dduchess90: Hello
My 4th paragraph was in response to your option 2.
Bringing someone that you aren't in a solid marriage with. That could be a recipe for disaster in future unless otherwise.
Are you certain you will get a Decree Nissi in 4weeks? I am not a lawyer but i presume you need to give the respondent time to file his counter claims. I don't want you to assume it will be 4weeks please.
If you are certain that this is the end.My opinion, defer till Sept 2023, sort out your marriage/family through whatever decision you take, apply for your visa and the kids. You are starting on a clean slate.
The kids birth certificate are what proves your relationship as their mum not your marriage certificate
Cheers I understand, thank you for your time . |

dduchess90: Hello
I completely understand
You don't have to update the thread on this if you are uncomfortable.
My honest opinion seeing your marriage may have broken down irretrievably would be to file for a divorce. It might mean that you may resume before you file for them pending on how fast the court decides.
You don't want any issues hunting you in future unless you believe you can work things out with your spouse in future.
Regardless of being in the UK or not,you need to be happy. This doesn't seem so Cheers Thank you so much .. I don’t understand your 4th paragraph well enough. I heard if I go to a less congested state I might get a decision in 4weeks if I don’t want benefits. *I edited my previous post to highlight that I still have my last name and my kids have their Dad’s, do I need the marriage certificate to prove that they are mine ? |

dduchess90: Hello
What questions do you have??
You may wish to ask them here or refer to the Living in the UK thread
Cheers I have been writing and deleting because it is really personal and I really do not wish to put my life drama on a public platform but I don’t have many options , I just have to let my worries out. I am not divorced, not separated by any court , My kids father who am I still married to is not in their lives (he is enjoying his life ) I don’t know how to take my kids with me in January . I don’t know if I should apply with them or come back for them after six months (I am afraid of leaving them) I have never been away from them. I don’t know what the best option is for me * File for a divorce and ask for sole custody? (I feel I can get this because I have been the one paying all bills) * Ask him to go with us, he will jump on this (this option is only on the list just to get my kids visa granted not what I really wish for cos I am really hurt ) *Ask him to sign consent letter and try to get them visa? NB: except their birth certificates, only our marriage certificate can prove I am their mother because I still have my last name and they have their father’s. Kids are 11 & 9. This matter is giving me high BP |

Please if you've gotten an offer from them, do let me know when you applied and how long it took for them to make a decision on your application. Thank you I’m also waiting to hear from them , I plan to mail them tomorrow because I don’t have much choices as a higher National Diploma holder. |

( I won’t like to pay for another test since general isn’t acceptable) The school mentioned in their requirements that the proficiency test is for country that doesn’t speak English as first language. The school with affordable fee only offer 1 year PGD courses , I hope it won’t be a problem for my visa application ? Lastly , who can proof of funds come from ? How is the limit in naira ? [quote author=Myki007 post=106044540]It eventually ended in Praise PPR dropped for me this afternoon by 12:40. Today. This is completely God at work in my life, and it is happening the 2nd time in my life, 1st was in my 200l days when I got a scholarship I never sat for though I applied, then this happened again. The person I initially planned to use as my sponsor disappointed me, at that point I had to apply with someone else even if the fund isn't enough just to get disapproval so I can get my money I paid as tuition back...but God has a different view. Below is my timeline 3yrs Diploma program. Applied May 19th Biometric June 1st Upfront medical August 12th Medical passed August 26th Eligibility never ever started Sponsor Acc Bal. 5.9m Personal Acc Bal 1.6m. Made errors in my application as my sponsor names was totally different from my Mum surname I claimed to be her brother. Normal route and applied all by myself even before coming to this thread. No IELTS exam. Eligibility started Sep. 21st PPR dropped Sep 21st.[/quote
Congratulations! |

