Rapper 03 Greedo proposed to his longtime girlfriend on stage at a concert on Monday night, but the wedding may have to wait a few decades — he's scheduled to begin a 20-year prison sentence this week.



According to TMZ, Greedo had his final pre-prison performance in Los Angeles on June 25. While performing his song "If I," he dropped down on one knee and asked Kei Bradley to marry him. She said yes and hugged her new fiance.

Greed will be locked up in less than 48 hours after pleading guilty to possession of more than 400 grams of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a firearm this year. The incident stemmed from a 2016 arrest.

A laundry firm operator, Emeka Chukwuemeka, has revealed how a pastor gave him human blood to drink in order to become a millionaire. .

According to Newtelegraph, Chukwuemeka was arrested by SARS operatives after his neighbors got tired of the stench from his shop on Sunday, at Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos, .

While speaking to newsmen, Emeka said: “I was in my shop, working one fateful day when my friend, Pastor Johnson, came to me. He said that he noticed I had been working as a drycleaner for long, but had made little or no money. .

That was how the conversation started. The pastor told me that there were young boys, not up to my age, who made it through the work they did, but also with the support of rituals. He said that I should face reality.

The pastor promised to assist me to overcome all my challenges. He asked me to get N5,000 ready. I rallied round and got the money for him. I didn’t know that what he was going to give me was human blood. .

He instructed me to drink the blood for three days, after which I would stop, and then wait for the result. I took it twice, I couldn’t continue. I couldn’t bear the stench of the blood. .

But nothing changed in my business after I drank the blood twice. I was planning to dispose the blood when some neighbours started complaining of the stench. This led to my arrest. .

Immediately I was arrested, the pastor’s phone line stopped going through.” The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal, said the suspect would be charged to court, while the fleeing pastor would be arrested.

A one legged suspected armed robber, Mr. Akinola Akeem has been arrested after he removed his artificial leg and climbed the ceiling of a popular shopping complex in Lagos to steal at night. According to reports that the incident happened at about 11pm at the popular Hub and Hub Plaza located at 4 Moshalasi close in Shasha area of Lagos.



The 34-year old Akeem confessed that he came all the way from Ijebu Ode in Ogun State to Shasha area of Lagos where he was caught.

The father of three kids revealed that it was not the first time he was coming to Lagos to steal but was unfortunate this time that he was arrested.

Sources who spoke to P.M.EXPRESS said the suspected armed robber met his waterloo after he removed his artificial leg, climbed the ceiling of the storey building and broke into two shops.

However, the security men on duty came to the place and found the artificial leg with jeans on it. The security men wondered who kept it at that particular period. Other security men on duty were alerted, they began to comb the area and Mr. Akinola Akeem was found inside the shopping plaza ceiling.

He was forced to come down and he confessed that he was a robber. He pleaded with them not to kill him and he was later handed over to the police at Shasha Division. The police thereafter charged him before the Magistrates court sitting in Ejigbo for burglary.

Mr. Akinola Akeem pleaded not guilty.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. F.K.J. Layeni granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties The prosecutor, Mr. G.Simon did not object his bail condition. He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition. The matter was adjourned till 25 April, 2018.

News broke out this morning on the death of the founder of the popular Ponzi scheme, MMM Sergei Mavrodi. Nigerians have however reacted to the news on twitter and according to a user, the founder deserved what he got.

The comment came mostly from Nigerians and people from other parts of the world whose encounter with the Ponzi scheme had been mostly unpalatable.

Some of the comments raised questions about the circumstances that surrounded his death, while the majority of the people believed that it was just a clear case of Karma.

Mavrodi inaugurated his pyramid scheme in 2011 and crashed in Nigeria in December 2016.

A 24-year-old poverty alleviation activist, Steven Kizza, has died after drowning while swimming at Aruu waterfalls in Uganda, just few months to his wedding



He had his introduction ceremony at the end of last year. Kizza, an employee of an NGO based in Kamwokya, Kampala, had travelled to Gulu on a work-related trip. While there, he and other colleagues decided to go and have fun at the falls.

Moments before he drowned, he first took pictures, then he sat down and put his feet in water as his friends took pictures. Unknown to them, this was their last moment with him. .

Slowly, he slipped down the water falls and by the time they realized he was actually slipping from life, it was too late to rescue him. They sounded an alarm, but there was no one in vicinity to respond to their calls. Police came in later and managed to retrieve the body.

A young man identified as Somalia Abdullahi Shabege has climbed a radio transmission mast in attempt to commit suicide.

Shabege has refused to come down from the mast unless the Governor of Zamfara, Abdulhaziz Yari steps down as the Chairman of Nigeria’s Governors’ Forum, NGF.

Shabege was a political praise singer to the governor during the 2011 general elections.

He stated in a note he left behind that the governor abandoned him after he had promised to support him to boost his trade of tricycle fabrication, Daily Trust reported.



An eyewitness identified as Musa Usman at the scene said Shabege arrived the premises of Kano broadcating corporation’s booster station at Tukuntawa, Kumbotso local government area around 6am on Friday behaving abnormally before he climbed to the pinnacle of the mast.

“The young entrepreneur, who has currently being convinced to come down from the mast, arrived the scene as early as 6am,”‎ he said.

As at time of report, the Kano state Fire Service personnel in collaboration with the police are present at the scene convincing the entrepreneur to come down amidst mild drama and crowd.

Evicted Big Brother Naija contestants, Leo and Ifu, have shared their least favourite housemates.

