For me, the sad thing is Ndigbo went all in with PDP for a long time, all they got back was VP candidacy for a Peter Obí that just turned up from APGA and had zero influence in anything.

At the very least, they should have pushed for more from PDP including a Presidential berth.

Considering how poor APC scored in the last Presidential elections in Aligbo and how that party won in the end, Mazi Kwankwo is right, Ndigbo need to do better as regarding who they align with politically.

Peter Obi may still inspire a passionate following, but passion is not preparation, noise is not nation-building, and excitement is not executive capacity. Nigeria needs more than a protest candidate in a polished shirt. It needs a leader with structure, discipline, coalition depth, and the hard temperament to govern a difficult federation.
