When you come on is a very very pertinent.

Coming on in the first half of asha80 perfomance by all and in the second half with totally different team tactics makes huge DIFFERENCE.

On total how many minutes did Aina playhuh And in what circumstance.

Aina is clearly better than Echiejile but is dropped why.
huh huh huh

Again, you got it all wrong buddy. It doesn't matter how well you can perform in your football club, if you can't replicate that form in the green and white then you don't belong in the Super Eagles. It's as simple as that.

Secondly, based on my little experience in coaching, I know that a good coach has to consider several things in selecting his team: including experience and balance. The current Super Eagles team is a very young team. How many of them have played in the World Cup before? So why would a serious coach sacrifice experienced players and leaders like: Onazi, Echiejile, and/or Musa, just so he can put in the greenhorns (Aina and Agu) who are not even marginally better?

Trust me, only armchair critics and armchair coaches like y'all would do that.

Counter attack is negative football. I feel cheated when I hear or read this team being described as a counter attacking team. Counter attack means you are attacked first and you wait to hit back. If I'm a coach I will never play this kind of game. If you pass me, you pass me but I go attack oo, I will attack. Once you have a good midfield and defence why wait to be attacked before you attack?
hehehe watch Romania and Croatia of USA 94 and France 98 respectively or Valencia of 1999/2000 season to know about teams that can kill you with counter attacks.. literally beating you with 2 to 3 goal margins.. note they also had good midfielders

Not just the leadership. The igbo business culture needs to evolve to embrace teamwork and complex organization. Igbos founded Nollywood but you cannot name a single Igbo studio or production house. They are still making 3,000 low budget films. Meanwhile it is people like Afolayan and Mo Abudu blazing trails in bigger budget well marketed films.

Companies like Innoson should have minority 30% shareholding by state government s. Then they are invested in his success and he should be producing the vehicles they use of similar quality to what foreign imports.

Okay, Sane's omission made me go around Facebook and I came to understand/see reasons why Coach's decisions should be respected.

Sane has played 10 or more matches for England with no goal to show for it even when a lot of chance was
created for it.

He plays selfishly like he is a Messi some of the time, makes unnessary dribbles and lose the ball. The German philosphy is team work.

Joachim the coach has players more experienced than him who contribute more in the German team than he does. Club form is different from National team form.

in conclusions, he doesn't fit to Joachim's team at the moment, he can only function in a Pep Guardiola's team.
These coaches know what they want most of the time, respect their decisions and only blame when it is ineficient.
for Germany though not England in your second paragraph z

It is not just about stats. It is about game plays... it is about what we saw on TV or live at the stadium. This was an England team running rings all around us in the first half. We made a tactical switch at half time and began bossing possession and we bossed possession till the end of the game. We sprayed more passes and had more forays forward than the English. We were simply better. The English, even having the home advantage, only adjusted and matched our dominance by applying an approach to limit our dominance from translating into further goals after our first, and eventually, only goal went in. They simply applied a subtle form of damage limitation.
They were not having the upper hand; we were.

All they were doing was doing their damn best to restrict us. They even started waiting to catch us on the counter. They played deep and packed the bus at some points in that second half. We dominated possession... we created more chances than them. We made more forays forward than them. We saw Mikel and Iwobi school these guys in midfield plays for most of the second half... Etebo completed most of his passes. The team was so organised and in control all half in that midfield. That is the game most of us here watched. They brought on Loftus cheek later on because they couldn't take it anymore. He did try to wrestle away control but we still had it in our grasps. The international media (most of them) affirms to this.. and you want me to sell the notion that we did not own the second half. Not happening. Like I said, it is surprising we are discussing this because by both stats and what we saw, Nigeria was clearly the side in control in that half. We were on the ascendancy, England was playing catch up and evasive restrictions. Simple.

In conclusion shaa... different angles of looking at a game exist. But I am certain I speak based on most major angles (if not all) looked at in that second half alone.
hehehe this stats of a thing is important but does not tell a whole story.. same way I saw someone on Twitter saying now that sane's starts at club level this season is better than reus (which is true) and so sane is better qualified than reus to be in this German team

Sitting in Anfield watching Brazil give Croatia a football lesson. Up close and personal.

From what I can see WE HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR from Croatia they have no pace.

Our weapon of destruction will be PACE.

Getting in behind them will not be problematic.

We just have to playing game with focus pace skill and good finishing
coordinating our attacks or counter attacks is the issue.. we have the pace to break them

i disagree with your first point. playing such high calibre friendly in a magnificent stadium as wembley will boast the morale of the less exposed players in the team.
i will not say it boosts their morale per say but it gives those players a chance to know what it is like playing front of a large(sometimes hostile crowd) that is obtainable in a competition like world cup
