Good Day People! Pls my question is, can I apply as dependent of someone who is already in the UK? I was told that if the person in UK did not include you initially as a dependent, that you will be denied visa, while some others say it's still possible to still apply and join the person. Pls advice. Thank you. |

Congratulations. Spicyme: Hi Nairalanders,
Please grab a bottle of coke and a cup of popcorn as I am about to tell my story.
I took my time to write this just to encourage someone. Always remember that there is a light at the end of every tunnel.
Decision to travel: I heard about express entry from my sister that stays in Canada early 2017. She went as a student and after a while, she called all her siblings to advise us to relocate. I was like “I am not a fan of obodo oyibo.” She practically begged me to give it a trial but I refused. Fast forward to some months later, I got a new car. A week after I got the car, we all got a mail in my office about a salary increase. The following day, I overheard my boss telling my colleague that “for Jayne to be driving a car like that, she doesn’t need the money I pay her”. Out of curiosity, I decided to check everyone’s salary after the increment (I had access to such information as I was the third in command in the company). Guess what!! 20k - 30k was added to everybody’s salary and just 5k was added to mine. This means that even the receptionist was earning more than me. I got home and cried myself to sleep and dreamt about Canada. I woke up the next day and called my sister.

You will be writing the BCS certificate in IT which has three core modules covering fundamental principles in IT. Kindly visit www dot bcs dot org for more info. makano: Hello Adunnee, please as regards BCS. I have just my Bsc, no Masters.. So I learnt BCS will increase my scores by 30 scores, how true is this? Also based on my research on the BCS certification, I got to know that BSC is in 3 modules, now my question is will I have to write the 3 modules before I can get a certificate to boost my scores or just writing one module is enough... I don't really know much about this BCS stuff, and I need guidance on how it is being done.. Please anybody that has used BCS to get PPR, I will really appreciate ur input.. Thanks |

Nice one, God bless you. ladymarshall: I have updated the remaining hall of fame list of Part 8 on page 1 in this part. If you got PPR in part 8 and your monikers is not on either list, let me know. I'll assume the responsibility for this part. Btw, everything happened so fast this morning got query on why I didnt create a new thread during the weekend, created new part asap, got banned and unbanned again. I hadn't even finished reading the last pages of part 8
Welcome to this new thread. May you all get PPR in this part and may we have more PPR scripts and faster processing times by CIC. May the scores and draws be favorable too. @Mamaroon @stencil, @Adunnee @iaatmguy @yemblaze @majamisile @johnnybravo1990 @jjohndoe83 @ladywinterfell @temigee @bankyh1905 @teeielts360 @Ednut1 @Tina26 this is your part, I am so eager to update your monikers in the earliest part of this hall of fame. The wait has been long enough, I'm praying and hoping it would happen asap.
To make this easier so I don't get overwhelmed, I'll handing over the marking responsibility of marking the scripts to @Yemblaze who I strongly nominate openly, if she is willing. She has been so consistent on this thread, understands the marking style and I am very confident she will carry on the script marking tradition until she gets PPR. Hey sis, do you accept? If you do, you can choose a capable assistant whenever you can. If not, I'll nominate someone else.
May we enjoy this part. Parts 1-8, Page 1 of this part and the search bar are great resources for all kinds of questions. We have dealt with over 90% of express entry questions. Let's research first before asking questions so we don't clutter the thread. Let's reserve the pages for customized enquires and special cases. 1 Like |
