dvkot: Most native Android games are trash. Everyone knows that. But the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt (Nintendo Switch version) runs on Android and it is miles ahead of any Android game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u--xCiNOCvk The best game you can get on mobile is the best game that your phone can emulate.

dvkot: If a phone has access to the same power supply that a console has, why would it? Can a console run without being plugged in to electricity? A phone can. Both will over heat the same way. The only difference is that a console has a fan and phone doesn't although there's cheap add ons (small cooling fans) that one could easily get and install. |

wahalaO: It's not Nokia that's dishing out lower midrangers. It's a company called HMD Global. They're only borrowing the Nokia brand name to sell their toys. The real Nokia only does 5G network connection now. |
Phones / Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by atheistandproud(m): 4:04pm On Jul 12, 2023 |
dvkot: Who says I don't. Consoles vary in strength depending on the hardware used. Any 32-bit entry level to lower Midrange smartphone can easily emulate game consoles from the 5th and 6th generation of Video Game consoles. Where we start seeing real power is from the 7th generation (XBox 360 and PS3) to the present day (excluding Nintendo's hybrid consoles). |

dvkot: Actually they can and they have been performing at a good level for a while now. Just like PCs, it's your hardware that will determine your playability and experience. If you carry Spark 10 Pro say you wan go emulate PS2 or Nintendo Switch, hot tears will await you. But if it's PS1 or Nintendo 64 or even Sega Genesis, ehen then you'll flex the gameplay. |
Phones / Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by atheistandproud(m): 3:55pm On Jul 12, 2023 |
dvkot: The Spark 10 Pro is on the level of the Redmi 12 and 12c, not even the Redmi Note 12 or 12S, na you come dey call F5. Even the F2 will take the 10 Pro to the cleaners and back, twice on a Wednesday. 8 Likes 1 Share |

omasanbobo: With an emulator, all you need is your phone and controller. With a console, you'll need: 1. A TV or monitor 2. Electricity 3. Wires for TV to console connection (AV, RF or HDMI) Emulators are very convenient and can be taken with you on the go. A lot of them output better graphics than the OG consoles. |

@dvkot Emulation is bridging the gap between consoles and smartphones. The Switch, PS2, PS1, Wii U, Dreamcast etc are all running on smartphones. Next up is PS3, but they're still working on it. Smartphones will catch up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yd7557M99Ws |

Angelfrost: The informal economy which makes up, dare I say over 70% of all business transactions in this country is running on fumes (credit). Why? Because the rich don't spend here. It's the middle class that did. The middle class are the ones that spread the wealth around. I remember all the shops that sprang up around and outside our estate because of the people inside. Provision stores thrived, barbing salons, arcades, convenience and utility stores etc. These businesses are all dead as we speak and the buildings lie empty. Our economy is dying. The death of the thriving middle class in the late 2000s is a harbinger of doom that should have us quaking in our boots. 6 Likes |

Angelfrost: You're always a wise man. The middle class in areas in my city has been obliterated into oblivion. Many people don't understand the magnitude of the trouble we're in. All the middle class neighborhood that I grew up in and frequented in the late 90s up till the late 2000s are now fragmented into single rooms and bedsitters. 3 bedroom bungalows don turn barracks. Well kept estates don turn barracks and I weep. I have a deep pain in my heart Angel Frost when I see these places. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

VeeVeeMyLuv: Nah... There's always been inflation. I grew up to use 50kobo coins bro. I was given 50kobo and 1 Naira coins to primary school. I watched as they disappeared and inflation took us up to N5 and N10 notes. All of this happened before 2003 and there was a lot of complaining but people still happily got married. Right now, N50 is almost worthless. It cannot even buy common pencil again. Na only purewater and that's because it's at N30. I see no reason why a man who earns N100k regularly cannot get married and live in a simple room and parlour self contain if he sets aside 10 to 15k monthly for rent (depending on the area). Buys foodstuffs in bulk and cuts down on unnecessary expenses. But to many women this kind of lifestyle is beneath them. 12 Likes |

Lol The problem is hoeflation. A phenomenon where every woman wants to live the baby girl life that they see on TV or social media without realizing that it's unrealistic. It's all fake. Earning honestly is frowned upon, doing all sorts of sharp practices is tacitly encouraged. 9 Likes |

FRANCISTOWN: I was bible *trained from a very young age by JWs. I finished My book of Bible stories and graduated to Questions Young People ask and finished it before 2004. I have been reading the Bible (Gen to Rev) since 2000 and I was selected as designated bible reader in my parents church at the tender age of 7. It was a big attraction. I had a special chair near the front and a mic to myself. I felt like a King. 😂😂😂 As a teenager, I was the head of my teens department from 2008 to 2012 in RCCG, Daystar Model Parish. There's nothing about the bible that any currently practicing Christian can tell me that I do not already know. 4 Likes 1 Share |

blahc007: I had a girlfriend like that too. Initially she was very agreeable but as soon I took her home to see my mom and I spoke to her mother, she became something else. She would fight me (verbally) at every turn. We would agree something, she would change her mind and implement changes without even consulting me. She would argue every point, fight for every dotted i's and crossed t's, challenge and second guess every decision. Initially, her mom was like she's young and that she'll grow as she was 22 at the time. By the time she turned 25 and was even worse, I cut myself loose after a bitter argument about keeping males and exes as close friends. I had to mentally delete her number from my head and block her so that I wouldn't succumb to weakness and call. It's been 2 years now and bloody hell, that's the best thing I've done in the last 3 years. Men know but we go dey form superman not knowing that we are dealing with very powerful beings. There are some things that Dem no dey manage for marriage. 3 Likes |

Meh Didn't you court her before marriage? Please ladies and gentlemen, whatever red flags you see in courtship will not improve in marriage. They'll only get worse. 10 Likes 2 Shares |