makano: Hello Bukun
Unfortunately, this is one of the "benefits" you get when you use an agent..
Agents do not carry their applicants along with their application, they tend to make you know everything is going on well, whereas things are not going on well with such application... And there is no how such applicants can know what's going on because this set of "Wicked people" have side-lined applicants from knowing anything that goes on with their applications..
I had an instance of an applicant that came crying to me that is there anything I can do that his application came with a 5 year Ban just because his agent was evil all through his application... His agent applied with a fake account and after some months IRCC sent the applicant PFL to explain the SOA he submitted, but because the applicant used an agent and he never knew what was going on, he didn't get the message but the agent got the Message and didn't do anything... It was when he ordered for his GCMS notes that he saw that IRCC had issues with the SOA IRCC requested for an updated SOA, and when he couldn't provide an updated SOA within the Timeframe, then IRCC landed him a 5 year Ban... I told him there is nothing I could do after a ban, as I am not the PM of Canada neither am I an MP.. I only guide applicants from start to finish in applying for their Study visa and getting it..
I am sure your agent didn't use your email to be getting info from IRCC, am sure he didn't give you ur UCI or application number... Just pray he hasn't done anything in your application that will warrant a ban..
I will advise you order for your GCMS notes to see and know what is actually going with your application and also to know if IRCC has requested for any document...
Truth be told, that agent will keep you in the dark all through the processing of your application..
Peace Pls I need guidance, I wrote my info here yesterday, @lekkiboboe replied with a detailed note on schools and programs but I need step to step guidance, I have registered for ielts (general) before I picked interest in studying. I learnt I don’t have to write ielts except I’m using NSE , to use NSE or not to ? What do I do next ? Should I register for the program to begin admission process? I wish to have someone I can reach out to when I need answers to certain questions. Pleasssse . @lekkiboboe I still need your help |

I’m dumbfounded. If this isn’t God then I don’t know who. No man can boost to be the doer. No fees paid, money in the account doesn’t even cover fees and the mandatory 10k cad. God showed up for me and I don’t take it for granted. About a week before submitting my application, a lump sum of 5million was deposited into my father’s account because before then the account was in almost zero balance. My father took out over 500k and I submitted the rest. The statement was printed 19th April and I submitted May 7th. After submission that was when I remembered I didn’t explain where the money came from in my SOP. God showed me mercy. While filling one of the IMM forms, the one that requires applicants to fill tuition, living expenses and others, I was really confused. After inputting my first year tuition fee and the mandatory 10k cad I didn’t even know what figure to put for others. This is because if I sum up all the figures, it will exceed my 4.4m POF. I sha added 2k cad for others or so. My bank statement wasn’t added. I graduated in 2015 didn’t add any work related stuff because I’ve been in between jobs and most didn’t align with my career asides from NYSC. The only thing I said in my SOP to cover my study gap and lack of personal funds was .. “I’m helping my father with my HR educational knowledge to grow his business”. So, the message was I’m working with my father. I Didn’t submit employment letter on this neither did I submit pay stubs. I wasn’t getting any serious pay because the firm is still growing. More like a family business. Age - 30years School - MUN
During the long wait I sent countless webforms and emails at some point I got scared because I guessed I was going overboard. I contacted different MPs none came through. However, my God showed up in his time.
After my BVL dropped on the 15th another wait began. I was confident God was perfecting it. So today I decided to send my new letter of acceptance. I had it for about a week now but didn’t want to send it till after approval. Same today my PPR dropped
If God can make this happen for me despite all my flaws then he can come through for anyone. If it’s about qualification, then I’m not close to qualified. Keep believing in him. In this journey radical faith is required. Absolute dependency on God. Everyone will testify soon. God doesn’t do abandoned projects.
Thanks to everyone helping on this thread. Every info I know was obtained here.MI did my application myself from start to finish, all from the infos I got here. May God’s reward be evident in your lives. For those delayed God needs you to trust him again. Those waiting your time is NOW. Amen
More testimonies loading. Amen In Jesus mighty name. Congratulations, did you write ielts? |

Lekiboboe: While you await the response of the gurus
As an HND degree holder, you can't go for a Masters in Canada cos they require a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2.1 with a strong last two years of study CGPA (e,g 400 L and 500 L CGPA)
Due to your age, you can't go for an Undergraduate degree.
Your best shot is to apply for a PG. CERT program related to media , journalism , communication, film production
That being said visit the links below and do your research on each programs, check the program overview, course curriculum (course outline of the program) admission intakes, tuition amount for international students etc. then apply for the one that suites you based on your academic background and work experience

If you are from NIGERIA, you don't need IELTS for admission, the IELTS requirement you see on Admission requirements of some programs are meant for Non-English speaking countries e.g Vietnam, India, China, Philippine etc.
But
if you know for your STUDY VISA APPLICATION, you want to go for the NIGERIA STUDENT EXPRESS (NSE) route, IELTS is needed
Good luck!!!! I tried sending a message.. I guess I need more time to study how this platform works . |
