The way forward is resource control or referendum.
All options are on the table. Is a great time to be alive in the Niger delta. I never knew days like this would ever come.

why don't u direct ur anger at ur thieving govs ,militants leaders ,oil marketers and politicians ppl like ayiri and co who are mega billionaires on why they haven't used their brains to setup such a company in the niger delta. This project is a private company and such the owner has the right to site the project anywhere he or she pleases. If ur dummbo mumbo super rich billionaires don't have enough common sense to do tangible projects for ur area where u and ur likes will benefit basically because they don't trust the common sense of ppl in those areas not to vandalize and sabotage their investment , please don't disturb other ppl with ur region billionaires stupidity
After we finish with the Nigerian state we will direct our anger in that direction.

You just don't get it. They are not looking for oil. They are not looking for investment. They are not looking for business. They are the business. It is Nigeria that badly needs the oil, the money, the investment. You see, this is the tragedy called Nigeria that the supposedly brilliant people west and north fail time and again to realise. Ownership begets responsibility and sacrifice. Shareholders are more likely to do the necessary things to make an enterprise grow than employees. In the Nigerian political power industry the South appears subservient. What makes you think they care about the family silver. Their brief and rocky adventure into political power through GEJ has shown them there lies no benefit in central government.

With all that has happened since independence and particularly over the last 5 years I don't think Nigeria should expect anything from the south. The state should just continue running roughshod over its constituents and brace for the worst. Something has to give.

Check the spate of killings in Nasarawa and Plateau states, its quadrupled since Buhari won the election.
Some refuse to learn, so they must pay the price. Remember nothing is happening now, that was not expected. It will only get worse.
PoliticsRe: Muslim Community Attack Buhari For Shaking Hands With Christians by atlwireles:

Bros I won't be surprised at anything happening in Nigeria. Muslims sees the Buhari presidency as an opportunity to entrench their core values on the rest of us.
Growing up I never thought Sharia had a place in plural Nigeria but I was wrong.
Many people will lose their lives in the next four years , maybe thereafter they will understand the agenda of the Islamist. I am waiting for 29th May, for their agenda to be unveiled. Just arm yourself, because you will need it, against these animals.

From North to South to East to West all are legislators are the same, they are in parliament to enrich themselves. Name any region in Nigeria whose reps are clean from corruption and self interest?

My position remain the same, with or without the corruption we do need referendum.

before u derail any further, this has nothing to do with APC. When PDP held sway, it was the same story. When Jonathan was there also it was the same story also so Buhari and APC is out of the equation here.
You think the PIB is about APC/PDP. grin grin grin grin grin Have a nice day, and please don't quote me.

Very good of you that you mention Dakuku Peterside. Please hold your reps accountable and stop blaming the North.

Emeka Ihedioha, the deputy speaker, an ibo man was the one who presided over the meeting of the house when the ammendment was made. Leave the North alone
I blame no one. Maybe my change criers in creeks of the Niger delta will finally learn for their own good. Dakuku Peterside, Silva, Amaechi, O'tega, etc they all love Nigeria more than themselves. Unfortunately Nigeria hates them more than Lucifer and they just slapped them again.

Please stop trying to hold the deputy speaker responsible, the objections of Ogor and other Nigerdetans were voted down by a majority of members, not the deputy speaker.
PoliticsRe: REPS Amends PIB To Include The Entire Country As ‘host Community’ Of Petroleum. by atlwireles: 5:27pm On May 16, 2015
Where was Dakuku Peterside when this was happening? Abi he is not the chairman responsible for the PIB again? Maybe he was looking for his lost Soku wells. The enemies within WILL BE be our first problem angry. At least Ogor has seen, what people told him for 4 years.. Please forget this PIB, Shell, Chevron and Mobil will do the needful when the time comes. grin grin grin grin.

einsteino:
maybe you have forgotten so soon the relief the amnesty gave nigeria. You dont get results by ranting, watch the U.S. they have remained world power cos they are experts at diplomacy. Nigeria can not afford to fight boko haram in the north and at the same time militancy in the Niger delta, especially now that the price of crude has plummeted. lastly only myopic people think about exterminating villians, obasanjo was myopic. Yar'adua knew better and arrested the vice not villians.

i am not interested in the short lived sense of supremacy ond would get by taking tompolo out, i am interested in lasting peace and development. take it or leave it, tompolo would easily be replaced by another daredevil if you kill him. Nigeria killed ken saro wiwa and militancy was born years after, they arrested henry okah and tompolo surfaced, they settled tompolo with amnesty and General john togo appeared, they killed john togo and kelvin of kokori was born... Then the govt arrested him and corruptly used large contracts and money to shut the boys. yes Nigeria lost more money than the cost of those contracts when those boys were active even with the military fighting them. but i want lasting development that will change the lives of many. if u want war, go to borno and enjoy it.
You are too reasonable for this forum. The other side wants to subjugate, let's see what the Nigerian army/Navy has to offer. After 12 months of this face off, we shall see which side is more damaged. Their Magician General need to come display his Rommel tricks in the creeks of the delta. We can only die once.

Honestly some people mostly the South Westerners and the Northerners actually feel they can ride on like this forever. Truth of the matter is that if the militants were angry then, now they are furious because to them Jonathan was maligned and given a bad name then forced out of power. Most of them are just waiting for Buhari to begin his tenure then he will have to face them squarely and brother dem ready this time. Dem ready die!!!

Bros then Yaradua government did not willingly start the amnesty program. It just had no other choice. If Buhari should dare cancel the amnesty program, I give him six months maximum, he would be the one begging to resume the program.

This one is not a matter of PVC or card reader. The battle would be in the creeks

People need information, please help create platforms in our local languages, so our people must know what is happening. This day, Vanguard and Guardian have all failed us. We must never allow outsiders define what is news for us anymore.
PoliticsRe: The Lower Niger Congress! Have A Feel Of It! by atlwireles:
“They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot? Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power.”
― Patrick Henry

“These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their county; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny like hell is not easily conquered yet we have this consolation with us, the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly; it is dearness only that gives everything its value.

Of course all options are on the table but you can only take up arms with solid arrangement else they will pull out the rug under your feet and you're so fuccking down for many years.

We've got to plan well , a watertight plan before anything unless we are deciding to go the matrys way which also commands respect as long as you're willing to go to war with everything at stake and ready to lose it all or win some but at what price?
I rep diplomacy and politics.
Don't fight at home alone or when your kinsmen and passerby aren't anywhere close to you , just in case the tides changes against you.
