OfoIgbo: Neither EZE nor CHIMA is an Edo word. They are both clearly Igbo words.
So this still proves my point. Igbo was a major language throughout Edo land and Yoruba land many centuries ago.
The Eze Nris crowned the Obis of Onitsha, up until the 1960s. It was never done by the Obas of Benin.
The about 66 Igbo kings that existed before the advent of the white man were all crowned by Eze Nris, and were ALL of NRI ancestry.
NRI people only crowned kings of NRI or Eri (e.g Igala) ancestry. The priority was obviously given to kings of NRI ancestry as they are descendants of Eri's firstborn and royal cum priestly lineage.
That is why I know Obas of Benin and Ogisos of Igodomigodo have/had NRI blood, otherwise Eze Nris wouldn't have been crowning them No Eze crown king in Igodomigodo, it is Oniha that crown our king. Eze Chima is from Igodomigodo, yes we speak Igbo in Igodomigodo the reason we birth Igbo. Igbo is spoken in Igodomigodo till date. Arochukwu, Ohafia, Oguta, Oru, Ututu, Abam etc are all Idu children from Igodomigodo. |

HigherEd: Breaking! CHRIST EMBASSY TO BUILD WORLD CLASS MEGA HOSPITAL
Ground Breaking Ceremony Kicks off Construction of LoveWorld Medical Center by Trauma Care International Foundation
Multi-specialty hospital to provide quality community healthcare, catering to trauma and emergency victims.
On Tuesday, September 22, 2020, the Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF) kicked off the construction of a world class multi-specialty hospital; the LoveWorld Medical Center. The special ground breaking ceremony which took place at the LoveWorld Crusade Grounds, Aseese, along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Southwest, Nigeria, was well attended. The foundation embarked on this project in recognition of the need for adequate in-facility care for trauma and emergency victims, strategically siting the hospital along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway — the busiest interstate route in Nigeria — which is used by over 250,000 passenger car units on a daily basis.
Trauma injuries are among the top 10 leading causes of death globally, and they are usually associated with significant morbidities and subsequent disabilities in many of those affected. The Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF); a member agency of the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International has through the years focused on improving trauma management and emergency response services in Nigeria. TCIF has achieved this through its numerous initiatives which promote enhanced pre-hospital care and first responder education, its voluntary blood donation programs and community based health projects.
Dignitaries led by the Chairman of the occasion, the highly esteemed Rev. Tom Amenkhienan, officially flag off the construction of the medical center.
Studies have shown that on the average, 12 people die every day from traumatic accidents in Lagos State. This explains the need for such a facility which will cater to the health needs of those in surrounding communities while providing a point of care to victims of trauma and emergencies along the expressway and across Lagos and Ogun States.
While delivering his speech, the Chairman of the auspicious event, the highly esteemed Rev. Tom Amenkhienan, (Member of the CEC), expressed profound gratitude to the man of God, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome for the vision of the multi-specialty hospital. He said it is a laudable gesture as it will contribute significantly to the care of critically ill patients, and mark a new beginning in trauma and emergency care in Nigeria.
In her address at the special ceremony, the Chairman of the Trauma Care International Foundation, Dr. Deola Phillips, heralded the hospital as the LoveWorld Nation and the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International's significant contribution to nation building, and as part of a strategic plan to ensure definite improvements in the state of trauma care and emergency response in Nigeria.
Eminent dignitaries that graced this occasion were some members of the Central Executive Council of the Loveworld Nation, members of the TCIF Board, the representative of the Ogun State Commissioner for Health, Dr Kudus, Dr Adelakun, Director Ogun State Ambulance and Emergency Services ably representing the Permanent Secretary Ogun State Ministry of Health, the Baale of Aseese and executives of the Community Development Council, media practitioners and other distinguished guests.

OfoIgbo: Nwokem, history is not about making empty claims. It is so easy to make a totally false claim that Eri came from Igodomigodo.
What proper historians do, is to check that statement against available facts.
The core facts that exist at the moment is that Igodomigodo used 4 NRI market days dedicated to NRI deities. This alone proves who influenced who and possibly, who came from where.
NRI people will not install you as a king without those market day deities, and the king-elect honouring these deities.
Portuguese have already made it clear some of the activities of the kingdom TO THE EAST OF BENIN towards Benin.

