I'm getting this error code, P0128 coolant thermostat.

What can I do?

All these figures and accolades are verifiable facts and statistical data compiled over the years from across the globe. Honda is also very reliable and always on Toyota's tail but some little issues with previous models in the past put them behind. If these cars weren't so good their sales figure will show it .

Toyota ranks 11th in Forbes most valuable companies in the world, the next auto brand is Mercedes Benz at number 23.

honda flop with design from 2008 to 2014. That where Toyota got more market especially the Camry and accord.

I bought it 13k mobil filling station. 5L
I observed the difference there myself.

The difference was too much. That one was thick and this one is light. I’m just a bit scared shall. If this one will not leak.

Waiting for my mechanic to do the change.

The reason I did the change was because the car use alot of fuel. I want to check if it would be better and improved fuel economy. If there are problems I might go back to what he was using.

The car was just bought and the previous owner (the first owner) used Mobil XHP 1000. I cannot say much about the performance for now but i was hoping that using Mobil Super 2000 5W30 will improve performance of the engine and still keep i running for a long time.

The car will be used for e-hailing.

did you use mobil super 2000 5w30? Was there an improvement I'm in the same situation.

the former owner of my car was using mobil XHp 20w50 for 2 years. the mileages is 165k as its showing there.

the recommened oil from the manual is 5w 20.

should i use 5w 30 or continue with mobil XHp 20w50?

I have searched Mobil super online and what showing is that mobil XHp 20w50. Is this correct?

the previous owner use this car for 2 years. when i ask him of the oil he was using he said mobil Super. I ask me how much he said the last time he bought it was 11k.

And since I bought it I have been using it like that my mechanic check the oil there was no sluge and he said the oil is still ok I can use it for another one month even though the car is showing service -55. the car is now showing service -244.

I want to change the oil this week to be on the safe side. What do you think? Should I continue with the mobil super?

If you crank your car twice or more than,before it starts then the plugs are bad. Check if the plugs are the same spec for engine. If not na misfire upon misfire . Also real plugs for v6 costs 60k upwards, fake China clones will cost u 10k

A v6 on a city driving which consists of drive,brake,traffic,stop,off engine ,go out,come back after 30mins or an hour. Start engin3,drive,stop,brake,go ,brake,drive,brake. U can never reach your factory mpg. Like I said used original plugs like 15 to 20k,original gan gan brand new 45k upwards. All toks plugs are fake/copys/clones. If u need original plug from France or USA,visit amazon or aliexpress. U will see the price of 1plug will almost be 10k or less,just 1 plug oh. Cabin filter and air filter have no effect,its not like leaves or nylon bags were blocking the air passage. Buy original plugs from abroad and rest. U have wasted a lot of money and mechanic dey use u chop.

not expecting the manufacture mpg on foreign and Nigeria used car. As far as the car is now new. You can’t get to the actual mpg as stated.

But i have always divided it in two. For the car to he fuel efficient it show pass the half make of mpg not below.

The toks plugs u bought too were removed from an engine. Original 6 plugs costs aout 25$, fake from 8k up2ards. If you dont use the right plugs mqde for your car,it will consumefuel. Go online and read the type of plugs gan gan for your car. Catalyst has lil impact on fuel consumption. Other factorsauxh as hard accelerations, hard brakes,AC on,faulty injector mouth,clogged nozzles,etc

the mechanic said 9k for the 6 plug. when he removed the plugs. there was black sooth on the plugs. used plug he said 4k for the 6.

from indication the plug they remove from my car were new plugs. just that the black dried sooth are at the plug.

shouldnt i have wash and cleaned it instead of buying used plugs? because those 6 he removed from my own he might wash them and sell as used plug too.

They were neat and new.

Also the air filter has dust and he give it to vulcanizer to blow them out with pump.

i already cleared the check engine code with scanner. just hope it doesnt come again and the fuel improve.

It stated one year oil change whereas some people claim 6 months. After you reset the oil service. If the oil service doesn't show. Kindly change after one year.

high. I think my accord consume fuel too. The seller told me the catalyst is still intact but I haven't inspect it. I have used more than 65 litres for 170miles with AC. It's V6 honda.

Yesterday I cleaned the air filter, from scan it shows cylinder misfiring. I changed all 6 plug to Belgium plug.

The engine light appears again today.

Tomorrow i shall look into it.

I bought a scanner but I couldn't used it. There was cover that cover the ODB2 port and I couldn't open it. So I just first leave it like that. I ask my mechanic of the engine light that is constantly showing he said that's how it should be. If the engine doesn't show the car will not move. He said if the engine light is blinking that when there is problem.

I have been using the car like that but the way its consuming fuel. I had to vex and find way to remove the cover.

