Stephen0mozzy: So, yes, this is a counter thread to Sirchiboy's thread: https://www.nairaland.com/8672861/what-did-she-made-realize#139428130
And here's why
They say "bad news sells"; the truth is that there has been so much bad narratives about marriages, relationships, the gender wars that has now set a tone of distrust among young men and women. Guys have made idols of people who demonize women, and girls have found comfort in bitter women who think men are the devil.
But I dare say, there are beautiful marriages out there. There are awesome relationships out there that will seem to be out of a Disney movie; but they exist! Two mature and responsible adults who come together, shut off the noise and are willing to build something great.
So share, what did your wife/husband or fiance/fiancee do during your dating phase that made you say "THIS IS MY FINAL BUS STOP", and inside your stomach you were singing Ed Sheraan's song "I found the one for meeeee".
Share! She (successfully) pretended to be what she wasn't. This is not from me o, but the best answer I have heard to the question. |

South south is part of Biafra. During 2023 presidential election in Nigeria, the south south region voted for peter obi and the south east region voted for peter obi while the whole south west region voted for bola tinubu except Lagos state: so judge and tell me which south region is on the side of igbos Per your first paragraph, but Ndigbo should put mouth in Lagos matters àbi? WizardOfNG: Indeed. Grade A dullard. While constructive criticism of a government is good for democracy, which progressive citizen can side with opposition that only highlights negatives while remaining graveyard silent when positives are recorded?
We are hearing now that the second in command of ISIS has been eliminated in Nigeria. Can/will Obi, Atiku or Kwankwaso commend this development and praise the government to show that they are committed to the progress and good governance of Nigeria?
Let us wait and see if any out of the three will comment officially over the takedown of a terrorist who is the second in command of the most notorious terrorist group in the world. Don't forget Peter Obí is yet to maturely congratulate President Tinubu on the 2023 election win. I doubt he will ever congratulate the Nigerian Army on this. I am sure Donald Trump is taking notes on those not celebrating this. Atiku and Peter Obi, be mindful of being labelled terrorist sympathisers and do the needful. |

Radicalwarrior: Nigeria is at a crossroads once again. The storm clouds are gathering, and if the nation refuses to act decisively and justly, a second civil war may be inevitable. The exclusion of the South East — the homeland of the Igbo people — from the highest office in the land is pushing Nigeria to the brink. If the Igbo are denied the presidency in 2027, the consequences could be catastrophic. Not just politically, but existentially. Threats and bullying will never give Ndigbo the Presidency. Ndi Yoruba never smelt Presidency whilst Awolowo was around, the ones that came after his death like Abiola and President Tinubu knew how to reach out to others to get tk where they wanted. That is what Ndigbo needs to replicate, if not they will continue to be on the outside looking in. Also, all that time Ndigbo were giving their votes to PDP, why didn't they challenge that party to make their son or daughter a Presidential candidate. Once more, threats like this will not work, not in Nigeria. Prof Soludo and Bianca are working hard in the background to become President, that doesn't need to be derailed because Peter Obí has not played his cards right. |

SixSeven: They know the real result of the last election. It's now obvious Atiku wasn't second. Because I ask myself why Atiku is not more of threat than Obi. I now think that it was deliberate to not make Obi second so that his support base don't have false hope that he could have won the election. I challenge anyone to go and do the stats of election results in areas like army barracks, universities, highbrow estates etc and tell me who won. That is not a statistical representation of the whole result but I personally monitored the results across the country in these places. Why? These are areas where security or elite live so manipulation and thuggery is not likely here. I know my results, you can do your findings. I woke up to the announcement the next day and Naija magic Don happen. Yakubu, manage Ṣebi you monitored elections in certain places, oya show us your own figures nau. Let's see your results. Or we should only count elections from the places that favoured Peter Obí. In case you don't know, a messenger on an office has the sane one vote as his Ọga, that is the beauty of democracy. The more you Obidients harken back to delusionary views on the 2023 elections, the less likely Peter Obí will win in 2027. |

Because Okpebholo promised Tinubu 2.5 million votes, or because Edo people suddenly love Tinubu that much? Because APC are a strong party in Edo state. Also, Obidients were rude towards reverred Ẹdo institutions, both traditional and governmental, and at no point did Peter Obí caution them. What happens in the NW, NE and SW will depend on whether Atiku runs or not, malam El-Rufai and Makinde's disposition going forward.

Politics › Re: Number Of States Where Leading Presidential Candidates Secured 25% Of Valid Vote by aswani(m): 9:41am On May 14 |
DeLaRue: The minimum number of states a candidate must score 25% of votes in to be declared a winner is 24.
The chances of Mr Atiku scoring 25% in 24 is very slim, almost zero, as I can't think of a single Southern state where ADC will secure 25% of the votes, now that Mr Obi has left the party.
As for NDC, in 2023, Mr Obi and Mr Kwankwaso only secured 25% of the votes in a combined total of 17 states. That means they need an additional 7 states. NDC may secure 25% in Lagos, but nowhere else in the South West, and the North East where ADC will likely dominate. So, the party face a very tall order to reach the required threshold in 24 States.
APC will gain 25% in more Southern States than it did last time, and will secure 25% in almost all North Central states, and in 2 or 3 North East and North West states.
APC is still in poll position for the coming elections. All each Southern APC Governor needs to do is ensure that ADC's doesn't win 25% of the votes in their state. I agree with this analysis except you were silent on NDC and South South votes or assumed Peter Obí would hold his votes in the South South. I genuinely don't see a Peter Obi ticket getting that 25% anywhere apart from Delta state this time round. I can't see him winning any South South state either. |
