kasiem: in my village alone, which is ezinifite, we have two secondary schools and internet servers were mounted in each of them, two million naira was given to each of them for re-equiping the lab and library, ten million was given to each of them for total renovation, a new school was totally built in another part of d villa, the village health centre was renovated to a high standard, a new maternity was built in another part of d villa, security vans with liters of fuel was provided, a pipe borne water in front of my dad's compound, laptops and desktops were shared to the secondary schools in my village etc, so with all these why wont my villa vote for apga? If my villa could vote for apga so would all other villas do cos all the villas gained these things and more. Forget that obi is not a media governor he is doing things in villas.
you forgot the all important ekwulobia ezinifite road construction that is going on.

Ngwakwe: They should leave Rocchas Okorocha alone to diligently give Imo State citizens the attention they deserve.

Love him or hate him, Rochas Okorocha is a man of vision, he got the passion and commitment to take Imo State to a greater height provided he shuns pleasing those political saboteurs and appointing dead brains, thieves as Commissioners and Advisers.

I would prefer Gov. Rochas Okorocha to come back to APGA and let's promote this brand.

Today's politics is all about followership and support base. APGA is free to support any National Party be it APC or PDP provided the price is right.
i thought at a time he made up with those other apc guys like achike udenwa.

Jokes EtcRe: Phone Conversation Between Tinubu And Ngigi After The Election. by asha80(m): 10:24pm On Nov 18, 2013
take dat: Cut the crap! Fashola is a stooge to Tinubu, as Obiano is to Peter Obi. Even in your good conscience you know that Soludo is a better candidate to Obiano. He has a sound understanding of how the public sector works than an untested Obiano. Fashola was in the public service as chief of staff to Tinubu before Tinubu imposed him.

Yes, Fashola did not contest in a primary but is there anywhere in the Electoral Act where it is stated that candidates must only emerge through Primaries? Isn't Obiano's primary a stage-managed one? What is the difference between an imposition and a sham primary?

I wish Obiano the best of luck, but you have to admit that Peter Obi played a politics of self-preservation.
soludo is more popular not necessarily much better than obiano..you can only know how good he is if given the chance in public sector...to be promoted four times in eight years to become chief internal auditor in texaco (first blackman to do so) is no mean feat.
PoliticsRe: APC Rejects Supplementary Election, Insists On Poll Cancellation by asha80(m): 4:48pm On Nov 18, 2013

PoliticsRe: Anambra Election Declared Inconclusive by asha80(m): 1:29pm On Nov 18, 2013
jp philips: APGA in Anambra is PDP by extension, jonathan is celebrating to APGA's victory even though Nwoye lost.
Nwoye was just a contingency plan to divide Ngige's vote.
i think nwoye actually divided obiano's vote....remember he is from the same anambra north and also from the same anambra east local council.
PoliticsRe: Lamentation Centre For APC E-warriors by asha80(m): 12:20pm On Nov 18, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: INEC has decided to delay the official pronouncement of APGA/Obiano victory by a few more days. Nothing spoil. We'll wait till the supplementary elections in those few polling boots are concluded. APC needs over 70,000 votes to catch up with APGA but the chances of that happening is 0.000000001%.
the issue is btw firsr and second place ie apga and pdp but the gap is still wide...apart from that 16local govt to 2local govts?not betting on that.