I scanned the car and found a problem.

Cylinder 1, 3 & 4 misfire.

I showed it to my mechanic and told him that I did research that the engine light is not surpose to show constant.

He said on Tuesday we will fix it. He said it's likely the Plug or nosole. How do I know it's the plug. Can fuel pump cause it? Also what could make 3 cylinders to misfire?

I use a V6 and 3 cylinder from it is misfiring. Is this enough reason to consume fuel? If I fix it will there be much improvement?

Toyota is reliable. 
We have too many Toyotas on the road. 
It's like 100 Toyotas to two other brands on the road.The taste for Toyota is just too much.
You can get other brands if you want to look different. 


Despite the huge number of Toyotas on the road, you barely see them breakdown on the road. 
If it's a bad brand, we should see them breakdown regularly on our roads. 

As for the smoking engine, age and abuse could be factors.
I would have considered Honda, but the regular leg pull is a major issue with their sedan.I am not ready to be a sound engineer yet.

Honda's resale value is also terrible; it's a bad investment. 

I have been using my Toyota for several years now, and I still enjoy it. 
engine is very silent.
Every time I feel like upgrading, I always ask myself if I will ever get something as reliable as this.

I remember some time ago when I helped my neighbor sell a smoking Toyota with much rust.
The way people rush the car is unbelievable. One even offered to pay more just to buy it from the other guy. I doubt if this will be possible with another brand.

it's the high and bagwons we are talking about. It's good that for for honda lovers to that the price doesn't go up like Toyota.

Look at for Instance our Naira during the cashless economy people withdrawing 10k with 4k. It's because of demand that why anyone will reach a rusty car.

Like here is the east. People who don't know anything about car will tell you buy toyota. Or when you buy honda they will tell you why you didn't buy toyota. This are people who don't even know where the brake or acceleration is in a car. Just because of people are using it. It crate an atmosphere that other brands are not good. Even when you are riding Benz they will tell you Toyota is better.

Almost of the cars that smoke on the road are Toyota from almighty Corolla to Camry and the rest. Metrix, puntic Vibe to Highlander. I'm yet to see honda smoking.

My approach to mechanic workshop all the cars there are Toyota from gearbox problem to engine failure. From ringing to change of engine.

The bag wagon of toyata make them feel pride and think Honda is shit.

I went to market yesterday they said 30k last with FOB and 15k without the FOB.

I was like why. They say it's uses sensor.

If it uses sensors how come it worked when the FOB battery dead? As at the time the battery dead complete I used it like that before I changed the battery.

So I need to clear this.

Yes there are a total of 6.

3 for the engine and 3 for the gearbox.

the problem is my mechanic want me to change all. It's costly. He was not even talking of the gearbox mout but the engine mount which is 3.

Is it possible for him to check the bad one from a V6 engine where everywhere is full.

I bought mine in Benin Uselu Abu nah uwelu part market but I have since left benin now in another state.

I used an 06 for 7years and didn't have on ball joint pull, what I do is to have it checked when I hear any sound coming from the front legs, I always buy tokunbo not new shafts anytime I need them replaced.

Your vehicle is V6 different from i4 I would say talk with hondajosh if you need new parts he is tested and trusted and will waybill from lagos, if nah tokunbo ask gazzuzz if he can help.

As at when you change your bolt joints did it last for more or less than a year.

I am not formalier with the sound so to just avoid it is to make a accurate circulation as to maintainance for leg change routine same as oil change.

Also abeg is it advisable to change all the mout or just find the bad one? There is a part seller in jiji I called he said I should find the bad one and change that one. Also since the tokunbo is better I would have like the fact you bought it that price if I can get it for that price.

That is the exact price for tokunbo, though the bigger the more expensive. Brand new is 12 to 15k. Go for tokunbo if you don't trust your mechanic, let him loosen the seat and you enter market yourself but I bought tokunbo engine seat december 7k each one front one back for K24A honda engine

i told him to check the bad one. he said i should all. back and front new one.

i dont just want a back and font. i wanted to order online from jiji but it seems they are new. please can you help me buy tonkubo from where you bought yours? please you can waybill them for me.

when i tried reverse today the front tyre climbs the road pavement it was a big bang. Since then the sound worst oh now. Also the guy I bought the car from said I should change the bolts joint yearly as maintainance that I will never experienced bolt joints problem.

But my mechanic said 1 year is too much as preventive measures. Is 1year bolt joints maintainance too far?

Yes that’s the correct prices for new front and rear engine mounts. It’s the side and gearbox mounts that are cheaper because they are smaller.

how many in total. Because when I check jiji I saw ads for 6.

Mind you my car is V6.
