Until the woman comes on LIVE TV and denies this letter in her own words. Vanguard's story stands. No family member or aide can speak for her.

Orlando Owoh: Atlwireles, I dey laugh. We are going to take over Warri. Yes, Warri may not be occupied by only Itsekiri; there are Urhobo and Ijaw in it. Do you know that Yoruba also have linguistical affinity with these other groups? The Ijaw and the Yoruba have the same names for cat and lantern. Go find out.

nedu666: see as grown up adults are throwing abuse back and forth over notin. some people here hve never landed a punch, fought on the street or spilled blood before yet they are issuing threats back and forth. what do they want those of us that belonged to be doing.

AS FOR GANI OPC, he is idle so he need something to occupy him. the iteshikiris will neva wish for a repeat of the event of 1990s. yorubas are really funny where were they when ijaws, urhobos are killing their iteshikiri brodas, now thet think that by inaugrating opc in warri that means they own warri. these folks hve neva stepped foot in warri if they have they will known that warrri is for strong men not diplomats and critics.

as for their comminique of controlling their resources on land , sea and atmosphere, thaere is notin wrong with that except that for 8 years, 8 solid years, 12345678 a yoruba man ruled this nation with iron fist and all these should have been easy to accomplish yet not for one day did any yoruba man think of seccession or resource control. now they want resource control. they want to control their seaport, thinking others along the cost dont hve seaport or airport. No wahala however, in controlling ur resources others must control theirs, to include those working in the oil coys, whom to sell their crude to, decision of contolling the forex from their oil.

but knowing u people and ur invest and interest in oil, they will rather die than agree to quit the oil coys, what will happen to likes of oando, conoil, fort, caverton helicopter, gaslink, all the yorubas working in the oil coy. TALK IS CHEAP, LET ITESHIKIRI GO AND CLAIM WARRI, LET YORUBAS CONTROL RESOURCE THEN AWIAT RESPONSE FROM OTHERS
They have to step into Warri, then the phrase, "who no go no know" becomes applicable. As you said talk is cheap, let them come into Warri and open their mouth about any yoruba crap.

mandarin: Like I wrote about emerging Nigeria countries somewhere yesterday, I do not share the expectation of a disintegrated Nigeria but the Nigeria in which all groups can achieve their aims and succeed in a restructured Nigeria.
I however concured that the Igbo would scheme their way to get the Ikwere and most of western Igbo(if not all) while the Yoruba will align in a mutually beneficial union with the Itsekiri(en route the Urhobo etc),Edo Igala and other areas west of the Niger River including the Bariba and Tapa(Nupe) and also the Ebira. I look at the Yoruba as very astute and can do negotiations of convenience and looking at the mutual benefits for both parties it will be acceptable to all. That will for instance put a Yoruba country on top of Anambra area of Igbo land and share boundary with Enugu and open oil dispute with Anambra. This will cause Igbo to flex muscle and find a diplomatic approach to deal with the Yoruba cause it places their military very close to the centre of Igboland within very few hours and kilometres. The Warri ports can serve the Igbo ,country if Yoruba gets the place and the are working on it without shooting a bullet which will make the Urhobo and other Delta groups see a negotiated position with the Yoruba as their best possibilities.
By being part of a larger Yoruba country or region, the Itsekiri put themselves under a fortified power bloc and big influence that will make their neighbours think twice on any issue, it will give the Yoruba the control of the coast thereby making it the best possibility of bringing the old Bendel into the fold. I think am making sense do you?
You yorubas are just high on crack.

Pukkah: That 'divided' house may be united by this letter saga.

I won't be surprised to see Vanguard being sued on two fronts by both Iyabo Obasanjo and Olusegun Obasanjo.

With Iyabo denying the letter and no real evidence of her authorship (voice recording or signature on the letter), I don't know how Vanguard can wriggle out of a multiple libel case.
Sued for what? read Mojji's book, Iyabo simply repeated what her mother wrote.

