Kenyans are the ones who thrive on negative argument even when the news is positive.

Is it stupidity or just poor memory?

We all know know is relevant on the African continent and Kenya is not part of that .... You guys have archived nothing for the African continent.

You were given the chance to prove the various areas of development that your country will outbest Ghana and you couldn't get more than 3....
I expect you and your fellow Kenyans to be quiet in that dark village of yours.
We’ve been over this already. grin A Ghanaian referring to anyone’s country here as a village is comedically ironic. cheesy

Out of everyone here and there respective countries Nigerians, Kenyans, South Africans, Tanzanians etc; Ghana performs the worst in nearly every proven ramification. lipsrsealed

Weakest economy
Worst industrial output
Worst agriculture
Worst services
Worst infrastructure
Weakest business culture
Slowest development
Average investment
Lamest Music
Worst performing athletes

Sorry my boy but you guys need to knock off the BS for the time being. You Ghanaians especially abroad have blown so much smoke up each others @sses you’ve detached from reality. lipsrsealed

You gained independence before anyone here except South Africa and you’ve achieved the least out of everybody here.

Your leadership thrives on delivering cute speeches and that’s the most of it when it comes to “contributing” to the continent.

You know I find it so interesting that despite the fact Nigeria and Ethiopia are the respective military powers of there regions, are culturally pivotal pillars of Africa, and share a similar national situation being large frankin countries made up of a plethora of bickering ethnic groups and cultural distinct mini-states the two countries share little to no interaction whatsoever.

Even Nigerians and Ethiopians out in the wild don’t mesh with each other much.

True, however they don't control the law, education and media like they used to, in fact it's now the other way around, the left are now in control of all that, and we can see the spread of leftist ideology like, cancel culture, prescribed pronouns, LGBTQ, Defunding of police, single parent homes, CRT ect ect

At least back in the they right wingers were openly racist, todays lefties are much more subtle.
Who controls what depends on the state or city. For example the right controls Texas along with many inland southern states while the left controls California along with many coastal and northern states. California is the media capital of the nation so of course they have a digital advantage.

Everyone right and left participates in cancel culture they only go about it in different methods.

Prescribed pronouns are grossly over exaggerated the vast majority of liberals don’t even mess with it.

Although the west has weaponized LGBTQ to an extent that’s no reason for alt righters to go on Killing Sprees targeting them. That’s barbarism.

Single parent homes has little to do with politics it can be found anywhere by everyone. If the relationship is good it’s good; if it goes to crap it’s crap. Matter of fact alt righters banning abortion is only going to make it far worse and more prevalent. Don’t get me started on alt right INCELS and the grooming of children.

By CRT do you mean Critical Race Theory; If so then what of it? It’s TRUE in some places ESPECIALLY in the USA; much of the West, Latin America and once upon a time South Africa. grin

Your view remains just that your views and in your parlour not a reflection of geo-political reality nor the view of a college of scholars. You might want to start by telling us what powerful meetings Ramaphosa has that Buhari even with his docile foreign policy does not exceed. Even if a toad sits in Aso Rock he'd exceed by influence any Southie president.

There are metrics for relevance such as trade, GDP, natural resource, output and military and some of the major countries or unions of the world has Nigeria as their largest trading partner. Difference must be made between bilateral and multilateral relationships.

In the case of South Africa a part of their economy (the white economy) is tied to the west. So naturally the western press plays up the relevance of South Africa but in reality they are only tolerated just because they don't want another Zimbabwe to happen to their people there. The ANC or at least some of its elements understands this position of things.

When it comes to Africa only Nigeria commands the loyalty of some African countries in ways that South Africa can't and never will. The world knows that and the lobby to influence African capitals is in Abuja not in Pretoria, this is the reality owing to a whole lot of factors. In fact right now presently the Nigerian Air Force currently controls all of the Air Space of The Gambia and the State House of some African countries. That is real power.

Except for old Europe the US sees Nigeria as Africa's most important country and hence its president same for China. For the middle East and Israel it sees Egypt. South Africa has yet to unravel and God forbid it does it might cease to exist if the local indigenes decide to take back their lands majority owned by the whites. This is what the UK and old Europe courts. This is the optics you saw on TV with Ramaphosa meeting the King of England or at any western fora. On the other hand Nigeria has sovereignty over its lands and its mineral rich deposits 100% and takes no dictates from any foreign power or anyone something which the west abhors.

Wake up, what have you been drinking. Don't watch too much CNN, France24 or BBC all of which are geared for a skewed narrative against Africa's realities and potentials. Egypt had no leverage over Ethiopia or Sudan over the Nile. Its influence though limited begins and stops in the middle East. Having shiny guns by itself does not make you reckoned with especially if the sovereignty of those acquisitions are suspect such as funding from Saudi Arabia.

Nigeria is Africa's only hegemonic regional power and its president carries that clout.
Based… The uncomfortable reality many here don’t want to accept and would rather run mental gymnastics around.

Ghana is the West African poster child of Hyperinflation. That mean BOG has done a bad job.
The 2nd would be Nigeria.
The Francophone have done a great job by defaulting to France/Paris to manage their currency.

Ghana at one point it was 1 dollar for 10,000 cedis or 50,0000 cedis. You started again 1:1 ; now we are 1:15; soon we will be hitting 1:10,000 again

In East Africa - Kenya has had stable macro-economics - and we had challenges in 1990s when central bank was under gov.

We changed it - and with 2010 constitution - we took the best - now Central Bank is well run like FEDs.

A country that is Africa poster child of hyperinflation together with Zambia and Zimbwabwe should shut up.

British made a mistake to allow Ghana and such to mint their own money. Now all that gold has never helped.

THINK TANK & ACADEMIA

Insightful, educative diagnosis and prognosis of Nigeria's national security, foreign policy and reform of the UNSC by the legendary Nigerian diplomat and former foreign minister Professor Balaji Akinyemi. From about 38mins Italian intelligence uncovers direct French interests & subversive elements in West Africa. On the whole a great study for military, intelligence, security & foreign policy won.ks. & Jun.kie.s.

The professor basically cleaned the stables, even shading some ex-leaders for treason.
Nigeria really should do away with the current policy since especially 1999 of punching below its weight [strategic ambiguity]. Hasn't worked.
