How would an Atiku Presidency end the marginalisation of Ndigbo in Nigerian politics? A President Tinubu presidency wouldn't do that either before certain people start again.

Obidients lack of abuse and insult of others will go a long way to end the marginalisation, sadly that wouldn't happen anytime soon.

They know the real result of the last election. It's now obvious Atiku wasn't second. Because I ask myself why Atiku is not more of threat than Obi. I now think that it was deliberate to not make Obi second so that his support base don't have false hope that he could have won the election. I challenge anyone to go and do the stats of election results in areas like army barracks, universities, highbrow estates etc and tell me who won. That is not a statistical representation of the whole result but I personally monitored the results across the country in these places. Why? Because APC are a strong party in Edo state. The Peter Obí effect showed in the last gubernatorial elections where his anointed candidate had a poor showing.

Also, Obidients were rude towards reverred Ẹdo institutions, both traditional and governmental, and at no point did Peter Obí caution them. The consequences of which would be laid to bare in the next Presidential election.

The answer is No. There is no party that Obidients are part of that will win Presidential elections in The Federal Republic of Nigeria, none!

I was going to make a similar point. Those places that NDC are fielding the candidates listed on this thread, they were firmly in Western Region and have never been part of the Lagos that is capital of Nigeria.

I hope you understand the structural composition of Nigeria politics?. The challenge NDC has at the moment is in the NW and NW and SW,excluding Lagos, Kano and Kaduna and Taraba.

Definitely not in Ẹdo, he won't even get 10% there. Rivers split between APC and PDP, nothing for him there either, Cross Rivers and Akwa Ibom, who knows.

The chances of Mr Atiku scoring 25% in 24 is very slim, almost zero, as I can't think of a single Southern state where ADC will secure 25% of the votes, now that Mr Obi has left the party.

As for NDC, in 2023, Mr Obi and Mr Kwankwaso only secured 25% of the votes in a combined total of 17 states. That means they need an additional 7 states. NDC may secure 25% in Lagos, but nowhere else in the South West, and the North East where ADC will likely dominate. So, the party face a very tall order to reach the required threshold in 24 States.

APC will gain 25% in more Southern States than it did last time, and will secure 25% in almost all North Central states, and in 2 or 3 North East and North West states.

APC is still in poll position for the coming elections. All each Southern APC Governor needs to do is ensure that ADC's doesn't win 25% of the votes in their state.

I agree with this analysis except you were silent on NDC and South South votes or assumed Peter Obí would hold his votes in the South South.

I genuinely don't see a Peter Obi ticket getting that 25% anywhere apart from Delta state this time round. I can't see him winning any South South state either.
