For me, the sad thing is Ndigbo went all in with PDP for a long time, all they got back was VP candidacy for a Peter Obí that just turned up from APGA and had zero influence in anything.
At the very least, they should have pushed for more from PDP including a Presidential berth.
Considering how poor APC scored in the last Presidential elections in Aligbo and how that party won in the end, Mazi Kwankwo is right, Ndigbo need to do better as regarding who they align with politically.
AMINDA: Okay, so since you have this information at your disposal, what is Tinubu doing about it. Was that the strategy he used against Jonathan with the Chibok girls while Shettima was governor of Borno state? Tell us more. Tinubu as C-in-C can declare a state of emergency in Rivers to suspend Fubara, deny him ticket and incarcerate Elrufai but he's suddenly powerless against his enemies using insecurity to discredit his government? The jokes write themselves.
I don't know what you are responding to but it certainty isn't my post.
By the way, President Tinubu didn't incarcerate anybody, the rule of law is slowly taking its course against an arrogant, entitled Fulani man. Hopefully, I will join Southern Kaduna people to rejoice whenhe gets his eventual comeuppance.
Anyway, Atiku is coming to win the elections ko, we look forward to him sorting out the security isdues
AMINDA: Jokes on you. Elrufai was hounded at the airport upon his voluntary return to the country by the DSS. That was even before his interview that you all now latch onto. He is also currently being held by the ICPC. Is it the mandate of the ICPC to prosecute such? It has always been part of Tinubu's plans to remove Elrufai out of the 2027 conversation because he lives in morbid feat of his capacity. But time is a gentleman.
Atiku hasn't won but the Fulani menace has even gotten worse under your tin-god and they are now spreading into the SW while Matawalle, his minister of defence, calls for more prayers. Maybe he's just incompetent.
In saner climes where they don't joke with internal security and people can't play the Fulani card, El Rufai would be in jail if not executed for high treason. You dare to bug such a senior official and then open your mouth to say it expecting nothing to happen to you, what effontery?
Once more, President Tinubu is not my anything. He, like Atiku, El Rufai and Peter Obi should not be allowed to continue in Nigerian politics as they are part of a useless political class.
The Fulani terrorists didn't just spread to the South West, they have been using the 8 years of President Buhari ineffectiveness on on that front to act as sleeper cells. They are just been activated by certain politicians, from a place you and I know, as a result of oncoming elections.
This your time is a gentleman threat means nothing to anyone, you need to stop with it.
jmoore: Tinubu forfeited thousands of dollars which were proceeds of drug trafficking. Oshiomole is talking about drug trafficking reputation.
Oshimole forced Monday Okpebhlo on Edo state, a governor that can't count 1,2,3.
We all know the plans of babablu to rig elections.
Ẹdo state prefers one that can't count 1,2,3, and that has turned Ẹdo stare into a construction site, to the technocrat that can count up to 1 billion but chopulated money shege banzai and left no tangible projects behind.
Whatever state you are from, you better pray they force someone like Akpakomezer on it.
AMINDA: Yes the SW gave Buhari 2.3m votes when the APC was formed and got repaid by the North. Under Buhari, Tinubu was also appointed the National Leader of the APC with Fowler, Dayo, Fashola, Aregbesola, and several other appointees from his camp. The SW also got Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Lagos-Ibadan Railway, Lagos International Airport terminal, Lagos-Badagry road, etc all completed by Buhari. How has Tinubu repaid the North? His first act as president was to betray Elrufai and he went further to incarcerate him for a bailable allegation. Next he followed with Kashim Imam, Malami, Ganduje, Badaru, Goje, etc. Virtually all APC members from the CPC bloc are also being witch-hunted and this happened immediately after Buhari’s sudden death. Northerners always repay their debts. Good or bad.
You are now relying on Tinubu's unprecedented interference and destruction of our democracy as a vehicle he will use to win re-election but you will be disappointed. Time is a gentleman.
First off, I am not a President Tinubu anything so your last paragraph is superfluous.
Do you know what El Rufai said for him to end up where he was? How is such a thing that has to do with the national security risk bailable?
