Such pretty young girls! R.I.P lovelies. |
I have heard nothing but bad news about this hospital. I hope something is done soon. I have always felt that patients in Nigeria tend to trust medical personell blindly. They are not God. They are also susceptible to mistakes and the foibles of being human, so please always ask questions. What is wrong? What is the treatment plan? Why does he/she feel this way? What's the prognosis? Above all, if you feel you are not getting adequate care, please go to another hospital. R.I.P to Dolapo. May God comfort her loved ones. |
@folaski: Thanks a lot. I will start the prayers immediately. I am also touched that u asked another poster to pray for me as well. I am very certain of one thing: "greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world." I have never been afraid for one second. God is working on my case and the results will be breath taking. I will have twin boys to replace the ones I lost. That is God's promise to me. He will restore to me the years the locust has eaten. I will seek you out when it happens to share my testimony. Thank you for allowing God to use you in this way, and thanks for the selfless service. May God bless you with all that your heart desires. |
folaski:Actually, I did not. Thanks for undertaking to pray with me. I think I should mention some dreams I had in the past. Some years ago I dreamt a woman was sitting outside my husband and I's bedroom window on a low kitchen stool. She had her back to the window and a little boy was looking in at me through the bars on the window but couldn't get in. I dreamt I met a lost little boy on my way home after dropping my daughter in school and I wanted to help him get to school. He begged me to take him home to live with me but I said no, that I didn't want people to think I kidnapped him. I then asked him to wait for me outside our gate to get something. As I went in, I saw some people carrying out a deliverance session at our agte. I went in, got something from my husband and rejoined the little boy outside. I also dreamt a woman was holding a couple of eggs out of my reach. I begged her to give me some and she said no. After I prayed about the last dream, I dreamt I collected 3 eggs from someone and gave my little daughter one out of it. Many thanks. |
folaski:Thanks a lot. I will embark on the prayers immediately. I initially thought of going for deliverance. I will also get my husband to pray for me like you said. I'm sorry but I will have to bother you some more. Can you outline some specific prayer points I can use? Thanks again. |
folaski:Thanks again. Laughing seriously at your 'many love affairs' line though. I am very happily and contentedly married. Never cheated, never will either. Okay, next dream(s). I am finding it difficult to conceive a second child. The first is 5yrs old. I keep dreaming of children, and this happens every single night without fail. Just last night I had two such dreams. 1. I dreamt I gave birth to a baby girl. We went home and I was telling my first child that she now has a baby sister, but in the dream, I felt kind of sorry that it wasn't a baby boy. I also saw myself breast feeding said baby. 2. I also dreamt I was taking care of an orphaned baby boy. He pooed and I went to get diapers to change him. The lady I was to get the diapers from, said they don't give diapers except on wednesdays and I told her the baby just arrived and I had to have diapers immediately as the baby had pooed. It kind of looked like it was an orphanage or something and the baby boy was the latest arrival. Some women were discussing the baby and saying his mother just died of cancer. These baby/children dreams happen almost every night. Its either I have a new baby, or I am taking care of children or I am seeing other people's babies and children that I know in real life. What do you think it all means? And thanks for the verses. God bless you. |
folaski:Thanks folaski. I will pray as advised. Whenever I wake up from these dreams, I usually get the impression it is a good dream, but I just can't explain what it means in particular. In the last one, I seemed to have moved to another apartment. I was downstairs hanging up washed clothes(two yellow tops). I looked down and saw that I was wearing another yellow top and white shorts. Another important thing is that in these dreams, the yellow clothing is usually more than one. Would you mind interpreting more dreams for me? I don't want to impose on you in anyway though. Many thanks and may God bless you real good. |
todayboy:You took the words right out of my mouth. In less than a year, we will realize what we have done to this great nation by voting this man in, unless of course he'll revert to deferring to his godfather, like he did with Idiagbon the first time he was president. I tend to agree with Dokubo. Our so called unity is a charade. Tribal sentiment has always and will always be the bane of Nigeria. |
Hi. Been seeing myself wearing yellow clothes in the dream. What does this mean please? Thanks. |
@OP: wow! This has happened to me before at the same shoprite in ikeja and I thought nothing of it. I remember the cashier said she couldn't scan about three items. Just like you I had made so many purchases so the scam went undetected. I really hope the managers do something about this. |
Hi. - dreamt I was attending someone's wedding. I was wearing a black dress and I looked down and noticed I had it on backwards so I called a friend to the bathroom to help wear it properly. I dreamt I got a new pair of shoes from my sister . In the same dream I also saw my hubby and I receiving a present from some hospitAl staff. It was nicely wrapped and they insisted they wanted my signature especially, I did and everyone started congratulating us. I dreamt I saw a chubby baby boy sitting on the floor. I asked him if I should carry him and he smiled So I picked him up and started calling my family to say that I too have collected my own baby boy and that he is even fatter than my sister's new baby. This was a monthe before she gave birth to her baby boy And finally I dreamt I got a loaf of bread from a bread truck seized by KAI Looking forward to the interpretations. God bless u. |
Hello pretty mamas. Congratulations bigmom! your labour was quite fast. @Udoka: I echo with others that stooling is a sign of imminent labour, at least that's the way mine started. @marygold: long time. how is ur little angel doing? please give her two e-kisses on my behalf. I am seriously tapping into hummingbird and byvan's anointing. i would be overjoyed to have twin boys. still waiting on God, and trying for baby number two. make una join me in prayers abeg. safe delivery to all. @Udoka: waiting patiently for your delivery story. It will be smooth, fast and with minimal pain in Jesus name. |
Oh, I also remember that it got worse after my mum left and I was all alone. I watched seasons 1 - 4 of Desperate Housewives then. It kept me from going over the edge. I think engaging in some form of leisure/pastime helps. It gives you something to focus on and helps distract from the problem. |
@topic: I had post partum depression after the birth of my first child. It was quite severe. I felt sad and hopeless. I stopped eating and lost a lot of weight. Unfortunately, my husband and my mum did not understand and got impatient with me. In my case it lasted until I resumed work after three months. Post partum depression is deadly and very real. I wish more relatives will understand that it's not that the new mum is acting out. I just remember feeling like life was not worth living. |
@stylishnclassy: I believe Starland is a very good school. Its on Acme Road in Ogba. That's the school I went to myself, and I have nothing but admiration for the school. |
Thanks tpia. |
Oh, and one other thing OP, you'll be glad for what you percieve as advanced 'overdone' learning, when twenty years from now, your son can write a simple sentence in English without murdering the language. I'm convinced that the reason most so called graduates in the country can not communicate effectively in English(oral and written) is because someone felt that their brains shouldn't be over taxed at an early age. Pick any thread on this forum, read through it, and before you get through the first ten posts, you'll probably get a fair idea what I'm getting at. As in everything in life, once the educational foundation is faulty, everything is bound to come crashing down someday. @damiso: you got me laughing there. |
