Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has described President Muhammadu Buhari as one who is caged.
Mbaka, the spiritual director, Adoration Ministry, Enugu, said this during an exclusive chat with the publisher of SaharaReporters and 2019 presidential aspirant, Omoyele Sowore.

“Buhari meant well for the country but I can see Buhari as a man whose ideologies has been kidnapped, I can see somebody that is bemused, I can see a man that is confused, I can see Buhari in spite of his goodwill he has some people around him that his no ideology that is in tandem with his,” he said in parts.

“When I was telling Jonathan and Co, they can’t come back instead of believing, they started attacking me and God says the chair is vacant Buhari will take over, I never knew who Buhari was. They accused me of being sponsored by Buhari and God knows until now Buhari has never given me One Kobo.

“Am not against his leadership because he has not given me anything, am only unhappy with him because he doesn’t want to make necessary changes.
“The much I know about Buhari is he meant well, but it’s too unfortunate that he is caged by people who are not telling him the truth.”

9News Nigeria recalls that on 2018 New Year day, Fr. Mbaka who had anointed Buhari as President in 2015, asked him not to run for a second term in office, he said:

“I’m asked to advise you, don’t come out for the second tenure; after this, and retire peacefully. Come back to yourself or you will cry by the time you will be sent out of office. Those who are encouraging you to come out and run again want to disgrace you shamefully and publicly.”
“The country needs change, as I said Buhari is a good man but because of a lot of factors around him, those around him are not telling him the truth, even when they tell him the truth and he gives orders they go and mutilate it and tell him that everybody is happy and that everything is moving well.

“We need God to give us someone after his own heart, who can emancipate Nigeria, because Nigeria is the heart of Africa, is the hub of Africa forget about South Africa or whatever she is doing. Nigeria is Africa because when Nigeria is good, Africa is good.

How did he get in the pool? Were there no adults to monitor him? For a child to have drowned in a pool, it means he was inside it for at least two minutes and somehow, no one was close enough to pull him out. Why?

These are the kinds of death that are investigated in certain parts of the world because there are signs of negligence. Nobody would care if it was your child, someone was careless and a life was lost in the process.

I'm both shocked and livid that a child so young, died because of an avoidable accident in his own home.

The parents should be sent to 5 years imprisonment, 2 years house arrest and compulsory parental course.

Take it or leave it,Freeze is a biased fellow.Nigeria is having challenges in all facets of life,religion,administration,sports,development and all.I am not in a situation to judge him or the churches on tithes.My problem with Freeze is that he thinks he is superior because of his mixed race.I listened to him once saying that he pitied Nigeria basketball team after the 2012 Olympics because of the record created with the team by USA team,on another ocassion he talks about the development in Romania as compared to Nigeria.

I watched the last press conference and I tell you trump was on point calling out all the hate groups

150 years ago, Americans ended a conflict that tore their great nation apart. Hundreds of thousands of men on both sides gave their lives in that conflict. This great war ended slavery. To heal the divided nation, the people who actually fought each other in that conflict came together and agreed to honor all the fallen, regardless of which side they fought. Battlefields became landmarks, monuments to soldiers, regiments, generals, etc, were erected and protected so that they would not forget this great lesson of history.
One hundred years later, during the Civil Rights movement, the black people who actually suffered under government discrimination and segregation rose up and peacefully protested, and with the help of the majority of white people in the nation, overturned the Southern Democrats and Klansmen, bringing about Civil Rights. During this movement, the monuments of the Civil War were not torn down. The blacks of that time were not fighting that old war, but the problems of their own generation.
Today, there are people that never suffered segregation or fought in any war against slavery calling for the removal of monuments. This is a great dishonor and disservice to those people who actually fought those battles but came together to heal.
It would be like finding out that your great grandfather had cheated on your great grandmother early in their marriage, but had reconciled and lived happily together for 70 years, then were buried side by side...but you get angry and have your grandfather's body exhumed and moved.
Fix the problems of your own time...do not relive or re-fight battles that have already been done. Be accountable for your own actions and learn from history - do not destroy or try to erase it. There's nothing to be gained from rehashing those battles , its history!
