You would only be lucky if you use a washing machine (my personal experience) That's exactly why I asked the question because people had been washing naira notes (not polymers) with water and soap for years and they don't get damaged beyond being recognisable. An ex who ditched her to marry another girl suddenly resurfaced after his wife died and you are saying OP shouldn't feel insecure when his girl seems to be falling into the trap little by little? The question is: why did the guy resurface again? Because his wife died and remembered one ex of his somewhere. Why the girl is bringing his matter up and chatting with him? Because she still has feelings for him. Simple |

King44: you are partially right February is when small harvest starts but January and February is when you get it at the cheapest rate... In January (mind you like you said they sell old stock in Jan but as long is the oil is in good condition no wahala) down to Feb you can get it for 5k per keg in villages that are not motorable but in villages that is motorable 6,500, in march 7k so if you want to buy o January and Feb but sell April and partially May that is if something happens and it Jacks up to 11k per keg but drops quickly. I'm wondering if you actually knew the price in January this year, April this year and the average price between September and now? |

ezenwajosh: Reason for that is because prices changes from time to time....and someone will refer to that price you made public in the comment section or in a post in the past and call you a scam for giving them another pric e...and you can't go deleting or editing every reply you made with the newest price it will look like a criminal act because at some point you won't be able to edite all of them and it's tiring...
So to save your self and the buyer explanations that might lead to insults...you left the enquirers Prices in their inbox
Then some sellers say inbox me so they will know you're a serious buyer but I think the seller is lazy on this part because serious buyer or not he didn't need to inbox you....its your responsibility to tell him the price yourself in the inbox provided he made an enquiry to know more That's lame, everyones knows that prices change in Nigeria almost every day. Don't everyone patronise physical market to know that? Whether you put up price or not, the price might still be different from what the referrer already told them before they contact you |

My favorite Isiewu joint . I lost all my love and appetite for Isiewu and Nkwobi the day I saw the Woman using her bare hands to remove insects/lice from her Bingo , she didn't wash her hands when she was through, just wiped it on her clothes and turned to ask me how many I wanted. . Told her to wait let me ask my "Oga" and ran away .
Amala woman used hand to remove meat from my plate because I told her i don't eat beef ,I had to force the rest of the food down my throat...That was the last!!! Some many instances!.Especially food vendors should keep their environments and self as neat as possible.
Any rude customer service,:It's either I follow up the madness or I just walk away depending on my mood and that will be the last. Only if we know how dirty and unhygienic many food sellers could be, how they don't care what they use their hand to touch or grab and not bother to wash it, we wouldn't want to buy prepared food from them at all. |

anslem04: I will just pretend its an interesting thread and ignore the foodie OP, moving on; I have loyalty to SMEs which is why i love patronizing small business around me. Their is a guy that sell home appliances not to far from my area, bought iron, ceiling & standing fan from him, i patronizing him often, @ some point he started saying becos its you my friend pay so so amount, for my mind he gave me discount. one day I saw a nice wall bracket, he gave me price so i told him i will come back later unfortunately for him my instinct compelled me to price it in another shop, the price i got for the same product shock me, other things i bought i price them again and the price still shock me ...i had to boycott oga arinze & sons ventures. Same as where i fill my gas @ the road side, what sells for like #270 per kg was sold to me @ #400 per kg, one day i decided to try a filling station, got the reciept n i was just laughing. from that day i stop having loyalty to any business. He sees me often buh he dare not ask why no longer patronize him. It's not new. Once they know that you wouldn't go another place to price items as a loyal customer, they would automatically start ripping you off unless such items have price tag. I stopped patronising the woman who always sold provisions to me when I realised that she was inflating price for me as a loyal customer. Now, she doesn't look my way again anytime I pass in front of her shop, like we didn't know each other. So much for the years of loyalty. Lol |

A305: If you not readily available to monitor/inspect your car often, NEVER make the mistake of coughing out millions or thousands of naira to buy a car for ehailing/ride sharing/Uber purpose.
I'm particular about RENTAL not HIRE PURCHASE. DicklyD: Your reasons please A305: It often ends in regret. And you will not break even not to talk of making profit.
The car gets abused, maintenance and parts replacement are expensive, Drivers are never truthful or trustworthy. Mechanic will ruin the car even more with their trial and error style of professionalism.
The business is predatory and parasitic in nature, And this starts from the Ehailing app company to the drivers down to the riders. You are absolutely right. Vehicles are very expensive to maintain these days. You need to have time to monitor your assets and drivers because there's no way there won't be bad or reckless drivers among your drivers. If you notice that your car is being misused or the driver lies a lot, you will be able to change him. And don't put your assets in the care of another person. I did that this year and I regretted it. Just three days ago, one of my drivers damaged a vehicle part that would cost me 15k for replacement and 5k for possible repair. I gave him options to either repair it or stop working for/with me. He took the first option. That's how to stay in business for long. Another one wasted my engine oil within 24 hours of servicing the vehicle that cost me 5k. He's to repay me 2500 out of the new replacement, yes. Another one got my vehicle impounded for 6 days through his friend. One way or another, I'm getting 3 days deliver back from him and he knows that. Transport business is about monitoring and supervision |

Forex daily money with minimum/high risk ROI 7k max daily with minimum risk management.
Oil four months at most ROI is certain little or no risk but shey man won't spend before ROI matures ni.
Which one should I go for, I need some advice. The same reason I didn't invest in real estate, man needs to spend money everyday. So the need to invest in business that brings in money regularly. I don't know anything about forex because I have never liked it. But you can divide your capital into two, one part for oil and the other part for another business. Just remember that this is not the best time for oil, that should be April to early June when you can get the cheapest price. |

abragr8: Not investing in Real Estates enough. This year, 2020, I invested just N1m in one real estate. And in 5 months, the property was worth N4m. I would have invested far more. The investment is simple. We pull money together and buy swampy lands that is in the middle of developed areas. Then sandfill it, develop and resell or rent out. REAL investment is what you can see and touch unlike all those unseen untouchable investments
*MODIFIED FOR THOSE ASKING ME TO EXPLAIN HOW WE DID IT. We usually get atleast 10 persons. Then we all contribute a minimum of N1m. And we do the project. And the sharing is based on what each person contributed. It's simple as ABC. If everyone contributes 1m that means each person's share of the real estate is 10%. The last one we did most people brought more than 1m. Some especially the women brought 3m, 5m etc.. So we sold what we built in 5 months and the profits were high. Real estate far better than most investments. This year 2021 I must invest more. Looks like you're trying to entice people here. Sounds more like a scam in the making. |
