No matter what sowore says about kanu the East will not vote for him.

He is just trying to please them so that they can consider voting for him
And this, my friends, is the bottom line and absolute truth.

Sowore, who stopped any pretence of being an activist and Democrat ages ago, has spotted a chance at wrestling Ndigbo votes off Peter Obi and is making a serious beeline for it. No more, no less.

His activism has morphed into populism but na Naija we dey so nutin spoil.

This has actually turned out into an eye opening thread and answered some questions previously swirling in my head.

Walahi baba naptu2 and oga helinues, una two nor try sha, no wonder Kukutente23 suddenly started paying weird attention to my posts, you two had blocked him and as we all know, every troll needs to be fed.

Why would anyone be so upset they have been blocked to open a thread over it to prove to someone else that other posters are dictatorial?

Kukutente23, clearly if you had conducted yourself in a considered manner, which you clearly are capable of as going by some of the erudite words you use in your posts, those two would have engaged you in the same way to ensure a pleasant experience on here.

We don't have to support the same people, if we support anyone at all, to have intelligent discourse. I myself have been blocked by some, and wish some will block me, life will go on and must.

The problem with you obidients is the very low faculty of reasoning.

Tinubu worked with 2 reputable conglomerates one of which is Exxon Mobil no where he rose to become their chief auditor.
How so if he forged his cert ?
Your Obi is not fucking clean.
He had a shady past and still does.
He did drugs at UNN.
A runner of his is in jail in Lima prison, Peru who is shouting his name.
I don't know if all these things you accused Peter Obi of is true and in my humble neutral opinion, it would be great if you had proof and detailed them by sending links as to where we could source the information.

I just know that he promised to release his election expenses during campaigning, in order to show how much cleaner he is than others, then said Aisha will be in charge of collating it. Till today which is more than three years on, we are yet to see the expenses.
PoliticsRe: Stereotyping Northerners On Nairaland by aswani(m):
Redstorm:
It is becoming recurring habit for Nairalanders to make posts about a few misguided people in the north using captions like:
"Northerners protesting against war..."
"Northern politicians distribute..."
"Northerners this..."
"Northerners that..."

This has a sweeping effect of making it look like every northerner is either involved or is in full support of the misguided activity. It is an unfair stereotyping.

One never sees any thread on Nairaland about something negative happening in the south that begins with the caption:
"Southerners..."
"Easterners..."
"Westerners..."
It is usually well captioned to make it very clear that not everyone in the south is involved but just a few misguided individuals.

So why is the news or stories on Nairaland about the north always biased?
It is an Obidient thing.

By di way, you neva see anytin o, wait till Atiku defeat Obi den come choose Amaechi as VP, you go run comot from dis place wen Obidients start dere wahala.

PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Has Been Fooling Nigerians For Too Long by aswani(m): 9:51pm On Mar 16
truthera:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcIa1iIqqS0

I am surprised that as an igbo man, Peter Obi has not learnt any lesson from his undying quest to rule over the British contraption called NIGERIA.... Sowore has a point, why has Peter Obi continued to dine with the establishment, those who were instrumental to the current terrible situation Nigerians find themselves as he jumps from one party to the other.... Peter Obi although admired by many Nigerians over his frugality especially while he was a governor, has continually demonstrated that he lacks leadership discipline, principle required to stand firm and stand out from corrupt elite class of politicians like Atiku, Amaechi and co.... who are tested treasury looters.... If by a miracle, ADC party wins in 2027, I do not see Peter Obi and other APC/PDP defectors offering any revolutionary changes towards addressing the problems Nigerians face given that many them in ADC have nothing to offer as they only decamped to ADC in their quest for power because they lost out in their former APC/PDP political parties.

Personally, I don't understand how Peter Obi in his widest dreams thinks that the evil cabal holding down the contraption that detests the igbos will somehow trust him an igbo man with presidential powers? It is sad to see that Peter Obi wants to run again 2027, clearly showing he hasn't learnt any thing yet or he knows but chooses to live in self-denial of the fact that him and his people the igbos are marginalized and not welcomed as long as Nigeria's presidency is concerned. Many Nigerians from other tribes pretending to love him, showing support for his political ambition now will in 2027, just like 2023 election, exhibit their true colors as the underlying reality of Nigerians sectional tribal barbaric sentiments will once again rear it's ugly head to deny him justice if he eventually emerges as a presidential contestant and a potential winner in the election.....

