Proxytalk: I am in anambra state now, i just travelled to get ist hand info on the election. From what i can see and interaction with people, obiano is almost contesting alone. APC is not even on ground, LP is only in AIT which signal is not received in anambra. From what i am seeing Ngige might lose in idemiri south.
Again from what im seeing can some one is in anambra explain to me this overheard jingle "obis poor perfomance" cos i can link it up with what is on ground.

Like what some one said, the only sin Ngige comitted was to join the APC. The man Ngige is just the right man the pple of Anambra need. He has the interest of his pple at hrt. I remember the day he came to Nkwo Nnewi on the wake of the problem then, u wud see a man who was talking from the hrt. U wud see the passion to work for his pple.

Without Obi and Apga rigging the election , the pple of Anambra that I know will still vote Ngige. Obiano maybe good I don't know, but Ngige has been tested so he will do well. Let's forget this e-campaign and the Op, we know their likes.

So there is nothing wrong attacking Willie Obiano and questioning what he has done for Anambra to merit the office of Governor

His records show that he has not don't much! Whether through his investment or through his service to the people I am yet to see a man who deserves to be a Governor.

If the election is free and fair he will have a hard time!

Afam4eva: Lol From this list, the only thing he has done for Anambra is the building of a fence for a school and not the school itself. What has doing something in Lagos and Houston have to do with Anambra. He should go and become the governor of Lagos or the mayor of Houston. I guess we just have to manage the fact that he practically grew up in Anambra. That should be more than enough and like you said, he's not a money bag. I'm more concerned about people like Ifeanyi Uba who with all the money at their disposal haven't contributed anything of note in Anambra state. I'll also like to know what Ngige has done in Anambra.

Afam4eva: My point is that the likes of Obiano have no business getting into the government house in Awka cos he has no ties in the state and this is evident in his election registration in Lagos. He should contest to become the governor of Lagos where he has his life. If he loved Anambra so much, he should have moved their to contribute his own quota. People like him and most candidates in the forthcoming election are opportunist.

Are you saying governance should stop because election is around the corner, sorry to disappoint you, Peter Obi is the best governor that has ever ruled Anambra state by my reckoning. I hail from a town in Nnewi south L.G.A and the only motor-able access road into my home town was tarred by Obi`s administration, the two secondary schools in my home town has a well equipped, functional computer laboratory with a brand new school bus each courtesy of Peter Obi.
The Anglican church-owned hospital in my home town has been upgraded with modern facilities and a brand new doctors and staff quarters recently completed and my elder brother who stays in the village permanently does not have to go to Nnewi teaching hospital anymore for his medical attention but does that in that now in the hospital in my town. My niece who schooled in a private school in Shomolu area of Lagos is now a student in one of the well-equipped schools by Peter Obi in my hometown.
So please you and Ngige should look for another story, Obi is a debt-free performer.

Abagworo: Show me where Rochas has talked about what he's done and I'll become a liar. Apart from "Yes We Can" program that last year or so, I've not seen any where Rochas has talked. All I see are a thousand and one haters saying that he makes noise but have no evidence. The Governors that make the most noise are Akwa-Ibom and Abia. While Akwa-Ibom has some things to show for his noise, you can't compare his 1st 2 years of highest allocation in the country to Rochas 2 years in office with one of the lowest allocation. Anyone that doubts me, should show me his level of work in Akwa-Ibom as at 2009.

Meanwhile Rochas is being fought by PDP using every means including asking contractors to abandon work and receive FG's protection and in some instances use court injunctions to prevent re-award of the jobs. In some others people are sponsored to refuse the use of their land for developmental projects so that Rochas won't get the credit. The latest is refusal to allow State library relocated and rebuilt to something modern while the one at city centre is used for something more commercial like a mall. Rochas cannot work if he is not allowed to and we all know who is behind all these.

Clerverly: Despite the endorsement of the candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Willie Obiano last week by the Anambra State Amalgamated Traders Association (ASMATA), a section of the group known as Anambra Traders has disowned him over a comment made in a campaign rally that appeared to lower the high reputation of traders in Anambra State.

The traders have therefore made a U-turn and are now throwing their weight behind the candidate of the Progressive People’s Alliance (PPA), Mr Godwin Ezeemo, who they described as the only candidate that doesn’t engage in character assassination and campaign of calumny.

This was contained in a press statement issued by a civil Society Organisation identified as the conference of Nigeria Registered Voters. The statement was signed by the National President of the Group and Human Right Lawyer, Barr Jezie Ekejiuba and made available to newsmen in Awka, Anambra State.

In the statement, Chief Obiano was quoted as saying: “I am pained when people dismiss Anambra indigenes as traders. A state that gave the world Chinua Achebe, Nnamdi Azikiwe. . . cannot afford to pay second fiddle to its contemporaries in education.

“The traders therefore consider the statement credited to Obiano as insulting. By referring to Anambra traders as citizens who play second fiddle because of lack of education by implication, he meant that traders in Anambra are second class citizens that have little or no education. This is wrong assumption, besides most traders in Anambra State are graduates.

“We therefore condemn this reckless speech of Chief Obiano and call on him to apologise to the Anambra State traders without further delay” it stated.

They then concluded by saying: “We strongly advise that Mr Godwin Ezeemo, the gubernatorial candidate of the PPA, with humane, philanthropic and strong Christian background remains the best candidate to be voted in as the Anambra State governor.”

Sincere 9gerian: Great. The crowd was massive. All the market leaders in Anambra have endorsed the APGA candidate. The other APGA aspirants who contested for the APGA ticket with Obiano were all present except Soludo. The students union groups also endorsed Obiano. It was great sha!

advice you people to save the little bread crumbs the Greatest thief to emerge from Nigeria had dropped in your hands, invest those little change. Don't spend all and live for today alone, invest because your hope of continued "chopping" in Obi's Obi four to the detriment of development of the state is coming to an end. I promise you that when Obi takes his hands off Anambra revenue it will dawn on you people that the man Obi can't use what he has stolen to feed you. Besides, he will be probed. That fear has been his greatest nightmare and that is the reason he can empty the State treasure in the effort to install Obi x four, Sorry Obiano.
So Kingbang and Co. make enough use of this campaign, whatever share that comes from the thief, invest well!!!
OBI is not coming back to rule Anambra in whatever form! A change is INEVITABLE. You will be Happy when Anambra is set free from Olumba's grip! So continue to pray for the change.
