What do you think #700,000 will do to the main barons running the drug cartel,it is simply the ordinary businessman trying to make ends meet,are the ones suffering. The culprit can easily pay the money and continue with the sale of these illicit drugs,why are we not questioning how these drugs are passing through our ports or are we celebrating our own inefficiencies,your guess is as good as mine.

Ndigbo and education,you can not take it away from them.The standard of primary and secondary school education in the east is next to none,the missionary schools especially
Catholic and Anglican schools still maintain a standard higher than what is obtainable in most parts of Nigeria,left for some of the private schools you may have to pay millions in other regions,which may only be comparable to these missionary schools in the East. You will hardly get educational standard at the same levels with these missionary schools.
At this rate,I fear we may need more than 50 more universities and other higher institutions all over Nigeria in the next 10yrs to be able to take these brilliant students graduating from Eastern secondary schools.

If your state is not peaceful, developed or stable, you can't attract people to spend, to gain VAT through their spending, payments, or demand.

We all should make our states stable, peaceful, developed and progressive not empty boasts and talks.

Lagos is what it is today by the fact that it was the capital of Nigeria and hence,federal strength was used to fix most infrastructures there and until the federal govt decides to decentralized development,nothing will change.
If govt could invest half of what it invested in putting up the different ports in Lagos,in portharcourt and calabar,I bet you most people will relocate,dredge Onitsha port to accommodate huge cargoes and see what is left of Lagos.

Anambra state is very fertile and receptive to businesses,its always a tale of one success or the other,every investment made in Anambra state always brings great returns.The middle class that has since died off in most states of Nigeria,is still very much active and buoyant in Anambra state,reason businesses thrives very well in that state.Local and Foriegn investment keep coming in and money greatly exchanges hand in the state.
Anambra state is a business man best kept secret,from Awka to Onitsha,from Obosi to Nnewi,from Egwulobia to Ihiala,the list goes on.
