Lubyna: So if a woman has financial standards, she should now lower it for some guy because of what? What does the guy have to offer that more financially bouyant and ambitious men don't have? Is it by force to date somebori? It's not like she sees men as lower status, it's just that she can't date them. Shikena. Is it your life? Is it not her life? Most wealthy men are ambitious, intelligent, well informed and successful, and when they marry, they marry equally intelligent, ambitious, well informed and successful women. Stop watching Nollywood movies and engage with reality.
Oh please. It's not only the women who marry rich men that suffer domestic abuse. Women who are married to broke men also suffer domestic abuse. Domestic violence occurs across all boards.
Lolzzz. Sorry to say this but you are so ignorant about reality. Who told you white women aren't concerned about financial status? How many white women do you know? There are women of different races who have financial standards, and so can't settle for less. And they have the right to. Instead of complaining and abusing them, why don't you strive to be financially successful so you can meet the standards of most women? At the bolded i pray to almighty God not to bless me with wealth if the main purpose is to meet a girls financial standard! Madam change your mindset kidnappers yahoo boys, drug traffickers will be the type of guys that ill be hitting on you, and i kknow you wont like what happened to Evans wife to happen to you. |

Angel196: Seriously, I'll advice you not to waste your precious time with that guy. He is not after the truth nor is he after what is right. He is only after antagonizing Islam and spreading falsehood.
He actually knows that most of the rules in the Qur'an exist in the Bible too but unlike Muslims, he isn't after following the rules of God so why argue with someone like that?
He is only after criticizing islam so no matter what truth you say he will never accept it.
I am a Muslim woman and I feel naked without my hijab so I don't use it because it is compulsory. But seriously, you cant argue with someone who sees nothing wrong and bad with people walking around half naked.
Don't engage him in any discussion. I have witnessed many of his discussions on this forum and I've had a few with but it all comes down to his hatred for Islam. I have only ever seen him posting things against Islam. No matter what you say, he will always remain antagonistic towards our religion. is obvious the guy is an illiterate |

cristianisraeli: do you know one of the wives of mohammed safiyahh was a jewish woman mohammed beheaded her husband and father and killed her family and took her as his wife...TRUE OR FALSE
When the Muslims invaded and conquered Khaybar, the fighting men were killed and Safiyah was taken captive (along with the rest of the women and children) and allotted as booty to Dihya Al-Kalbi, a Muslim.Kinana was tortured and executed by the Muslims in order to discover the hiding places of treasure,[and one source relates that he and Safiyah had been married only one day.
She was so beautiful, that the Muslims began praising her in the presence of Muhammad, and so the prophet commanded that Dihya be brought before him along with Safiyah. Upon seeing her, Muhammad said, "Take any slave girl other than her from the captives" and he selected her for himself. The Muslims left Khaibar to return to Medina and on the way they stopped at a place called Sidd-as-Sahba; it was at this time Safiyah became clean from her menses. The "marriage banquet" consisted of haris (a kind of dish) served on a small leather sheet and a gathering of those who were conveniently nearby. Another narrator describes the banquet in this way: "...there was neither meat nor bread in that banquet, but the Prophet ordered Bilal to spread the leather mats on which dates, dried yogurt and butter were put." Muhammad stayed three nights there and consummated his marriage with Safiyah.
From the information provided in the Hadith, we can reasonably conclude that Safiyah did not have a choice in this marriage. She was held captive up until the marriage, and when Muhammad decided that she would be a wife rather than a slave-girl, that is when he made known that her manumission was her mahr. Based on the Hadith, it is blatantly obvious why Muhammad took Safiyah. Her social status would not have mattered in this particular situation because Muhammad did not intend on maintaining amiable ties with the Jews of Khaibar. In fact, he intended on forcing them into exile but was talked out of it by the Jews who agreed to cultivate the land and give half of its earnings to the Muslims.

Hengameh Golestan’s best photograph: Iranian women rebel against the 1979 hijab law
I started taking photos in 1972. Back then, there were only four or five female photographers in Iran. It was seen as a strange thing for women to do. When I said my profession was “photographer”, my friends and family would laugh. “Photography is a hobby,” they’d say. As far as they were concerned, photographers worked weddings and tourist spots.
Some nurses stopped some men in a car and said: We want equality – so put some scarves on too! This was taken on 8 March 1979, the day after the hijab law was brought in, decreeing that women in Iran would have to wear scarves to leave the house. Many people in Tehran went on strike and took to the streets. It was a huge demonstration with women – and men – from all professions there, students, doctors, lawyers. We were fighting for freedom: political and religious, but also individual.
Iranian women protesting against the Hijab law in Tehran in 1979. Photograph: Hengameh Golestan oga calm down take a chill pill! There's no compulsion in Religion, but as long as you're a muslim you must abide by its rules and regulations and if yyou think the are rules are too harsh you can change your religion to whatever that suit you, first let me educate on you on the importance of Hijab, when a woman didn't cover her body From head to toe sshowcasing her nudity there's no way anybody can respect her, and in islam women are respected and treated like queens, a typical example if you want to see for yourself travel down to the North Women when married are just living in a house eating and drinking what the man provides she doesn't work to help him with money or help pay kids school fees she is a woman she doesn't deserve to suffer she's meant to be respected! All this your western propaganda and hate about islam will take you nowhere just take your time learn what islam is all about try and read the Qur'an and understand its meaning you will know what i'm talking about! Quran is almost 1500 years old yet no single dot wwas changed or modified Quran is the complete way of life read the holy book and enlighten yourself. |

