In real sense, SA is just doing fine. The only problem is their leadership( blacks themselves).

At this time, SA has the power to retract their grabbed land. They only have the fear of losing ties with foreign diplomats; who are building their nation economically and socially.

If you think it critically, SA is 20yrs behind. Ask me why?

Good points though cool

Waste of money? The Healthcare in most developed countries are actually really advanced even though affordability varies across the first world nations.

Last time I checked, most of the African nations are the people battling with drought, Healthcare, poverty and poor education. Also, Africa is not in any way a major contributing continent to the Mars space exploration.

No one owes Africa their money. Africa should fix itself and let others grow instead of stressing them with babysitting requests.

Children In Freedom School - An Afrocentric Primary School in Kenya

Children In Freedom School is an Afrocentric primary school in Kenya and was founded by Oku Kanayo and Utheri in 2018.
Fed up with the international rhetoric that paints the African continent as hopeless, backward and in need of saving, the couple
decided to establish an Afrocentric institution.

I find it funny how “war torn/conflict heavy” North Eastern Nigerian cities are more developed or pocesses superior growth than some regions around the continent that have gone through virtually little to no conflict at all.

Exactly so.... That's the advantage of running your own country monetary policy void of influence from globalists.
Just40:
Not really.... They don't

Learn and stop following what they want you to believe...

They only increased their interest rate recently because the Swiss govt didn't want the Swiss franc to become a haven for criminal money by introducing a new law.
Yes really and tinfoil hats aren’t my style. wink

obaaderemi:
Even in Africa here Rwanda's inflation is -2%, less than 1%. Those with high inflation are not taking their economies seriously.
Just40:
exactly so

They are busy running central bank policies from the US fed and EU
Not exactly Rwanda is; say it with me now “medicating” the more negative effects by continuesesly hiking up there tottry exchange rates which in itself will bring it’s own questionable side effects down the line. An action they can’t afford to do for long periods of time. Same for the Swiss but that has an expiration date for them too though it’s much longer than Rwandas.

Yes there are countries not experiencing an inflation nightmare... Wake up from the alternate universe that destructive central bank policies want you to believe in.

Have you heard of Switzerland yet? Learn how they do it by running their own separate monetary policy
Ok dude keep telling yourself that whatever helps you cope and sleep at night but you can’t dodge reality in the waking world . wink

Ps. Switzerland does face limited inflation. That title is called “clickbait”. Those strategies are just there to medicate the more painful side effects which is what I already covered.

not really... Individual countries are responsible for their own inflation problems and this issue is not a global phenomenon. It is time for countries central banks to run individual policies.

Countries that have opted to run their own monetary policy that to wait for policy direction from the US fed or bank of England are better off.

My boi what alternative universe do you hail from? grin Are you not paying close attention to what’s happening around the globe? There’s not a country on Earth right now not going through some degree of above average inflation.

Rampant inflation is eating up the US and Britain too. grin Like I said it’s not all equal and it’s going to hurt weaker economies and currencies more.

Nigeria's total debt is just 95 Billion dollars. Those of Egypt and South Africa ( with lesser population and slightly lesser economic sizes) are over 200 billion dollars (still rising). South Africa is even okay, because they have more of local debts, but that of Egypt is borderline insane. Our total foreign debt is now close to 40 billion dollars, which is about 40% of our total debt.
No sole leader of any nation on Earth is going to fix this inflation. They could medicate some of the negative effects sure but this is a global problem that’s going to take global cooperation to completely fix.

Look to china and possibly Russia for partnership... The west is a cankerworm of self destruction
Why in the world would Russia help Nigeria develop a pipeline to Europe when natural fuels are the most important trump cards they have over the EU? China is a little more understandable but it ultimately depends since they unofficially supports Russia’s side of the war.

I’m not a big fan of the west but at the end of the day there far more developed and stable than Russia which is a pumped up struggling 2nd world country that would hit total collapse before the major Western countries. Same for China though not as advanced as Russia but they have far more industrial output.

Nigeria should remain playing both sides of the field.

Sure, the Federal Republic of Nigeria has passed through alot of tests and remained a single entity but each time it passes a test, it loses some foundations of its establishment. Nigeria is wearing out. You might not be based currently in the country, and you won't understand what I see. Nigeria might exist past 2023, but its stability within the coming years are not assured.

Since independence, Nigeria has been hailed as the jewel of Great Britain in Africa. Nigeria is viewed as potential world leader and the liberator of the black race but without that stability which would be key to our success, we'll keep losing citizens in large numbers and moving from one crises to another without achieving that potential. We'll keep being "a ticking time bomb".
Nigeria has never been hailed as the Jewel of Great Britain in Africa that would be South Africa. Shoot Nigeria wasn’t even the most developed colony at the time. Even before independence officials we’re assuming immediate India-Pakistan style disintegration and civil war.

It was considered the liberator of the Black Race at the time because of it’s unmatched black population size and strong anti-colonial/ apartheid rhetoric. It still is because Nigerian industry is only rivaled by those of the White South Africans and northern Arabs. Topping the blacksphere.

“Keep losing citizens in large numbers”? What is that supposed to refer to death or brain drain? Like I said before civilian deaths are at a record low for the past decade and while Nigeria does lose highly valuable and educated individuals most remain and many return to set up shop. Not to mention Nigeria’s birth rates are well over replacement level.

Stormtrooper11:
So? Alot have changed. Nigerian economy has dipped. Inflation has increased. People have found goods much expensive. Terrorism has spread out of the north east. Many Nigerians think that the government is sponsoring nepotism.