According to Ifu, she initially didn’t understand Nina’s deal; was she intentionally acting dumb or was it part of her strategy.

She also said that she eventually got to realize that she is a sweet girl.

Leo mentioned his former strategic partner and love interest Alex as his favourite. On his least favourite, he said he had none as he was on speaking terms with everyone.


Ifu on her least favourite

Did I have a least favorite housemate? Maybe, in the beginning when just got into the house and there were 19 of us. I wasn’t really feeling Nina because I just really couldn’t get what her deal was, like if she was intentionally trying to be dumb, [or] if it was like a strategy.

But as the weeks went by, I saw that she was actually a very sweet girl.

So I won’t say that she was my least favorite. I think maybe at certain points when people did some things to me, they would take that spot as my least favorite.

The applicant is seeking a declaration that the forceful seizure, confiscation and sealing of his property by the respondents without any court order is illegal, wrongful and unconstitutional.

Alleged kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, a.k.a Evans, on Tuesday filed a fresh suit at a Federal High Court in Lagos, seeking N1 billion damages against the Police over alleged unlawful sealing of his property in Lagos.
The suit, filed by his lawyer, Mr Olukoya Ogungbeje, has as the Inspector General of Police, Nigeria Police, Inspector General of Police, Intelligence Response Team, (IRT) , ACP Abba Kyari and DSP Phillip Rieninwa as respondents.

The applicant is seeking a declaration that the forceful seizure, confiscation and sealing of his property by the respondents without any court order is illegal, wrongful and unconstitutional.

He wants an order compelling the respondents jointly and severally to immediately and unconditionally release the properties as listed in the motion papers.

In addition, is asking the court for an order compelling the respondents to immediately and unconditionally unseal and vacate the applicants two residential houses located at highbrow area of Magodo in Lagos.

Other reliefs are an order compelling the respondents to severally and jointly tender an apology to the applicant and to pay him the sum of N1 billion being general and exemplary damages for the alleged forceful seizure and confiscation of the applicant’s property without court order.

A perpetual injunction restraining the respondents from tampering or taking any action against the applicant or any of his properties in relation to this case.

Some of the properties listed in the application include N50 million cash, two residential duplex, brigade wrist-watch worth 170,000 dollars, a phone worth 30,000 dollars and five pieces of Saphono Rucci Diamond rings worth 100,000 dollars.

Others are three Italian travel bags worth 55,000 dollars, 10 Spanish shoes each worth N2.5 million, 20 KVA inverter set worth N10 million, two sets of dinning table worth N8 million.

The applicant also wants N4 million as cost of action against the respondents.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Evans was arraigned by the police before a Lagos High Court in October 2017 on a 40-count charge bordering on kidnapping, robbery among other offences.

No date has been fixed for the hearing of the suit which was filed on Tuesday about 11.35 a.m.

The policeman reportedly found the missing Phillip Tumwebaze Wabwire at Kira Road.

The groom-to-be was reportedly hiding out at his friend's place after failing to raise funds for his much-anticipated wedding.

Wabwire's family first reported him missing last Saturday, February 24, adding that he was last seen going to a nearby shop to buy airtime to call his friends to attend his wedding meeting.

A 14-yr-old female student has reportedly been arrested for selling marijuana in school.
The Grade 9 student at a high school in Verulam, was arrested by officials of Reaction Unit, South Africa, after being caught with 24 wraps of marijuana on Friday morning, February 23.

Instablog9ja reports that the officers received information that the suspect was in possession of narcotics with the intention of selling them to other pupils during their lunch break.


According to the reports, the suspect reportedly confessed that the marijuana had been given to her by her 17-year-old sister who is a grade 11 student at the same school.

She also added that due to her sister’s absence from school on the day of her arrest, she was asked to hand it over to another student who was meant to approach her during the lunch break and assist her in selling the drugs to other students at R5.00 each.

The course of action taken by the officers remains on clear but the fact is that there has been a significant rise in drug usage amongst African youths and teenagers in the last two years.

The rise of illicit drugs among Nigerians
In May 2017, a Twitter user @Olubaba60detailed how he nearly died from an overdose on Tramadol and codeine. He also frequently used Refnol. His story is just another story of thousands of young Nigerians who are into these dangerous drugs.

In November 2016, Eromo Egbejule published a story titled “Is there a growing drug epidemic in Nigeria?“.

In his article, he states that there is a serious drug culture in Northern Nigerian ranging from cocaine, codeine to sniffing fermented human waste known as Jenkem which produces hallucinatory effects.

In March 2016, the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency discovered a super laboratory for the illicit production of methamphetamine located at Asaba, Delta.

The laboratory had the capacity of producing between 3,000kg and 4,000kg of methamphetamine per production cycle.

In the 80s and the 90s, Nigeria was mostly a trafficking point for narcotics from South American cartels who wanted to smuggle drugs to Europe. Nigeria’s security system was poor which made it ideal to move drugs.

The situation has grown worse. Nigeria is still a trafficking point but now we have turned into a country who produces and consumes these drugs.

Cartels in South America produce meth in Nigeria because of cheap labour and poor security network. Nigerians don’t just move cocaine anymore, they now consume it. The expensive nature of the drug makes sure its clientele is mostly the rich and wealthy.

While cocaine isn’t accessible to the middle class, drugs such as codeine, Refnol and Tramadol are. They are easily accessible on the streets of Lagos despite the best efforts of the government. The Federal Government is still using kid gloves to deal with drug abuse