There is no way to sugarcoat the painful reality that awaits Peter Obi because he will once again lose in 2027 if he runs.... It won't be his fault because that is how Nigeria national politics is designed by those who own it. No igbo man will ever be allowed to rule the contraption even if Nigerians vote such individual. He will be denied and rigged out if he wins. Peter Obi is setting himself up again for another futile political adventure, if he succeeds in becoming his party's flag bearer, he will once more be made to face the bitter reality of Nigeria's brazen injustice and lawlessness.....

I will once again share my recommendation here, I hope if anyone reading this will relay to Peter Obi which is that he will go a long way in helping Nigerians if he stops wasting his effort everyday publishing press statements against the evil government on pages of newspapers, collapse his presidential ambition and instead use the international goodwill/platform he enjoys now to champion the cause for a total restructuring (Total Decentralization) or dissolution of Nigeria.....

Nothing good will come from an igbo presidency if by accident it happens as it will only further polarize and sectionalize the already divided country. If Peter Obi truly cares, wants lasting peace and progress for all indigenous people in the country, pursuing Nigeria's decentralization/disintegration is the surest way to make a big positive contribution in the lives of all Nigerians..... Peter Obi just like other Nigerian selfish politicians who know this to be true will be setting himself up for another big disappointment in 2027.....
You forgot to add the explicit Nnamdi Kanu "jara" tenuous link to the post.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RH1wb-L7z1I&pp=ygUnSG93IGEgTmlnZXJpYSBjb2xsZWN0ZWQgVGludWJ1IGZvb2QgYm94

A Nigerian woman goes viral after unboxing the food palliative boxes she received — reportedly linked to President Bola Tinubu and APC supporters. In the clip, she boldly declares:
“I have collected Tinubu’s boxes of gifts. Let me show you what’s inside. I will eat it, but I will still not vote for him. It’s my money. I am paying taxes. He cannot use this to take away the future of my children.”
Watch as she opens the branded cartons to reveal everyday staples: bags of rice, vegetable oil, noodles (Golden Penny brand spotted), and other basic items distributed as "Renewed Hope" relief amid Nigeria's ongoing economic hardship.
This moment perfectly captures the current mood — many Nigerians are accepting short-term handouts (seen as their own tax money returned) while refusing to let it sway their vote in the upcoming elections. Is this smart resistance or just survival? Comments are divided: some call it "chop but no sell your future," others slam it as disguised vote-buying.

What do you think — would you collect it and still vote your conscience? Drop your take below
I will also collect it but take it to the nearest charity place, add money on top and move on with my life, not once going on social media to make noise about anything.

Also I will note vote President Tinubu.
PoliticsRe: Fraud And Violence Can Never Create True Leadership —Peter Obi by aswani(m): 8:40pm On Mar 16
shortgun:
The Attack on Democracy in Bakassi

What occurred at the ADC office in Bakassi, Cross River State, is not merely an attack on a political party; it is an attack on democracy itself. When thugs can storm a party office and destroy property without facing arrest, it reflects how dangerously low our democratic standards have fallen.

In the current state of Nigeria, what can we expect when leadership standards have plummeted to the extent that qualification, certification, and credibility are no longer deemed necessary for public office? The ability for individuals to present forged certificates for election sends a troubling message to our society. If we continue down this path, violence may become the future of our democracy.

We must recognize that fraud and violence cannot create true leadership; they will only result in chaos. This chaos will ultimately affect us and our children.

A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Hopefully, those Obidients that disrupted whatever it was that Ṣeyi Tinubu was doing in Imo state will bear this in mind.

Despite being clearly written by an Obidient, it is an interesting, informed article and well presented for the most part.

Peter Obi for example has no national appeal as stated in the article.

However, the most interesting part of his being in ADC is that what's in it for him especially now that he is mandated to stay put there if he is part of the Primaries process?

PoliticsRe: Appeal Court Dismisses David Mark’s Appeal — Is There Still Hope For ADÇ by aswani(m): 9:07am On Mar 15
The thing underlying this is the inherent greed that constitutes the being of all these former PDP people now in ADC to pave a path for Atiku's presidentcy.

They have chopulated Atiku's money over and over again in PDP. Instead of them to share enough Atiku money to go round existing ADC exco's, knowing they are going get even more from Atiku during primaries, they are being miserly and expecting the original ADC people to accept such

If not for longer throat, should David Mark, whose daughter is in APC, not be resting somewhere by now enjoy the money he and his PDP goons looted while in government.