We have opened first aid center for all APGA hopefuls, please visit for the sake of your health
https://www.nairaland.com/1521549/anambra-guber-first-aid-center
hehe checkmating who?the voters that vote freely?what about other lgas where there were no issues?if you honestly believe that in this rerun nobody is going to vote for apga then u must be high on expired cocaine....let us see how nwoye who masterminded the rigging of ngige in 2003 would rig himself in...of course ngige is already out of it.freeglobe wake up.
PoliticsRe: INEC Declares Anambra Gubernatorial Poll "Inconclusive" , To Hold Supplementary by asha80(m): 6:52am On Nov 18, 2013
AtlanticBreeze: The numbers will be reduced drastically because most of the centers are cancelled and I believe more areas will be canceled especially in idemili, that's if the entire election is not canceled. fyi all parties will participate in the rescheduled election
hope against hope as if nobody is going to vote apga again.
PoliticsRe: INEC Declares Anambra Gubernatorial Poll "Inconclusive" , To Hold Supplementary by asha80(m): 6:44am On Nov 18, 2013
warrior01: Don't go and prepare for the supplementary election later you will come online complaining your candidate lost.
ngige is out of it.the issue now is that of simple majority btw apga who are leading and pdp that is second.apga has 174710 while pdp is 94956.the issue is the number of cancelled votes is more than the difference btw first and second.meanwhile apga won sixteen lgas while pdp won two...let us see the magic pdp will do.

Broken TV: ranting of a dieing man.
the thing is this, there seem to be disenfranchisement insome places like idemili north and south, ihiala and awka south...ok remove this lgas from the supposed 16 obiano has won it remains 12.winning 12 lgas out of 21 has almost satisfied the condition of winning andeven if you add the four to ngige's two lgas won it turns to six...question is what is the gurauntee that those all those disefranchised voters were going to vote for ngige?were some of those voters not going to vote for obiano and others?is ihiala and awka south apc strongholds?

emekax180: SWEET NEWS TO ALL EARS -APGA TROUNCE PDP AND APC IN ANAMBRA GUBER

It is sweet news and great news to note that APGA won the election for ANAMBRA GUBERNETORIAL election held on saturday the 16th of NOVEMBER 2013.

Despite the awaited result from Idemmili North ,which will add no value to the result released so far ,
20 LOCAL GOVERNMENTS HAVE BEEN DECLARED and APGA WON 16 LOCAL GOVERNMENTS WITH 171,975 VOTES.

2ND PLACE -PDP WITH 93,485 VOTES and won only 2 Local Governments

3rd Place -APC with 85,165 votes and won only One local Government.

The recasting in IDEMMILI has no effect but our good brothers in IDEMMILI NORTH should join the winning side and cast for the incoming party call
where did you get your results from.
PoliticsRe: NGIGE Leads In Anambra Guber Race, Followed By Obiano; See Breakdown by asha80(m): 8:58am On Nov 17, 2013
isioku: Don't be deceived my brothers. APGA has been confirmed to have won 12 LGAs as at last night. This means it needs 2 more LGAs to be decalred the winner. Anambra has 23 LGAs. Ngige tried and given a free poll he will win. But we knew before now that Jonathan had made a solemn promise to his friend Peter Obi to leave Anambra for APGA. They have used the age old practice of denying opposition areas electoral materials to swing the poll to APGA. If APGA wins, I'm happy. If Ngige wins, I'm happy even though I have reservation over his party.
it is 21lgas not 23:

PoliticsRe: APGA In Early Lead In Anambra Governorship Election by asha80(m): 7:13am On Nov 17, 2013
osymerga: I think this may be the begining of Ngige political downfall.Because from what i am hearing now, there is already a grand plan to make him loss the senate seat if he may choose to recontest again. Many political bigwigs (both PDP and APGA) in the state do not trust and like him.And the party he join is equally not helping matters. As a matter of fact, they have already starting to kill Ngige political career in the state, and they have already started with the guber election as a test. Many top politicians in the state are not comfortable with his nature.Got this infor from a member of the House of Rep.
are u saying that the story apga is leading is true?

theoctopus: From the punch

The streets in Awka are getting busy as residents in the capital city are right now trooping out to celebrate the victory of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in the Anambra guber polls.

The business people are gradually opening up shops, thereby defying the curfew order that should end by 10pm.

Before now, the PDP was in early lead.

Anambra election: Counting is ongoing

Ozioma Ubabukoh, Awka

Counting is ongoing in most of the polling booths and from our correspondent’s observation, the Peoples Democratic Party is leading.

The PDP and All Progressives Grand Alliance dominate the ballot papers, while supporters of the All Progressives Congress are still in shock.
