Prayer from my heart to the speaker and entire leadership of PDP in Oyo state, is that God will give them the right direction to take Oyo state to a greater height and also bless the good people of Oyo state. Amen |
LET JUSTICE PREVAIL |
Just imagine a BRIGAND like omo agege who had no respect for the symbol of authority of the legislative arm of government is being presented as a DSP candidate. How can BRIGAND like him preside over his colleagues in the hallowed chamber. |
APC na scam. Synonymous to mismanagement |
BRASH:I am not a fan or Ndume but I doubt if Ndume will work for Lawan. Don't forget he was the former majority leader in the 8th senate before he was smartly removed when he went for afternoon prayers during seating. Prior to the 2015 next election, Ndume has stated it clearly that he is a big brother to Lawan and Yobe state been carved out from Borno has benefitted alot which is not even commensurate with what Borno which birthed Yobe has benefitted in Ndume's voice. He Ndume also said Borno state has sacrificed alot for Yobe state thus when he was also asked to step down as majority leader after Lawan was smartly played, he refused. Ndume trouble started when he started fronting for senate approval for the confirmation of his kinsman @Magu for EFCC chair. So I feel Ndume is on his own except if the PDP senators see reason to forgive him then I see him clinching the seat but except that PDP have something in stock we must wait for till tomorrow. 24 hours is a long time in politics you know. |

ATIKU IS COMING
|
An unprecedented upset is loading. |
Johnnyessence:I don't even get you people. From the above pictures, I can see SEN. Ekweremadu's picture on the wall. Does that mean Lawan is having a picture of distinguished Sen. (Prof) Ike Ekweremadu's picture on the wall of his sitting room? Sarrki is a clown wallahi |
All I can see is Sen. Ekweremadu's picture on the wall of SEN Lawan's house. APC can put out anything for propaganda. |
Oloye will surely bounce back stronger and indefatigable. |

INDEFATIGABLE Senate President of the 8th assembly. |
General. Muhammadu Buhari is serious about destroying this country but the Biblical Nebuchadnezzar comes to mind. |
Mr Itse Sagay your input is inconsequential on this matter. |
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has withdrawn from N25 billion fraud filed against Danjuma Goje, former governor of the state, according to NAN. The case, which has been on for close to eight years, has been handed over to the office of the attorney-general of the federation. Babatunde Quadiri of federal high court II, Jos, is the judge handling the case. When the case came up for an emergency hearing before Quadiri, the EFCC counsel, Wahab Shittu, told the court that the agency was withdrawing from the case and handing it over the office of the attorney-general for continuation. “My Lord, this case was earlier adjourned for June 20 for the continuation of hearing, but then we are here today on the latest development on the matter,” he said. “We as EFCC counsels are withdrawing from the matter and handing it over to the office of the Attorney-General for continuation with the prosecution. “As you can see in court today is a state counsel from the AGF’s office to formally take over this case from us.” Responding, Paul Erokoro, Goje’s counsel, did not object to the EFCC withdrawal and handing over of the case to the attorney general. “My Lord, we do not object to the anti-graft agency’s withdrawal and handing over the prosecution to the AG’s office,” Erokoro said. Pius Asika, counsel from the office of the attorney general, announced his appearance for the case. Asika then applied for an adjournment to enable him to prepare for the case proper “having come into the matter today (Friday)”. Quadiri then adjourned the case till June 21, 2019, for the continuation of hearing. |
Hero's of democracy. They both demonstrated how independent the legislative arm of government ought to be. NASS isn't an annex of the executive for any hater who wishes to quote me, it was evident during the valedictory session in the red chamber that Akpabio et al categorically said it that he feels before one becomes a governor, he or she should fast become a lawmaker. Nigerian's are made to believe that the NASS isn't necessary in our democracy which is awful to know. LITTLE WONDER DURING THE MILITARY REGIME, THE NASS HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE TARGET OF THE MILITARY WHICH HAVE MADE NIGERIAN'S NOT TO APPRECIATE THE NASS BECAUSE OF THEIR LONG ABSENCE IN GOVERNANCE (MILITARY REGIME).

Koolking:Most Ijaws are nomads as you said lol. I hope the also speak Fufulde. You just won an award for hypocrisy |
DoTheNeedful:I am a proud supporter of PDP and I owe nobody an apology to that effect. I am not a fan of Ndume and will never be one. In terns of constituency project, Lawal can't reach were Ndume is. Please if you have contacts in Borno and Yobe you can clear me out. Proudly PDP supporter |
baliyubla:Those fronting for him are just been blind to the truth. With all his legislative experience, I can bet you Sen. Lawan constituency have nothing to show for such a long serving legislature. Ask people those from his constituency if you know any. Patiently waiting for Tuesday in house election. |
What an emotional valedictory. That's what life should all be about, we agree to disagree. The encomium by fellow senators across party divide to Senator Saraki showed he was a true leader. Some said though they weren't his fan but he showed true leadership. |
greggng:Nigeria is a country that practices democracy. Respect for the rule of law should be top most. Thank God he isn't just a lawmaker but a lawyer also. He understands the place of law in democracy. Except if he wants to be a law breaker |
greggng:The case is already in court. He should go and clear himself if he is innocent shikenan. PDP this PDP that |
jrusky:Is south, south. Just as we have SE, SW and SS that's how north is . Have a nice day |

Gen. Sani Abacha aka Buhari's hero |
APC won't survive up till 2023. The biggest hit to befall them will be the aftermath of the NASS election. |