Do you know the meaning of IGODOMIGODO? 80 percent of Igbo are our Idu children from Igodomigodo. They all migrated from Igodomigodo, and met ibibio, Efik and some Igalas there. For instance, Onitcha Ado na Idu |

OfoIgbo: You see what I'm talking about. You keep making unsubstantiated claims. You wrote that no one was in the SE as far back as the 11th century, meanwhile Igbo-Ukwu archaeological bronze-work findings were dated to about the 9th century. And by the way, the Igbo-Ukwu findings have already been ascribed to the Nri people.
The Nri people established Oraeri who are the real owners of the Igbo-ukwu findings, and recognized as an offshoot of the Nri hegemony.
Now get it again from me, that Nri people established Oraeri and Igodomigodo, and vestiges of Nri civilisation remain in Benin till today, most especially the 4 market days.
Igodomigodo is an Nri establishment. This fact can so easily be proven. Once again, Nri-Igbos have been around for way longer than you can imagine Did I wrote 11 century, Eri our son founded Nri kingdom in 9 century AD.. sorry. All Igbo communities were set up by our Idu children from Igodomigodo. They didnt migrate the same time. |

OfoIgbo: Igodomigodo was an ancient kingdom, currently succeeded by Benin.
It had Nris, Ikas, Edo's e.t.c in it
It was really set up by the Nris and the original royal household was from NRI, the Ogisos. The ancient NRI kings crowned the Ogisos, and this practice carried on to the Oba era.
I believe Oranmiyan's descendants are most probably of the Ogiso lineage otherwise the Eze Nris would not have been crowning the oba, as that would have been supporting usurpation.
Afa would have revealed the tainted bloodline. For the Nris to be crowning Benin Obas up untill relatively recently, means that the Obas are originally of the Nri-Ogiso bloodline Eri who founded Nri Kingdom and the so called progenator of Igbo race is our son. Idu son in Igodomigodo. A son cannot give birth to his father, and you dont crown kings in Igodomigodo. Ogiso is sky king. Orominyan is a Yoruba man not Ogiso bloodline |

You mean Bini, Esan, Etsako and Ife? Ife people are from Osun State with their Oba 20%. Indegenous people are the remaing 80% who didnt fled Igodomigodo over centuries. Some Binis, 80% though I have reservations for that name ''Bini". Igbanke, Ijaws, Urhobos, Isoko and Ika. Esan, Esako, Unemen people of Igala, etc. Left Igodomigodo in Ogiso period, others left during Oba tyranny. |

