I'm very hairy on my legs but have few strands of hair on my jaw. I think it's hereditary cos my dad is very hairy. Its not abnormal.
Just like me. I got few strands on my jaw. Noticed them in year 1 and foolishly used shaving stick on them. Now I know better. They are still there but the strands of hair became thicker and grew faster. So I resort to plucking with my hands. I also noticed that mine could be hormone related cos it gets worse when I dropped to 50kg and when I take lots of sugar. I think I'll go for a PCOS test.

Babe, I truly understand you. It's just that women pretend a lot. So many didn't marry for love but for lust. I definitely wouldn't marry for love; if the guy has up to 60 percent of the abilities I need in a mate, then we walk down the aisle. Love isn't in the big scheme of things . Don't feel bad, many are with u but it's difficult for them to admit the truth to themselves.

RomanceRe: How Did You Feel After A Breakup by avuekwe(f): 4:55pm On Nov 06, 2014
I almost died, tried committing suicide. My worst fear came true. It's over 2 months now and surprisingly, I am truly happy that it ended now cos I was a slave in the relationship. Though I get depressed and have to deal with low self esteem once in awhile, I'm on the path to recovery and nothing will make me take the shit I took for 6 years. I am a Survivor.

No one has mentioned mine from the beginning of this thread to this point, and he is Jonah. My life is just like his, refusing to heed Jehovah's instruction but His loving kindness with me made me return to Him to do the right thing and I'm forever grateful for a second chance. Preaching the good news of Gods kingdom is my sole aim from now on.

priscaoge:
Lol, Yes that's the question! Maybe he is dead Or something. Like I said earlier, I blame their Mum more. Tell me her reason for abandoning her kids for So long. Let's say d man is dead, what about their mother? Is She that heartless? Why do we have The Child Activists and Welfare? If the man couldn't grant her possession of those kids,She should have fought for it Or even try to visit and see them. Much dear this matter tire me. 8yearsis damn ten much!
well, since you are the human rights activist for the man, let me ask you the following questions :
1) do you know the history of this family prior to this story?
2) do you know if the man used the wife for ritual and the woman had to flee for her life?
3) what of the man used a strange guise to kidnap the kids and send them to boarding school without their mother's knowledge?
4) do you know if their mother is still alive cos those children cant even remember their mum?

so if you can honestly and truthfully answer these questions, please desist from insulting the woman as you do not have the whole facts. Concentrate on the fact u have provided, which is , that the man abandoned his three kids in a boarding school for 8 solid years. What manner of animal is that?

Why not?

Isn't this the point where you ought to ask yourself what you've probably been doing wrong to make her stray into another man's arms?

~ Perhaps you've let yourself "go" over the years? You're no longer the sexy guy with tight bùttöcks and rippling six-pack she married, but instead a lazy couch potatoe sporting a beer belly and man bööbs?

~ Or maybe, you don't pray and dry-fast hard enough for her?

~ If she's a working woman, does she come home after a hard day's graft at the office to an untidy home? Whilst you flip through your favourite sports channels whilst yelling at her to bring you freshly pounded yam and Egusi soup?

~ Do you undermine her efforts and take her for granted?
sister, you just mentioned it all. Men take us for granted a lot of times. They think they don't have to work hard to keep us attracted to them.
FamilyRe: Do Women Really Forgive And Forget by avuekwe(f): 5:14pm On Oct 12, 2014
It is not un all cases you can forgive and forget. It is worst when a cheating partner is not remorseful, makes excuses or even blames you for his cheating ways. How can you possibly forgive and forget? I cant forgive o, cos once a cheater , always a repeater.
CelebritiesRe: Ini Edo's Ex-Husband's Wife Warned Her Not To Marry Him by avuekwe(f): 10:25am On Oct 09, 2014
I will laugh best one day and be vindicated. A cheater will always be a repeater, married or not. When that itch in between their legs start itching them, we will see the result in divorce.
FamilyRe: 6 Type Of Mother-in-law by avuekwe(f): 9:06am On Oct 08, 2014
The type who wants to control absolutely everything her sons does. Who they marry, where they build their houses? She keeps demanding for money all the time , always running all her business venture to the ground, the only thing that makes her happy is money and. Expensive clothes. She would rather have her sons remain single than allow another woman into their lives. Fear that MIL. She can even poison her son just so she can control him absolutely.
Car TalkRe: Have You Taught A Spouse To Drive? by avuekwe(f): 1:31pm On Oct 07, 2014

My mom learnt how to drive before I was born. She doesn't drive often but when she does drive, i dey fear. She can't relax even when you are driving her, always complaining. Watch out for that! A keke is comimg out of that street! Take it easy! Hope you are seeing those children by the road! Ah ah! Complaint too much
I was the same with my ex. I would point out all the road hazards.I hate seating in front of the car and he would scream at me to shut up. That would make me cry cos I was just showing concern in my own way. At a time, I started sitting at the back or would prefer to take public transport.
FamilyRe: Will/Can A Feminist Make A Good And Wife Material? by avuekwe(f): 9:42am On Oct 07, 2014
vivalableue:
Sir,

The problem I see in your response is highlighted. You give the west way too much credit as well. In many western countries, women still fight to get things like equal salary, etc. The crux that I love about feminism is that the definition itself includes the uplifting of both genders, equally. That means that you as a man, are also encouraged to break boundaries and social norms when it comes to being a man. It means that you have the chance to experience things that were previously forbidden to you as man. For example, shedding tears (if you didn't need to cry then why were you created with tear ducts?).

Now the problem, as I highlighted earlier is this, you are equating womanhood with marriage. Now, I do understand that marriage is an important right of passage in the life of adults, both male and female. In fact, as a half Punjabi woman, I do understand the strong pulls of my society to be married in order to enjoy the status of full womanhood. However, I choose to renounce that on the grounds that marriage doesn't make me less of who I already am. Maybe in the past, things were different. But, right now, I am responsible for myself, the taxes I pay, the children I bore, bills, everything is my responsibility. If I were to be married, the situation wouldn't change except for the fact that my husband is responsible for me, and I will be responsible for him as well.

Your original question is that in my mind, I envision that a feminist would naturally make a better wife. Why? Because she is interested in the equal voice of both partners be heard in the marriage. The man can have the opportunity to be himself and be cherished for it, and the wife will have the same chance. No one would relegate each other for certain trad. roles either. For example, the father of my children is a chef. He preferred to cook every meal we had. I personally, didn't mind, because he was a slob and I tackled the cleaning of the house. Did I make him feel like a "woman" for doing this thing he preferred? No way! Besides, once a week, I treated him to a meal as well, and he tackled the house work when I was at work too. My kids don't think that daddy is a weak fellow, in fact, he's as a strongwilled as they come. He just enjoyed the fact that I allowed him to be himself, with no judgement. I personally, love to build things with my hands (carpentry) and I work in IT. I own the power drill in the house. And it suits us just fine, and our culture is still preserved because we observe the traditional holidays, family events etc. We sometimes put our own spin on things, but at the end of the day, the level of stress is very minimal.
Hey sister, can I give u a big hug? I'm so much in love with your write up. You just gave me the extra boost to continue to be myself.

[quote author=true45 post=26620038]Am definitely in support of equal right, I hope to improve it more in the country.
As a feminist I believe you to be a matured mind that knows what you want and fight for it, so also should be matured to know the role you play as a wife so in my opinion "Yes" they most definitely can be wife material. "some may want to claim" just make to remind her you still the one with the missing rib
