Movies have been on decline in my opinion…

Seems the peak of movies and storyline was between 1999 to 2010s

Since then, we hardly see correct movies with mad story lines…
Instagram reels, short skits and TikTok contents seems to be impacting movie industry negatively…. And the worst thing is that those reels are non stop distractions that can reduce people’s IQ and even affect mental health.

Imagine leornado deceprio featuring in a movie and I was struggling to stay away —- One battle after another is a 5/10….
Compare to movies like shutter island, inception, wolf of Wall Street, Django unchained etc


Among all this, the one that I would rank best is still “Sinners”

Back in the 2010s, we had hits back to back…but post Covid, a whole year can pass and we barely see anything good
Days of Matrix, interstellar, Titanic, 300, Troy, Saving private Ryan, The prestige, Fury, Gladiator, Heroes, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter !

Speaking of good old days,it only seems the older the better,the movies that came before the ones you mentioned were much better than the ones you mentioned or so I think.
Any day any time I will choose Shanshawk redemption,God father,Good fellas,not without my daughter,who will love my children ,Armour infinity and the others over any of the mid 2000 movies.

You want to divert attention from the main issues,the same people whom are complaining that Lagos is overstretched and is congested,keep pushing all major federal government projects and establishments to Lagos,its only natural that more people will flood the state,as workers and others that will benefit directly and indirectly from such will head to Lagos ASAP.
I don't think this is the way to decongest Lagos,this government is creating a bigger problem for Lagos,in an attempt to acquire more for their region.

Tomorrow they will be quick to claim how Lagos is their own and how Tinubu created it,without acknowledging that most infrastructures and key establishments in Lagos are federal government projects,using our common patrimony.
Anyway, there is no problem,as long as Lagos is 'no man's land'!

All of a sudden certain characters whom obviously are sponsored,has suddenly reactivated their accounts in nairaland and may be other social media sites,in other to change the narratives to suit their propaganda.
Suddenly,the south east have started recording some unexplainable killings by the usual 'unknown gunmen' or if it suits the source of the news,then is 'IPOB'.
Asari Dokubo once spoke of his private 'military operations' in south east but the powers that be,choose to let it die down obviously for reason best known to them, may be 'classified"!
I need not speak much on these things,at the appropriate time,some how,secrets are leaked and the truth will prevail. The dance of shame on the national theater will be so glaring.

enough of urban development, the rural areas should be concentrated on, its one reason why the pace of growth is slow and this in turn increase rural to urban migration.

am not saying this mall should be built in the village o, all i mean is the resources should be channel to different rural development scheme. private sector should be responsible for things like this

Except you don't know Anambra very much,the rural areas are all completely urban or semi urban area. The south east is adjuged to have the most developed rural areas in sub saharan Africa.

I am from Asaba,forget the political hirings,we want an igbo state added to the South East,Asaba at its present state is more igbo than some igbo states. My cousins are all over Onitsha and its environs but the political demarcation placed us in delta state. The feelings on ground,is that we want igbo state and join us with our brothers in south east.
We will still have other of our brothers in south south.
