The backlash wasn't even about criticism and all of you know it. Kukah has been losing his mind since the very first day Buhari was sworn in and he didn't hide it. But subtly calling for coup is a new low for him.

BTW: you're mad for the blabbing part.

Why would you guys even think that there's no law against immorality in the first place? To even think that surprises me, honestly.

“In the same vein, section 231 of the Criminal Code Act which is a Federal law and applicable in states other than the northern states where Penal Code is applicable also make Indecent Acts punishable"
“Section 134 (a) Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015 prohibits any indecent act in any public place without lawful excuse. The law holds that such a person is liable on conviction to 2 years imprisonment,” said Chike Oti, Lagos State police spokesman.

“Section 136 of the Criminal Law of Lagos state, 2015 provides that any person who commits any act of gross indecency with another person in public commits an offence and liable on conviction to 3 years imprisonment.
“It must be noted that section 134 which deals with offences against morality particularly section 134 (a) have it that indecent act in a public place makes both parties engaging in the act liable to imprisonment for 2 years.
And may be one of you will still try to say that having sex in the public is not immorality. Lol

Mention the law saying having sex in a group is illegal. In Germany you can walk nude at the beach if that satisfies your question. Yes you can gather in mass, it didn't stop people from going to the mosque, holding Eid celebrations or holding political rallies all through the year.

I'm still waiting for the law that says you can arrest people for having sex in Nigeria.
Try it, only then you will realise that are tons of sections in the constitution which can be used to haul your ass into the prison

I don't know why any sane person would want PDP back, ordinary fuel scarcity problem, these unfortunate human beings couldn't address it for 16 years! Sharing of 2.1 billion dollars earmarked for security among themselves.

Racoon post=97544934 :
Although PDP appears to be the lesser evil of all ever seen
but the first definitive step in trying to solve the myriads of problems bedevilling Nigeria is restructuring or total disintegration via a sovereign national assembly or conference.

Alternatively, let a referendum be conducted by its citizens under the watch of the AU, UN or other relevant world bodies though it is know that many of them may not like a Nigeria breakup as it happened in 1966 for them to continue their own exploitation too.

Nigerian does not need any PDP, APC, APGA any more but a definitive correction of the structural, economic, political, and even the geographical imbalance this nation is sitting upon. The regions should determine how they want their government to be(premiers, regional HOA, ministers, Mayors etc)

Then let the regions start the process of nation building @ their own pace employing their regional human and national resources while contributing a certain agreed quota to the centre.
Someone needs to refresh your memory. Did you witness what is in that picture below for 16 years or you were too young at the time to remember?

THIS IS WHAT THE PDP BISHOP SAID IN 2014 WHEN FREE MONEY WAS STILL COMING IN... Hypocrisy!

IT IS TIME WE SPEAK HONESTLY TO OURSELVES - BISHOP KUKAH IN 2014

“Nigerians love to criticize their country perhaps far more than any nation I know of in the world. Yes, we have all earned the right to be cynical and even contemptible about the way we have been governed, and about how the resources of our nation have been frittered away mindlessly.

I am even more amused by the criticisms of some of our brethren in the Diaspora especially those who think that simply being abroad has set them apart from their fellow countrymen and women, those who believe that those of us who are here are so because we are not good enough to be abroad.

...It is about time we took off the gloves and speak honestly to ourselves about our future as a country, our mistakes, our fears, anxieties and deep hope. We are not the worst people on earth nor is our country the worst piece of God’s real estate. We have to seize this narrative and re-define ourselves...

The measure of the greatness of a people or even individuals is based on how or where they stand in moments of trials and tribulations. Nigeria is going through such a phase now. Since the outbreak of the tragedy that is Boko Haram, one has seen another side of our citizens that is quite tragic. Rather than trying to stand together to rise beyond this in hope together, I find some of my fellow citizens creating more confusion and using the insurgency as weapons of politics.

...The President and the security agencies have become the objects of attacks and vilification and yet, there is very little that is being done to point at the way forward. I know that as day follows night, we shall pull out of this tragedy that we face as a nation. But the least we can do is to stand in the comforts of highways and homes that someone else constructed and thrown stones at ourselves and our people simply because we are living off someone else’s sweat.”

The oil sector does not account for the bulk of our GDP.

Crude oil, crude oil crude oil.
See your mouth like crude oil.

It was crude oil that asked Buhari to close border fie a year degrading our supply chains and creating unprecedented inflation since 1999?

It was crude oil that caused Emefiele to misfire with so many back and forth policies that were inimical to our economy?

You are not serious.

Keep blaming crude oil.
[/s]

Go and sleep, you have lost it. Don't you see it even from your response?
You dig up 2014 GDP but we told you 2014 GDP was as a result of Oil price boom, not that something spectacular happened in manufacturing sector

It is you who is the Ignoramus here. Not the chao you were quoting.

The share of oil and gas in 2014 rebasing was about 9%. It should even be lower than that by now.

The rebasing decreased the share of oil in the GDP of the country, so the high GDP after the rebasing could not have been due to "oil boom": it was due to bringing newer sectors like telecommunications to the calculations and also including income ans expenditure in the computations instead of just production

You guys should stop talking about oil prices. It is silly.

This Govt has retrogressed on every economic index. If it is a lie, i dare you to name just one in which there has been an increase. And that sort of performance isnt due to falling oil prices. Absolutely not
Just subtract 40 dollars from 96 dollars, that gives you 56 dollars on each barrel of crude oil. Multiply that by 2 million barrel being produced per day. Then multiply it by minimum of 340 days.
That gives you the difference between what Jonathan and Buhari made from the crude oil in 2014 and 2020. Yet, we're still on top concerning GDP

Lolz.... Ignoramus

What is the link of crude oil price and GDP size?
Do you even know the percentage of Oil and Gas to the GDP of Nigeria?

Shift joor

And plzz, do not ever talk of "Buhari economic policy" except you wanna get your finger really burnt
The real clown and ignoramus here are both of you. Tell me the price of crude oil back then and now. That GDP didn't represent real manufacturing and production, just oil boom. Today, the price of crude oil is nothing to write home about but we're still on top. The question you should have asked yourself is, why? Because Buhari's economic policy restricted excessive importation and tried to make Nigerians look inward and produce as much as they could.
Now, if you are really interested in this, let's dig up the contributions from crude oil for both 2014 and 2020. Then take a look at GDP from other sectors excluding oil for both 2014 and 2020. Only then you will realise that you don't know anything about economy

This has nothing to do with this Govt i.e that we are still the largest economy in Africa.

The current Nigerian GDP size is $422.9billion while it was $510billion in 2014.
That is actually a decrease of almost $90billion under Buhari.

The only reason we are still the biggest is cos other close African countries no try.

So stop praising Buhari. It makes you look very ignorant
What was the price of crude oil in 2014 and now? The fact that we're still on top amidst plummeted oil price means that Buhari economic policy had a positive impact on our GDP.