Firstly I encourage you to read this thread
https://www.nairaland.com/2866978/how-buy-1688.com-chinese-store
Second, 1688 is the site you can and make high, but when buying clothes in 1688 , you need to be careful, I'm not saying all the clothes in 1688 are of poor quality but too cheap clothes in 1688 , that the quality are poor also make sure you join shoe for the line cos you will make a lot of money with this.
Lastly : I can help pay for you in china, if you still have difficulty in selecting your product, you can contact me, I will be of help, as for shipping, I can ship your good from China to your location in Nigeria
Good luck oga tugrow i followed your thread from a to z i'm importing from aliexpress and dhgate but 1688.com is very nice for me, i have purchased from there almost 3 times, my childhood friend is studying in china so what i do is to send him money add what i want to purchase to shopping Cart and leave the rest to him. We are operating One account which my friend created with his china phone number, there are many things to buy and resell here at a reasonable price at thesame time making huge profit. My brother purchased ten set of latest 2017 shoes for personal use with less than 50k. I will also import shoes and clothes after Ramadan. Mini importation using aliexpress to me is not profitable 1688.com is the only way for me. |

Olutola88: Longtime bro. How have you been? I'm enjoying the work, I think I really love it. Just that the industry is becoming something else. I also sometimes envy Oil&Gas workers cos I feel those guys do little and earn so much *winks*.
Thanks for that piece of advice. For now, I'm not particular about making abnormal profit. 15-20% profit is okay for now. I think I should be able to make that getting my stock from Lagos.
Are those products from China very good products? How easy is it to buy from there and ship to Nigeria?
What do you think?
Thank you actually i dont reside in lagos but most of the goods are imported from china, 1688.com is chinese online shopping site they sell to chinese only so you can trust their quality. If you dont have a friend in china to help you buy and ship to your location you can make use of agents here on nairaland there are many of them, there's this guy zubby he will help you purchase and ship to your location, you will pay him through his Nigeria bank account. All you have to do is get familiar with the site. A nairalnder tugrow created a thread about buying from the site just check his profile and read the thread, i'm alsl going to start importing tees and jackets after Ramadan. |

Olutola88: Hi Nairalanders,
I intend venturing into sales of Shirts for men, shoes for men, wristwatches for men and women as well as perfumes for men and women.
I do an 8am-6pm job
I intend getting my stock in Lagos and selling in the town I work and reside in.
I don't intend overstocking, I only want to buy what I know I'll get a buyer for within a month.
My goal is to take d goods to my target customers( Bank workers, Medical Doctors and Lecturers, students).
I intend helping my customers look good without spending too much.
I have someone that'll help in taking the items to the target customers.
Where is the best place to get my stock? Quality products at the lowest prices I can trust. Lagos? Where in Lagos? Idumota? Kindly let me know.
The goods have to come at very good prices because I intend selling at a price a little below the popular market price in the town I currently work.
Kindly give any other helpful advice if you are conversant with this line of business.
Thank you Brother dont buy anything in lagos why because they also import the cloths, to get cheap stuffs go to 1688.com but you will need the help of a chinese friend or agent to help you make purchases and shipment, you can get good quality long sleeves and short sleeves shirts for as low as 15 to 20 yuan which is less than 1k. How are you coping with the banking job winks |

Family › Re: Should I Expose My Wife's EX? by aumeehn: 4:21am On May 28, 2017 |
missomo: I think you have a very good woman as a wife. Let me tell you why.
Your wife obviously was very close to her ex. It is obvious that the issues she had in the marriage made her confide in someone she thought was a close friend. The fact that he was married too made her more comfortable. Unfortunately, he turned out to be an opportunist. Immediately she discovered he had ulterior motives she backed away and let it be. That's a good woman. People make mistakes and she didn't even commit adultery but fled from it.
She is a bit foolish and immature though but good because she told you. Most women won't ever tell you what happened but because she has a simple mind and an innocent spirit she did.
Poster, can you come out here and say truthfully that you haven't had an extra marital affair since you married her? She probably discovered one or two of your flings and she decided to retaliate during a fight by saying that she went to see a man. She didn't see any man. She came back late because she spent time with a female friend complaining and vowing to teach you a lesson. She said she was with a man simply to prove to you that she too can be found appealing by someone outside. No woman unless she is feeding you will ever admit or flaunt her infidelity to your face.
You should sit down with you wife and in a civil manner tell her what you think she has done wrong. You people should sort it all out in one night and there should be no secrets or secret movements between you two.
Lastly know that there is no perfect marriage. Don't listen to anyone here saying she is a prostitute because you know she isn't and that is why you wifed her. I wish you both the best. sit down with her in a civil manner my foot! Women naturally disrespect weaklings, he's the one in charge not the other way round, op slap the hell out of her ddirty olosho face and sent her packing! She wants to eat her cake and have it back, for this generation wallai na babymama go fit your kind cus your husband will die of heart attack if he dont have street ot! Confiding in her Ex cus he is her friend mtsw olosho! |
