyi bring to Anambra other than uneducated masses in search of greener pastures , poor people , uncivilized people who litter the whole space and alot of babies the family can't care for ? What has Ebonyi added to Anambra economy ? Now , they are committing crime and soiling the name of my father's land.

I can name about 3 sectors Igbo has strong presence in and these Igbo a lot or majority are from Anambra..from Lagos Island markets to Trade fair to Ladipo to Oshodi etc. Igbo has contributed immensely in importation , hotel , real estate. The Igbo has made Lagos their own land and you can't push them off because they have invested so much. Don't compare apples and oranges
actually in way you can..let me ask you a question..have you noticed that most people undergoing the imu ahia system that igbo people are known for has tilted to ebonyi ..question is up and coming youths in anambra now that aren't education inclined why aren't they really interested in that anymore? Have you asked around to find out the people molesting business men around oba, nkpor, obosi? The people charging people that came to buy wares and keke? You really think it is non indigenes? If you aren't based in anambra call home and ask

Will they be writing about Anambra , Imo , Igbo or Uhrobo ? Please, write a sensible comment. We are talking about how the same Ebonyi people who have been badmouthing Anambra are the same people who get away with illegal business that are not tax-regulated. They live in cheap apartments , do petty business with no significance to our economy. They commit many crimes and have tons of babies. Who will take care of these children. If something is not done Anambra will become a den of criminals
writing about all igbos..same thing you are writing here is what some of them in lagos write too

...As police discover baby factory, four pregnant young girls awaiting delivery

It will be recalled that on 11/3/2021, there was a report at the Area Command Headquarters, Nnewi, that a four year old child of St Joseph's School, Otolo Nnewi, was returning home from School in company of his siblings when two men on a motorcycle grabbed the child and zoomed off with him.

However, the child was rescued by some commercial motorcyclists who pursued and eventually arrested the suspects at Akamili Community, Nnewi.

Preliminary investigations conducted by the Police revealed that the suspects who were beaten to stupor by an angry mob (one of whom was confirmed dead), were sent by One Gladys Nworie Ikegwuonu, presently at large, who also operates a baby factory and a brothel by keeping young girls and getting them impregnated after which she sells the children to her waiting customers.

Two suspects arrested are Abuchi Ani, 'M', aged 32 years, of Ohazora, Ebonyi State, and Emeka Ikegwuonu, 'M', 49 years, of Akabukwu, Nnewi, Anambra State.

Consequently, four pregnant young girls were rescued as follows:

(i). Chisom Okoye, 'f', 20 years, of Mgbaneze Isu, Onicha LGA,. Ebonyi State
(ii). Chinecherem Clement, 'f', 18 years, of Agbaebo Isu of Onicha LGA, Ebonyi State.
(iii). Blessing Ogbonna, 'f', 21 years, of Nkwagu Isu of Onicha LGA, Ebonyi State.
(iv). Blessing Njoku, 'f', 21 years, of Mgbaneze Isu of Onicha LGA, Ebonyi State, all residing at Cool Joint bar Nnewi.

Meanwhile, the Command is intensifying efforts to arrest the principal suspect, one Gladys Nworie Ikegwuonu, 'f', of Ohaozora, Ebonyi State, in order to bring her and other accomplices to Justice.

*CSP Haruna Mohammed, PPRO,* Anambra State Police Command,
For-Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command.

When I tell people that Anambra is littered with Ndi Ebonyi are nothing but a set back to our progress people think I am mean. Check all the names of criminal who have been arrested in Anambra and you will find out most are either , Imo , Ebonyi or Enugu. Go to Umuoji , my home town not a single Ebonyi or Imo man has a pin but they litter the whole place with refuse and commit all kinds of crimes.

Dave Umahi is busy building useless edifices that add no value to the life of average Ebonyi man while Anambra is filled with Ndi Ebonyi who are mostly involved in petty trading , okada and crimes. They breed like dogs and litter everywhere with children and mess.

Dave Umahi and his people have been taking turns to tell us how many white elephant projects he has build but what about the teeming poor masses of Ebonyi ? The useless governor has misplaced priority...you can compete with a person who is 100 miles ahead of you. The sort of gigantic projects Umahi is building show nothing but EGO TRIP.....I will show this Anambra people that always look down on us that we can beat them.

Of course , I have no problem with healthy competition but what exactly are we competing for when 1/4 of your population are feeding off my father's land. Take them back , clean them up and provide them with skills and jobs and stop the EGO TRIP with your useless gigantic projects.