El Rufai failed a security assessment, maybe he should have handed Southern Kaduna Christians a bit better to pass it, which is where his bitterness came from. Why should the President override such?
So if CPC people behave badly, they should be untouched. Did the ACN people behave badly during President Buhari's regime? Some of those names you mentioned are suspected as being in bed with Fulani kidnappers and terrorists, the government should ignore that as they are CPC àbi?
Northerners are welcome to repay debts, quite frankly, no one is scared of those threats. It was during President Buhari's ineffectual regime that bandits became untouchable, some being seen in state government houses.
We know if Atiku wins, the Fulani terrorists menace would be worse and they will become untouchable again, especially going by his deleted tweet on Deborah Samuels.
Once more, making out the North gave President Tinubu x amount of votes might be factually true, but that was payback for what the Southwest gave President Buhari in order to dislodge PDP. I don't recollect people trying to beat President Buhari over the head on that like you are doing.
One other thing, Shettima refused his VP lodgings as he claimed without proof that it wadls bugged, if they remove him over that treachery, you will add him to your list of CPC people betrayed, forgetting conviniently that Osinbajo as VP served President Buhari faithfully.
Sheuns: He didn’t get the Northern votes because APC is a mega party. He got the northern votes because of the likes of El Rufai that vouched for him.
What did his party ACN achieve when it ran for presidency in 2007 and 2011?
Did the votes gotten then make the candidates president?
Northern votes made Tinubu president and that’s a fact cos it’s glaring.
Do you understand how APC came about at all and what the basis of its formation was? Once they were formed, the same set of people, both North and South West have voted it to victory in Presidential elections.
El Rufai that is hated by Northern Christians vouched for who, when Buhari who is, or was, the leader of the Northern bloc was alive?
You are making my point with your reference to ACN and President Tinubu's failure at the polls till APC cane about.
I will reiterate, if President Tinubu was made president by Northern votes after years of trying, so was President Buhari made President by South Western votes after years of trying. And the common factor is the Mega Party APC.
The North are repaying a favour based on an agreement. That is the bottom line.
Of course they can break the agreement at any time, that's on them.
AMINDA: He was only able to do so because the North came through for him and gave him 5.6m votes. He would have been toast as he was totally defeated by Obi across the South, including in Lagos. But today you try to sell Tinubu as one kind of unbeatable candidate who made himself president. Time is a gentleman.
The reason the North gave him those votes was because he was in a Mega Party, the South West had also given their votes to President Buhari twice before as part of the formation of that party.
You are trying to make out that the North gave President Tinubu those votes without putting it in its proper context. That is quite wrong.
Don't forget President Buhari had been competing in CPC for a while and had failed.
I myself would be surprised if the current directionless opposition can beat President Tinubu. We shall see anyway.
MASTAkiLLAh: A retired general died in the custody of terrorist militias just few hours ago yet the problem vuvuzelas is still Peter Giringory Obi who came distant third in elections three years ago. When will you clowns ever set your priorities right ? A WHOLE GENERAL
So because a retired general died in custody hours ago, we must not talk about anything else, no one must discuss their concerns about a reckless statement made by Peter Obi.
Why not tell the owner of the site to lock all threads and only leave the ones about the retired general that died in custody.
franchasng: Most of the key players that worked under Buhari, who knew what happened have confessed in secret but you guys keep gallivanting around with this fabricated result.
Who are the key players that confessed and who did they confess to?
Until Obidients stop all this nonsense of claiming Peter Obi won in 2023, NDC will not win 2027. That complete falsehood lie needs to be packed up and stored away.
Ofunaofu: Who will stop Tinubu/APC's data boys from their endless abuse, curses, and insults directed at Peter Obi, Obidients and those seeking the good of this country, along with their toxic ethnic and tribal bigotry divisive campaign?
AlbertNewton: For obvious reasons, the vast majority of Nigerians are clearly dissatisfied with the Nigerian government, particularly the federal government headed by Bola Tinubu. And as a result of the enormous power a Nigerian president wields in determining and steering the direction in which the country ultimately moves, many people strongly believe that getting it right in electing the "best president" will turn the situation of Nigeria around for the better.
