Koiki further disclosed that Igboho was no longer being sought by Nigerian authorities, attributing the development to sustained royal interventions, political goodwill and persistent advocacy by Yoruba leaders within and outside the country. And this, my South Eastern friends is how to have power (and sense) and silently show it. Even though I myself think Sunday Igboho should now be in jail locked up for various acts of thuggery in elections in Yorubaland, from NURTW to gubernatorial, can you people see now? For the crimes of killing Ndi Fulani and boasting about it, Security agencies went to his house and were shot at and injured, he ran off to Cotonou. Despite threats from Buhari, Ndi Yoruba quietly allowed him to stay in "jail" over there, when the heat died, he was whisked off to Europe. Over there, he claimed he went to Downing Street to hand over a petition for dissolution of Nigeria with fake pictures. Igboho is now back in Nigeria roaming freely and being feted by his people. He will hopefully get his comeuppance at some point for those election violence crimes. No gra gra, nothing. Maybe South East should learn from West how to agitate and ensure your backers keep you out of jail and roaming around as a free man. |

The man I worked with that shoots glamour, what project do you think I was working with him on?😑
No, sorry no DMs on this subject.
No, nobody thought anything being done onset was sexxy, nobody was turned on. It is a job, cashing our paychecks gets people more excited than shooting on camera.
Nope, the female model was not a physical hottie. She was blonde, a US size 8 with pudgy stomach and like I said, they all need body makeup because HD is very unforgiving.
Even the Nigerian model I met in December last year with unbelievably hot bikini shoots, you'd have though she was lying if you met her in person: in Balogun market, wearing hat, tights and baggy tee-shirt. Good lighting, makeup, Burmese curl wig 30" and PhotoShop issamazing!
Camera angle for men makes objects appear bigger than they really are.
When they get on set, most of the actors and actresses haven't worked with each other before. Most don't like to hang out with each other off-work period. They exchange small talk, get to work, some will bring book to read or space out on their phones or be hustling for more work. They wear bathrobes when the camera is off and only take it off when it is time to work. Strangers pretending to be turned on.
They'll lie in interviews and say how hot and passionate it was to shoot their movie because that's what you the paying customer wants to hear: a fantasy.
Condom usage is high. The reason you don't see it is... post-production. If there is a medical outbreak, the industry has to shut down for a month and people lose income. So they are safe on set, however they know their viewers want an unsafe fantasy, so stuff is edited out in post-production. The unsafe sets are the sleazy directors and studios who are looking for broken-down people desperate to do anything to get money.
The most important thing to have on set (in the USA) is your recent medical test certifying that you're free from most STDs. That and lube.
Seriously, it is NOT a glamorous job, nobody wakes up and wants to do it...not even the OnlyFans girls making big bank, a lot are pushing the lifestyle because they make easier money recruiting new girls than shooting.
It is soul-crushing and destroying. That fantasy is built on a lot of moral destruction. My point was you yourself haven't worked on porn sets which was the impression the other poster had. You've worked on the set of other types of films and your information is second hand. Most of what you said I myself already knew from documentaries, make up artistes are making a good living on porn sets, good for them. It's escapism, same as movies and soaps. The industry is full of slime balls making a lot of money at the expense of others, sounds familiar doesn't it. |

So because you read some write up, you feel you could just dish it out without carefully reading my submission.
I said the secretary of state can grant honorary award (which resembles citizenship, without legal status) to any person they feel is deserving of it, because it's an independent office QED
Even the governors do not have the rights to grant citizenship of any kind except the federal law makers
You should be arguing from the point of legal implications of attempted impersonation; can enlightened citizens or persons within the state of Georgia, risk legal action to forge the seal of the secretary of state? Stop conflating, citizenship ó, award ó, secretary of state cannot give anybody. Governor can honor people on behalf of the state, same as Mayor can give keys of their cities to person(s) as an honour. I don't have to argue about attempted impersonation or forgery, I know this BS is exactly that, absolute BS. |

Broveens42: How do you call something fake because an honorary award was not uploaded in some website? That's why it's called honorary. But I'm suspecting you didn't go through the 4 walls of a reputable institution to think people posing in that picture and whomever they represent, would risk legal action by writing the following below:
“In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of my office, at the State Capitol, in the City of Atlanta, this 16th day of January, A.D. 2026.”
Education in Nigeria is dead!!!! I didn't go through any walls of any institution but I know this: 1) Raffensperger is a Secretary of state and not the Governor of Georgia so can't award honorary citizenship. 2) The person in the picture handing over the Junk piece of paper isn't the aforementioned Raffensperger. The picture description didn't even mention their name. 3) The event wasn't held at the official state house as there are no pictures of official dignatories, it was held in some tacky restaurant, probably Nigerian. 4) The capital of Georgia is not Atlanta, might be Athens and I believe that's where both their legislature and government house are. 5) Such a thing would definitely have been on the Georgia government website, both text and pictures, and links will come from there, not from an Igbo history Facebook page. You can delude yourself all you want, the news is fake and you people exciting yourself over it need need to think again. You are partially right on one thing though, for this to be believed by some, Education is dead in some parts of Nigeria. |

Af0nja2: This morning, a post appeared on the frontpage of Nairaland, titled "US state, Georgia grants Nnamdi Kanu honorary citizenship"
(See https://www.nairaland.com/8605231/us-state-georgia-grants-nnamdi)
According to the post, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has been granted honorary citizenship of Georgia, a state in the United States.
Kanu is currently serving a life prison sentence at the Sokoto Prison after he was convicted on terrorism charges filed against him by the Nigerian government.
Since this news came out, I have been reading diverse opinions concerning the fate of MNK, with many of his supporters and loyalists jubilating that he might soon be released.
A particular comment stated that "as a US citizen they can negotiate his release through prisoners exchange".
Continuing, he said "may be Nigeria will release him for hush puppy to be released or any other Nigerian serving US prison term"
Unfortunately for the poster, this is no correct!
U.S. honorary citizenship is a purely symbolic, lifetime honor bestowed by Act of Congress on foreign nationals of exceptional merit.
It conveys no legal rights, privileges, duties, or immigration benefits—such as a passport, the right to vote, or permission to live in the U.S.
Below are the key aspects of U.S. honorary citizenship
1. Symbolic Nature: It is a ceremonial recognition of outstanding contributions, not a legal status.
2. No Rights: Recipients cannot vote, run for office, or obtain a U.S. passport.
3. No Immigration Benefits: It does not grant the right to reside in the U.S. or provide any special immigration benefits for the recipient or their family.
4. No Obligations: It does not impose any U.S. duties, such as taxes or jury duty.
5. Distinction: Unlike regular naturalization, no oath of allegiance is required.
In summary, it is a high-level gesture of friendship and respect from the U.S. government that does not change the recipient's legal relationship with the United States.
Naptu2, Seun, Lalasticlala It was reported as the US state of Georgia, not the US itself. Regardless, it was totally fake as there is nothing in US websites or reputable Nigerian ones. Also, secretary of state of a state cannot give anyone anything, that's the Governor's job. Once more IPOB lobbying gone wrong as the've lost money and all for nothing. |