I don't understand why some Ebonyi people come to Anambra thread to boast. There is nothing in Ebonyi state. That state is poor and need to develop themselves before coming out to brag. Most Anambra guys who are going to Ebonyi now do so because they see abakaliki people as easy to manipulate and exploit due to the pervasive poverty there.
very stupid statement

Are you still searching for truth in Nigeria? The issue is not the truth but honesty. The government led by Okoroawusa and Ozodingba cannot be trusted for anything. Government policies are led by executive orders or laws created by house of assembly.
not sure why you didn't list ihedioha's name there since it was him that constituted that panel that came up with that white paper

Abagworo:

Based on the whitepaper the issue is that Okorocha opened up so many new layouts and also changed purpose of use in others not that he personally took lands. The committee tried as much as possible to find fault in all his land use policies making it seem wrong that housing and real estate development increased under Okorocha.
you haven't answered my question...flooding increased tremendously under Okorocha..those places that were turned to something else against the masterplan of owerri are supposed to be allowed to stand?

I've read the paper from beginning to end and all I saw in it are recommendations for reversal of Okorocha's land use policies that saw the growth and development of Owerri. I can post some excerpts for some people to get the idea of the crap called white paper.
the people who got the land under did the get it legally? Have yiu asked yourself why under rochas flooding within owerri increased?

I hope we know that that panel on land distortion in imo and owerri in particular was constituted by ihedioha admin not hope..he just allowed it to continue and they are the people that came out with that white paper gazette that has given that their verdicts on illegal land acquisitions mostly done under rochas administration and also recommended some properties for demolition.

Also if you want to see the gazetted white paper on lands I can share it here

The trains will not just take off from Port Harcourt and appear at Maiduguri. They are going to service the entire eastern corridor of Nigeria. This includes places like Owerri, Aba, Enugu, Otukpo, Igumale, Makurdi, Kafanchan, Kuru,  Jos, Bukuru, Bauchi and Gombe.

Goods from the ports in Rivers State will be able to move directly to these places by rail, thereby saving money and time!
owerri isn't on the part of the existing ph to maiduguri line..so an branch off is going to owerri? Where would the branch off take off from along the original route? Since that lagos to calabar route has a branch of from benin to terminates at onitsha and now the branch off from ph maiduguri route has a branch off that stops at owerri i honestly think it makes sense to join onitsha to owerri and later join to aba

If Rochas did a good job, this government would proceed to other key projects. No, he was busy building substandard projects. Now, the Supreme Court governor is going back to a stage we should have passed.

PS: Seun, Nairaland is taking time to load. You probably need to expand your bandwidth.

Anambra Airport will be number one in the whole universe, noted, but can we talk about other developments happening in the state?
Where is James Nwafor?
Or those he killed not our fellow youths?
Why is Anambra State government shielding him from facing punishment?
What is the economic value of the Governor's trip to Texas?
Have any one us been to Onitsha Main Market recently?
Aside Old Market Road, which other road that leads to the market is motorable?
Upper Iweka should pass as the war zone, touts with uniform at all sections. Even mad people can do better?
I was there today, and the Governor is giving out parks upon parks upon parks to touts.
Keke in Kano doesn't pay a dime, Anambra Keke drivers pay between 450 to 750 daily, yet Kano generates more revenue than Anambra.
Election is around, what efforts are we making as youths to get it right.
Take it or leave it, Anambra is in Auto Pilot.
We don't know between Uche Okafor(Wiper), Primus Odili, EbeleChukwu Obiano, and Chinedu Obidigwe who exactly is the governor of the state.
With what I am seeing here, a lot of us are comfortable collecting peanuts from James Eze, and messing ourselves up.
The data coming from the world body that Onitsha is the 3rd most populous city in Africa is what we need to work with to sell our city and state.
Currently Tiger Foods is sponsoring a set of girls in Onitsha in Tech through Lady Uche, the lady that groomed the golden girls of Silicon Valley. Mind you, the Archdiocese Of Onitsha, and ANSG didn't contribute anything to it. (I dare anyone to come up with prove and I will drop Uche's number here, those of the girls too)
Can anyone tell us about the girls?!
So, we need to wake up.
At the very end, we are all at the receiving end, while those greedy politicians keep cashing out.
Ya gazie.
keke in kano pay fine..it is because they pay fine that they rioted or demonstrated some days ago