Peter Obi has presented himself as someone who has solutions to most of the problems bedeviling Nigeria, and many people (especially the youths) have come to see him as the Messiah Nigeria desperately needs before the situation of things degenerate further. Assuming Peter Obi will truly deliver on his words to bring about the Nigeria of our dreams, the challenge is how will Obi defeat an incumbent Tinubu (a political strategist who currently has the support of at least 33 sitting governors for his re-election, and essentially has the INEC and the judiciary under his control).
So if you know of any brilliant strategy or smart move Obi can use to defeat Jagaban in 2027 presidential election, kindly discuss it. I will find a way to get the best advice across to Obi.
It's nigh on impossible, not with Prof Utomi still marking him tightly.
If he can get his Obidients to stop with the needless abuse, curses and insults of those that don't think he is the messiah, that is a start.
Then stop his Obidients rejoicing when bad things happen in other parts of the country, that might help some.
DomPerignon: I just don't understand why the President will approve this rubbish waste of scarce resources.
I believe this is President Tinubu throwing a bone to Bianca which I agree is a nonsense but a politically astute move.
Next elections, Bianca might be able to throw this up as something the government has done for Ndigbo. I know she is in APGA but they have a tie in with APC.
Looks like an APC attempt to snatch some Ndigbo votes from Peter Obi and expect a bit more of this as we move closer to the elections.
Kanwulia: All you can do is proffer solutions if you don’t agree. I only presented a proposal and you are foaming from your eyeballs.
Please, if you have nothing constructive to contribute, buzz off. I don’t do herd-mentality threads.
That map is not a sensible solution to proffer and even you know it. If anything, you are just looking for trouble and comments knowing it is a non starter.
Ndigbo must have their own country made up of their 5 states as must Yoruba people too. That's is the very basic thing to happen.
Can someone please show Peter Obi the video of Ohamdike asking for funds to buy ammunition at the Igbo Congress meeting in the US?
Maybe also play the audio of him telling people to go and destroy Lagos in his Radio Biafra program.
Peter Obi is sabotaging himself but he is also playing to a script. These words will make him stronger in the SE, keep those votes away from Atiku and effectively give President Tinubu victory on a plate.
Prof Utomi, well done ó, we see ya hand as you sef don kwik reach dat NDC so!
tessycheers: The Ramat Park Flyover in Benin City, Edo State, is currently nearing 90% completion. As the first-ever flyover bridge built in Edo State under Governor Monday Okpebholo's administration, the signature infrastructure project has advanced into its final structural and finishing phases.
The project is moving well ahead of its original 18-month timeline and is expected to be fully commissioned ahead of schedule.

Wadoboy: It seems u just joined Nairaland? OP is a man........he is highly intelligent (education in Naija/UK/US)
His parents are well respected individuals in their field of study/profession.
So he is above 55yrs, nor be small pikin
He knows what he is doing, Obidients always think they can bully anyone to submission.
People like OP are highly professional in keep records, they will remind Obidients their mistakes
Shalom
SeeWahala is upset that he was blocked by Ọga naptu2, who I suspect is over 60 actually based on his Gregs years, it is that pain that is seeping out in the post.
He will grow out of it eventually, you hope anyway.
doncartel: You knew about us before came in so why the murmuring? If you don’t want us, let us know on time so that we can move to another party. The momentum is with us therefore any party we choose will certainly win the election.
You people were the ones that went to him, remember you had talks with PRP and SDP too.
Dem don see una Obidients finish, Kwankwaso got his way to protect his followers while Peter Obí didn't, so feel free to leave NDC, don't let the door hit you on the way out.
I don't know what momentum you think is with you Obidients but I can tell you for free that the only Parties that will want you are the kwe kwe ones. No serious group wants your needless noise and the BS you bring to the table.
Kanwulia: Then where was the Dickson before Obi joined? JEALOSY!😁
Because you provided a “platform” we should by slaves and face unnecessary insults? You must be dreaming. We are not slaves. We will continue to speak up. If Dickson does not like it, let him REFUND all the money he collected. We will continue to speak up.
Respect the platform you have been given and conform, at least in the early stages until you understand it better before trying to change it. Nothing slavish about that.