PoliticsRe: Gani Adams, Itsekiri Leaders Inaugurate OPC In Warri, Delta by atlwireles:
The dead Itsekiris, always mislead by noise making airheads like Gani Adams, thought the warnings they got were empty threats. Unfortunately, they are not here today to say otherwise. The dead laying over the roads in Warri, is not some history lesson to some of us, it was real life. The burnt houses, destroyed businesses and thousands of Itsekiris made refugees are not threats but real life. No Warri man or woman wants to see those days again. I hope you people are not setting them up for another mass slaughter.
PoliticsRe: Gani Adams, Itsekiri Leaders Inaugurate OPC In Warri, Delta by atlwireles: 12:43am On Dec 18, 2013
look at yorubas fighting here to show us, who owns Warri? You people are really pathetic. The peace in Delta state for past couple of years is bad news to you people, abi. The fact Warri has been rebuilt and the economy is thriving once again, is making you people mad? You want to cause war. Kill innocent people for issues your fathers know nothing about. Keep it up, the war will be coming to your doorsteps, you can count on that. We are all watching.

PoliticsRe: $50billion: CBN VS Pricewaterhousecoopers & NNPC : Who Is Speaking The Truth by atlwireles:
The reason why people like Sanusi can claim $50B missing from the NNPC crude sales is because they know Nigeria as a country is filled with silly people. Any serious minded person will simply laugh at any claim like this. But, this is Nigeria, where people believe, you can take a human, and magically convert them into money. Sanusi, should educate Nigerians about, how much we earn from Oil yearly in real numbers. Not this bogus lie of Nigeria exporting 2.5M barrels of crude daily. Give Nigerians, the breakdown, what belongs to Nigeria in the so called 2.5M barrels, what belongs to Shell, Exxon and Chevron, what is allocated to NNPC for local consumption and finally how many barrels are truly sold on behalf of the Nigerian people. It is so sad the CBN gov is telling the whole world, I don't have an idea how the primary source of foreign exchange, is generated in my country.

Omo_Tier1: Is APC not in charge of Edo State? Can you compare governance in Edo State to the stupidity going on in delta state? You people keep making a foolery of yourself, casting aspersion at political parties when clearly it is individuals that rule your lots like slaves!

@Topic,

Dem never see anything yet! It is on record that Yar'dua did more for Niger Delta than GEJ, and one would have thought that would be a food for thought for my people.
Edo State, all I have to say is best of luck. Come to delta and see yourself. No be propaganda, comparing Edo to delta is simply an insult to deltans.

No insult intended.

Do you think Ogbia people will pick up arms for the sake of an Otuoke man? Or Kalabari? Wake up bro.
Those nitwits should phuck-off and stop issueing empty threats.
NO IJAW son will fight for GEJ electoral misfortune. I am saying this cos I know the feelings of Ijaw people as regards this issue.
GEJ should perform and allow his works campaign for him. I really want him perform and win reelection but so far I'm disappointed.

The NDDC needs to be abolished. We already have the Nigerdelta minstry. Please allocate the monies there, and invest on real structures, like railroad, major interstate expressways and a comprehensive waterway channel. Why on earth is the NDDC, building schools, hostels, markets and civil centershuh

Abagworo: I've written here times without number that the people on ground or the real Niger Deltans are not happy. GEJ is loved but everyone is dissappointed at the whole politics of tribalism between him and some Igbos which has led to the neglect of a lot of things. I can bet with my last that if APC assumes leadership of this country, the Niger Delta will get all the attention it deserves.
You are one of worst liars on this forum. When GEJ begins a new project in ND, you will lead the voices crying favoritism. Bayelsa elders need to cry to Dickson. You people spent two years crying about everything going to ijaw now you trying a new story. The projects in my state are on course for completion. The Warri railroad and the east west road. The rest is on Uduaghan not Goodluck. Only a demon, will wish APC on the Nigerdelta people.

lygn19: If u re not ready for presidency, my ppl re ready o.
One thing I just want to tell my Igbo brothers is that when its tym nothing can stop us except if its not Gods will, also all doz talks abt northerners ruling for 40years it a big lie(if northerners staged a coup and it was succesful nobody stopped other tribes or region from attempting theirs, at least Obj is a testimony to that), I don't know if its that our leaders don't know how to play politics anymore or that we re just not ready to climb over to the next level, if Alex ekueme cud become d vice president just few years after d civil war even when d ethnic hatreds hadn't cleared like that what makes u think an Igbo man can't be president or vice president at this present time. Nigeria has had 14years of uninterupted democracy-
The yoruba's have had der 8years.
The north had only 2years because of some coincidence.
The ijaws had der 6years though its suppose to be 8.
Our time is coming but we need all hands on deck to make it happen, I hope that when we re ready we won't have some saboteurs.
How did the ijaw rule for 6years. What I'm I really missing with your commentshuh
