A young girl with the name Famatta ended her life due to the fact that her boyfriend, James left her for her best friend.

She allegedly stabbed herself on the stomach but left a note behind for her family to be aware of her reasons.

A close source to the deceased, who posted the sad incident on his social media account and swears it happened, disclosed that prior to her demise, she couldn’t take the fact that the man she loved with the whole of her heart could leave her for her friend.

The note reads: “My boyfriend left me because of one of my friends yesterday, on 26 day. I think this is the best I can do to end this madness. God please forgive me and forgive James, my boyfriend. Thanks. The late Famatta.”

The surviving member of the three-man robbery gang that robbed a Police Inspector after he withdrew some money in a bank in the Idimu area of Lagos State, Jafar Ismail, has told police operatives that his gang normally get information on any customer who withdraws a huge sum of money from a staff in the bank.Ismail and his gang members had attacked the officer identified as Inspector Musa, on Monday, August 1, 2016, shortly after he walked out of the bank, shooting him in the jaw before snatching his money.

But luck ran out on them while escaping on a motorcycle as a police team confronted them and in the gun battle that ensued, two of his partners in crime were shot down.

During his confession, Ismail said that the bank staff invited them when Inspector Musa was making his withdrawal and gave them his description.

“We have a bank staff, who usually informs us whenever any customer withdraws huge amount.

We would position our motorcycles around the bank and wait for the customer. Immediately we sight the person, we would ride our bike close and snatch the money. We usually shoot if the person put up resistance."At the end of any operation, we would give him (the banker) the largest share and share the rest among ourselves.

We were told that this particular customer withdrew over N300,000, but we were not successful as police got us.”

There was pandemonium earlier today after a young man was shot dead at Imo state University, Owerri,IMSU, by suspected cultists.
The police in Imo state have confirmed the identity of a fresh graduate of Imo state University, Owerri, IMSU, who was murdered in his cold blood by fleeing gunmen mid Tuesday.
The police confirmed his identity to be Obrin Ibekwe, a newly graduated student who was doing his clearance in preparatory for the mandatory one year National Youth Service corps, NYSC, program. Ibekwe was gunned down inside a gutter at the back gate area of the University around 2:5pm Tuesday.
The police who said that they have condoned off the area, have evacuated his lifeless body to the morgue, while investigation has been launched to ascertain the reason for the senseless killing.