Dickson doesn't have to refund nada, you Obidients can go somewhere else that finds you attractive as he clearly no longer thinks you are.
You don't like the insults. Feel free to leave. After all, it's not like leaving Parties is a new thing to you people.
Continue burning bridges up and down the place, ṣebi that's what you people are good at.
Kanwulia: Tinubu is VERRRY insecure about OBI-KWAN, not to mention a non-entity like Dickson who was even less popular than Abure.😂
You go AISHA gurl! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾We will make sure ALL IMPOSED CANDIDATES LOOOOOOOOSE!!!🍷
LP will not happen to us twice.
WASTE THE VOTES!👍🏽
Per the bolded, Dickson is a non-entity but you Obidients needed his Party to give you a platform to try and achieve your political aim.
What does it make you and Peter Obí when a so called non-entity is so important to and weilds such power over you.
Instead of facing your front and covering that Obidient backside you are exposing, you are talking about President Tinubu, a man that probably still thinks you people are in LP, such might be how much he knows or cares about Obidients.
How exactly is Aisha too big for House of Reps? This entitlement mentality is completely off the scale.
In another person's Party that you joined yesterday, you are too big for a position you've been offered. A position in which you could have represented constituents and helped them benefit from the dividends of democracy, this is a position you are too big for.
I think she would have lost anyway. Senate ó, House of Reps o, but I guess there might be campaign funding money she wouldn't need to account for.
Mummy Aisha, that's what Obidients call you, you nor try at all!
If the Op is so knowledgeable o wonder why he's not running for office but busy hawking audio clean energy in the order of manna and freestuffs We know them. Political jobbers
I mean op has articulated things in an apt way I could never do.
CharlesCNG: 1. He inspires emotion, but he does not impose order. A president must control a coalition, not just excite a crowd.
2. He changes platforms too easily. A man still searching for a stable political roof should not be asking for the keys to Aso Rock.
3. He has enthusiasm, not enduring structure. Hashtags can trend, but only structure wins power and sustains it.
4. His support base often repels the allies he needs. A movement known more for abuse than alternatives shrinks its own coalition.
5. He speaks like a lecturer, not always like a coalition builder. Nigeria needs persuasion, not just presentations.
6. He rode a wave in 2023 but could not preserve the gains. Winning seats is one thing; keeping them under one roof is another.
7. He struggles to discipline loyalists. A man who cannot manage followers will struggle to manage a federation.
8. He benefits from protest energy, but protest is not governance. Anger can launch a campaign; it cannot run a country.
9. He is strongest in passion-heavy zones, weaker in broad national spread. Regional intensity is not the same as national viability.
10. He criticizes loudly, but the alternative often sounds thin. A president must offer more than complaint.
Peter Obi may still inspire a passionate following, but passion is not preparation, noise is not nation-building, and excitement is not executive capacity. Nigeria needs more than a protest candidate in a polished shirt. It needs a leader with structure, discipline, coalition depth, and the hard temperament to govern a difficult federation.
Good post, another one that aptly captures Peter Obí and his Obidients and the issues they have with reality.
Hope Obidients read this post too and change their ways.
Thanks once more for this post, articulated clearly in a way lesser mortals like us can.
naptu2: The biggest disadvantage that Peter Obi has is Obidients.
The biggest obstacle to Peter Obi becoming president is Obidients.
The biggest problem for Peter Obi is Obidients.
Obidients are a curse to Peter Obi.
Obidients destroy whatever Peter Obi tries to build.
Obidients are the biggest helpers to opponents of Peter Obi.
Obidients are working hard to ensure that Peter Obi never becomes president.
The job of Obidients is to fight with anybody that can help Peter Obi.
If Peter Obi never becomes president it will be because of Obidients.
Baba, at the risk of the usual suspects accusing me of sucking up to you, you have said it all.
I was only going to give your post a Like, then felt this was so apt a post that I had to respond, then saw it was you and my heart sank as I know they would accuse me of seeking favour from you, then realised I didn't need an Obidient to stop me doing what I actually believe in and want to do.
Every single word the truth and not wasted. If every Obidient saw this post and did some self introspection over it, Peter Obi might have a better Political career. I don't think they will allow that happen sha as their ego is too huge.
