There is nothing wrong with zone 13 being sited in Anambra state. Do you know that majority of cases in zone 9 Umuahia are from Anambra state? Many of the business men in Onitsha and Nnewi fighting each other over land and business all take their cases to Umuahia and often brag about it. The thing about us in Anambra is that we like 'abroad' things too much.

We thank Arthur Eze for bringing zone 13 to Anambra state. It doesn't matter where it is located in the state as long as it is within Anambra. At least Enugu and Ebonyi people will be paying transport to Anambra in respect of police cases and not the other way around. That said, Arthur Eze is incapable of being a godfather in Anambra state. He has been failing since he started trying, 2021 will be no different.

Where in Nnewi can be compared to Abakaliki city, not even Awka with their narrow escape called roads.

But when Obiano changed abakaliki road to club road, your governor sent high powered delegation to come to Awka and beg for reversal

He came to Onitsha in 2017 to campaign for Obaze but I didn't see any crowd. He even brought Fayose with him but they couldn't win a single local government for their party. Wike is overrated.

The Firs doesn't have the constitutional right to collect stamp duties on house rents and C of Os. Those are strictly within the jurisdiction of state governments clearly spelt out in the Land use act. If the governors don't speak up to reject this unwarranted usurpation of authority, then our federalism is in grave danger.

Appeal Court is different from an airport and this is not about politics. An airport serves REGIONS not political divisions. The sea port in Lagos serves everyone in Nigeria as does the sea port in Onne. An airport in Enugu serves not just Enugu but everywhere close to it including Anambra, Ebonyi, Imo, etc. So lets stop being so village minded on this forum!

That is one. Number 2 is that an airport is EXPENSIVE and does not make money until it reaches a certain volume. The only airports making money in Nigeria are Lagos and Abuja. The rest are being subsidized by government funds. If you do not know how airports collect their revenue, let me tell you. Most comes from TICKET TAXES and CONCESSION Fees. Enugu airport with 350,000 domestic passengers and 30,000 international last year domestic barely made $4m revenue or 1.6 billion naira . How much do you think it costs to maintain that airport? Asaba airport made 100m naira last year.

This is why any sensible person would ask why are you dumping huge sums of money into an airport? What do you gain by it? Enugu is there, Owerri is there, Asaba is there. You gain NOTHING but a huge debt bill like Cross River and Akwa Ibom. Now the revenue of ANSG is less than 100 billion. Its cities are nothing to write home about. None have functional public water supply, none have even 20% of their roads tarred so what are you talking about? We have better priorities than an airport for Gods sakes!

I don't have time for bad belle people. I seriously doubt you are from Anambra state. Even if you are, you can't possibly make this opinion in public without sharp rebuke or silent disdain from those you are engaging in dialogue. Osita Chidoka who spoke against the airport during the guber debate in 2017 saw how his people rejected him totally in the main election. Even his Idemili area voted against him, something they usually don't do against their own unless he has derailed.

That's what the whole state is saying except PDP the party of commotion. APGA will pick its candidate from the south, APC will pick theirs from the south, so will YPP and LP but Peter Obi who is looking for someone who will be loyal to him, has his eyes in another zone. Expect rancour in PDP as they will resist Peter Obi again.

Nonsense! Those airports are in business because they are oiled by the large patronage of Anambra passengers who are the most travelled among Igbos. So that is capital flight from and revenue loss to Anambra state. The same thing was happening in the judiciary with capital flight to Enugu state until recently when the Federal Appeal court was domiciled in Anambra. Opposition in Anambra are so bitter it is has taken a toll on their sanity. If they are not opposing the airport or the second Niger bridge, they will send a mad man to make some video near the Governor's lodge
