RomanceRe: When You And Your Ex Are Still In Love With Each Other by avuekwe(f): 8:23am On Aug 29, 2014
coolsegun2002: Ladies usually fall into this shiit more than guys...they are in love with a guy,, usually their university boyfriend...but out of impatience nd seeing marriage proposal from the working class guy as a job opportunity they don't wanna miss...they get married leaving their heart desire...nd GBAM!!!!! they realise it's forever....yrs go bye nd all they do is endure rather dan enjoy their marriage...
another example is when you date ur university boyfriend and u guys go through thick and thin for years after graduation . When he becomes comfortable, he sees a small chick and leaves u for her abandoning you when you guys are at the finishing line. For me, it's better to remain single cos u can't forget all the years of happy memories in a twinkle of an eye. U may never find happiness with another so to spare an innocent bobo misery when he comes into ur life later, just kuku stay on your own jeje. This love matter aint easy at all. I never prayed for this, but it happened.
ComputersRe: Is My Choice Of A Laptop A Good One?(i Am A Novice) by avuekwe(op): 7:40am On Aug 29, 2014
Bawss1: The Asus T100 and T300 are not exactly the same devices, yes they are both hybrid computers but the T100 has a screen size of 10.1" while the T300 has a 13.3 " screen. From the several reviews I have seen online they are "ok" budget computers, they will serve fairly well if all you want to do is browse the web, email and watch videos, basically simple stuff that won't require considerable processing power. It runs on an Intel Atom processor which is just fine for simple stuff and not heavy lifting like Photoshop, CAD, 3D modelling and the likes. The T100 seems to have been well received especially because of its pricing and its battery life. It has a 64GB memory and 2GB RAM.
Not a bad buy for the casual computer user and you would be hard pressed to find a Windows 8 hybrid that is cheaper than its ~ N58000 ($350) price tag.

There are several other hybrids and 2-in-1s out there though with stronger processors, more storage space like the Dell 11 3000, the Lenovo Thinkpad 10. Thing is they cost more and you may have to wait for sometime to have it shipped to you as they are available overseas.
Thank you so much for the indepth review. I am more able to make an informed choice. I think I would go for Dell product cos I'm planning to start lessons on Corel draw and the rest. I'd probably ask to see if they can get it over there and send back to me.
ComputersRe: Is My Choice Of A Laptop A Good One?(i Am A Novice) by avuekwe(op): 7:36am On Aug 29, 2014
Bawss1: The Dell 11 3000 is a 2-in-1 computer. You can fold the screen way back and use like a tablet. Same thing with the Lenovo Yoga 11s but they might not be as light as a tablet as they weigh slightly more.
THanks Bawss1. I would compare both products and make a final pick. I hope it cost less than 100k cheesy

ComputersRe: Is My Choice Of A Laptop A Good One?(i Am A Novice) by avuekwe(op): 9:10pm On Aug 28, 2014
emmyvet: All most all laptop can do the above task.
You just have to choose a strong laptop with good battery. For me go for dell!
But my main attraction to the Asus Transformer is that I can detach it and carry it like a Tablet. Can Dell product do the same cos I would like to get Dell if same is achievable?

Hello all nairalanders who frequent this section. This is my first time of posting a Topic and visiting this section of Nairaland. Please, I need your help in making a choice as to which Laptop to request for as a gift. I have a week to make my choice. I have been considering the ASUS Transformer T100 or T300( hope I got the models right). I like it cos it can serve as a tablet and a laptop. My allocated budget is 100k. What do you guys think about my choice?Kindly suggest other good products and state reasons for your preference. Your input on this thread is welcomed.

My dear ephee, we are in the same situation. I wish there is a portion one could take to become firm in mind and at heart. It really hurts to the bone marrow. What do men really want? One just woke up and said after 6 years of relationship and engagement that he is emotionally unstable yet he has been cheating all this while. May God deliver all the good and wonderful girls in the world from evil time wasting men.

tyson99: So you want to carry heartbreak till December period ehn huh Don't be surprised if u hear say the guy wan marry next month, madam move on you will surely see someone better than him and he will come back begging when it's late,be strong
Thanks dear, I followed your advice and I have moved on. Broke up with him for good. He can continue with his latest catch, found out he has bin sending her money since the babe is still in year 2. Good riddance to a time wasting lily livered man who can't be a man even if his life depended on it. It has bin rough but I am replacing the love with hatred, then gradually I will no longer care anymore about him.

I am waiting, infact we are all waiting for part three. Audrey why nah, i wanted her to have a second chance at loving someone else. You do know that 90 percent of this story doesn't happen to anyone in real life. Beginning to look more like all this Mexican soap opera, when you are mine, etc.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Lagos State Verbatim Reporting Recruitment Hopefuls 2014 by avuekwe(f): 6:21am On Aug 22, 2014
brainzdh: I was the 2nd to the last person, it was more like a discussion session. I wasn't even asked anytin abt what Court reporting is nor even the duties. Though they'll test ur typing skills, you don't have to be a wizard; once you can make use of your two hands while typing, u're good. This is my 'Two Cents' for now, my fone is blinking low battery.
They started by asking me my state of origin. The Hausa man then began to praise Fashola for giving an Abia state Indigene like me the opportunity to be here. He went ahead condemning Abia state, that they weren't like Lagos state. And for thatN I should be very grateful to them cos I shouldn't have been there in the first place. I no fit shout, I just shook my head.

samoks: I received an sms and email yesterday 14-08-14 inviting me to come for an interview at the same centre on Thursday 21-08-14.

Any tips for the interview will be appreciated.
They asked us to read up on court reporting, their duties etc. Then you can also practice common interview questions. A lot of them abound on nairaland.