It is a political blunder for a Yoruba politician to try to meddle in our internal politics. The branding of Nigeria today by Yoruba politicians should be on the same pretext like Awolowo and the Fulani North…. Learn to solidify your base… win the trust of your people and then use it as a launching pad to negotiate at the center….. If you think you will not reconcile with your people and still hope to have a platform to stand up to outsiders….. you will make yourself vulnerable to the enemy….. I desperately wish for Yoruba agitators and politicians to unite for a common cause… just like in the days of Awolowo…. He was feared by outsiders because they realized his’s people’s love for him cannot be shaken…. If you rig Awolwo’s party out of power in Yorubaland…. He did not need to mobilize.... the people will stand up for him naturally….. this earned him so much respect that if democracy lasted long enough…. He would have emerged president like Buhari did after many failed attempts. The greatest mistake Bola Tinubu is doing is reaching out to others while many of his kinsmen at home are biased about him…. Whoever advised him to put in his 10 cents in Edo politics made a big blunder…. Edo people… like Igbos…. hold a big resentment towards Yoruba people…. they have an elephant size complex which has forced them to twist history up and down and make so many colorful stories over the ages to resist such complex…. Benin people… like factions of Kwara and Ijebu hold elements of rebellious people of Yoruba ancestry…. Why… because they feel dwarfed by a bigger history of their benevolence to the parent body at Ile Ife and Oyo. In the second republic…. It was the Oba Akenzua II that worked with the politicians in the Midwest to ensure the creation of the Midwest because he was desperate to break away from Yoruba people…. his son was the fraudulent author who made the fabricated stories of how elders roamed forests for over 40 years looking for a fugitive Igodomigodo prince…. In a reckless attempt to infuse his bloodline into the Ogiso dynasty and disrespect the true natives of Igodomigodo whose lands were invaded by Oranmiyan… in his book he even mentioned how Oduduwa tested the elders to be sure they are repentant and gave the elders 7 lice and told them to bring if back after 3 years… and how one of the senior chiefs put it in the hair of one of his slaves to preserve it for three years (he must have read the story of Joseph and infused his version)…. Now this is where it bugs a question…. Lice have only a lifespan of 30 days…. Within that 30 days… they would have laid tons of eggs and multiply rapidly…. To say 7 lice were put on a slaves head and same 7 lice were alive 3 years after without multiplying is totally false narrations ( and to think the Oba that wrote the story was learned…. He must have studied biology when he was at Government college Ibadan)…. These are the negative energies going on between Edo and larger Yoruba today… the true natives of Igodomigo also do not like Yoruba people because they blame them for the invasion of their land by Oranmiyan…. How then do Yoruba politicians think these people would have any kind of regards for them…. If they played politics like Awolowo…. They will concentrate on home and then build coaltions rather than engage in direct politics. Do you know who Obaseki is he comes from a well known migrant nobility that will do anything for power in Benin.… they know how to profit from tension…. You can never outsmart them in such game… his greatgrandfather was the very man that helped the British run down Benin kingdom…. He helped them put the king away into exile in calabar… hoping to take the power of the throne for himself…. He succeeded at this but was rejected by Benin people who remained loyal to the throne until the bloodline of Oranmiyan was restored to the throne. Copied from Gbonka Ebiri.

E2easy: You people are really funny! You claim to be Esan and you don’t even know your origin. Even Nnamdi Azikwe said “the reason why the Onitcha people are so proud and claim superiority to other Igbo tribes , it is because Onitcha were descendant of the Royal palace of Benin”
Anioma, Onitcha , Aniocha... Iduje-ogboko, all these Igbos speaking region claim ancestry to Benin. I don’t understand why Esan are now claiming to be Igbos , people who are claiming ancestry to Benin. Can’t you see you’re all foolish and don’t know your history?
Benin is the name for the state, Edo is the capital. But for political reasons , it was changed as Edo the state and Benin the capital. The Benin Empire has done so much for everyone in Edo to be proud of, so you people should stop your nonsense and senseless argument. It is better you change your mindset about each other’s , the earlier the better! Fools! Esans are not Benin or have anything, link with binis. The binis are Ife immigrants to Igodomigodo. Esan are Idu children, same with Igbo, hope you get it now. They were all living in ancient Igodomigodo before they were displaced from their ancestral land Idu by Ife imigrants. Again those ethnic groups you mentioned above has nothing to do with binis. Binis dont speak Igbo. The fact that Onitcha, Anioma, Ikwere, Ika, Ekpeye and Etche traced their root to Edo State should convince you, the present occupants in Benin city are imposters. |

Rossikk: Can someone please answer this simple question?
IPOB were silent during the Jonathan administration.
Not a whimper from them despite the presence then of Fulani herdsmen, Boko Haram, and other excuses they give for their militancy - poverty, corruption, recession, marginalisation, etc etc.
Are IPOB saying they have no secessionist agenda insofar as a southerner is president, and that their secessionist protests are activated only when a northerner is president of Nigeria?
And if THAT is the case, aren't they in fact a terrorist organisation engaged in fascist ethnic hatred, and requiring total annihilation by the federal govt?
If a southern president is elected ion 2023 and IPOB stops their agitation, it will only confirm the description I gave of them above - a fascist terrorist organizaton peddling ethnic bigotry and hate, and requiring total elimination.
You cannot be a ''freedom fighting organization'' that changes its agenda based on the ethnicity of the nation's leaders. THAT'S EVIL and FASCIST. Quiet |