Nigeria might have not collapsed but the misery index has soared
Where all still waiting for you to post this “misery index”.

Nigerias economy dipped in 2020 along with the rest of the world but since 2021 it’s been net positive.

Stormtrooper11:
Simple question, do you feel much safer pre-2015 or now?

I'm not a political person, I don't endorse your candidate or anyone else publicly.
Like any Nation on Earth that all depends where you reside within said country. As for me I feel safer now of this date.

Nobody here is denying Nigeria’s shortcomings where just not going to put up with your gross sensationalism and exaggeration fueled alarmism

Ohh, that delusional teen arrives.

I'm not a failure but it's highly possible you're such, that's prolly why you go around making clueless statements online like an APC spam bot. I use the word "we" because like you, I'm a Nigerian too but until the day I drop this citizenship and get another, I'm entitled to comment on affairs of the nation.

If Nigeria was growing so fast and great as you claim, it would have had affected the common man on the streets positively. We won't had been ranking high on the misery index and amount of people in poverty. Nigeria is in shiit currently and we gotta admit that we're mismanaged.

The present modernization of the Nigerian Armed forces is just like scratching a surface. The Armed forces is filled with personnel who are only there because they have Godfathers and connections. The Nigerian Army have issues with troops lacking coordinated fire discipline, to company commanders and platoon commanders lacking the basic ability and skills to lead their men.
I know there are positives and good soldiers amongst them but the rank and file is extremely corrupt.

You talk about the operations in Mali like Nigeria did anything significant. Our troops literally operated majorly at the rear end mounted checkpoints.

Finally, I'm a strong believer in the oness and greatness of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I want a great country that's why I speak out. Unlike you, I don't sweep my dirt under the carpet.
There is no misery index at least not one with a credible algorithm pretaining to Nigeria. Stop pulling nonsense out of your soar tail hole you immediately discredited yourself with that one. Economic development has effected the average Nigerian. Nigeria has one of the fastest growing middle classes In the developing 3rd world and expanding local business is turning major profits. My statement on the military complex remains standing strong.

Stormtrooper11:
If Nigeria was so industrialized than ever before as you claimed, then the Nigerian naira wouldn't have been in a sorry state as it's currently.
I’m supposedly a teen yet you clearly don’t understand how the correlation between economy and industrialization works. Facepalm
You may not be a kid but it’s pretty clear your filled into an emotional wreck or just your typical internet manchild.

I never said Nigeria was perfect it’s very much still a 3rd world nation punching below its weight with a lot learning to do; but like I said modernization and industrialization has never been pretty. You want me to join you in misery but again I’ll pass.

Since your a stronge believer in the greatness of the Federal Republic and like indexes here’s some I know you’ll just love…… or hate. wink

Let's be honest right now fr. The Federal Republic of Nigeria is living on past glory. We ain't no big brother. Nigeria is in turmoil. Things aren't what they're supposed to be. The corruption has totally torn this nation. Religion has destroyed the mental thinking capacity of the average Nigerian. We're at each others throats.

We're a hungry people. A hungry people are angry people. Angry people commit barbaric acts.
Stormtrooper11:
I'm not actually giving an excuse for those barbarians and scallywags who claim to be terrorists but undertake the bidding of evil Nigerian politicians and elites.

The Nigerian government had failed. It's glaring that the Nigerian government and its crude democracy can't manage its population and resources. The systematic corruption has crumbled the only physical symbol of national unity which is the Nigerian Armed forces and destroyed morale and dedication of the few who wants to make a change.

Nigeria is running out of time. This game which these evil politicians run like a cycle would soon spin out of their control. The chains will fall off the wheels and might lead the entire establishment to a total collapse quicker than envisaged.
First of all drop the “we’re/we” and dpeak for yourself and keep everyone else out of your mouth. Just because YOU might be a failure doesn’t mean everybody else is too or that it’s another outside parties fault. I know misery likes company but you can’t assume others will join you; I certainly want.

Naija has been popping for awhile now with some soaring to new heights, some easing there way in and unfortunately some slipping under the bus. Then there are just losers who do nothing but expect the world to be handed to them.

No state has been a heaven while modernizing and industrializing in there respective timeframes.

From a military standpoint Nigeria is stronger than it’s ever been in the twenty first century in terms of enrollment, tuition, and arms procurement; not to mention a growing military industrial complex which it never had before.

Nigeria has been been providing military assistance all of the continent from Mali to Sudan to Somalia all while dealing with its on affairs. And you know what insurgency and banditry is at the lowest it’s been in since 2015. For example where once the West African coast was being described as the new Somali coast is now going months without major issue.

The same can be said to describe nearly every current growing sector in the country. The fact of the matter is while not as peaceful as ever Nigeria is indeed more developed and industrialized than it’s ever been at any given point in history.

This fantasy of this bygone era where Nigeria was once this prosperous glorious prototype greatpower in the making never existed. There where never any past glory days forgotten because in order to fall from grace you must first rise to a certain level and that level Nigeria has yet to ever reach.

See the people with your mindset hate the reality of Nigeria improving in one form or another because your steadily running out of excuses to blame others for your shortcomings. You fear the day you’ll be forced to accept full responsibility for your own plights.

Nigeria has all the time in the world and it isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Some have been pondering whether or not Nigeria would disappear since the 1960s; they’ll still be wondering about that in the 2160s.
