When you say government, it means Buhari ordered the release of this counter accusation on the Minister. I see no motive for a whole President to engage in mudslinging.

The person who has a motive is the NNPC GMD and his cronies. They are more likely to have a grievance to want to tarnish the image of their tormentor.

the fact that we are hearing and seeing these things even shows that there is a little bit of transparency in this govt which was even better than then previous administration where nothing at all was heard. I am against corruption, but on the case of Diezani, I am on her side. She is being victimised because she is a southerner. I came to Rivers state before the creation of Bayelsa in 1987 . I was at Onne. During this period about 90% of Ogoni land & 95% the present area called bayelsa have no light. Explorations were going on . Subsequent years have some nigerians making money from these oil.

The people cannot talk. Those who are making the money are not the indigenes. The money made by diezani is not up to what those with oil wells have been making & are still making. The oil deal GEJ gave to Dan Etete about the Malabu oil deal is just to use the few years to give opportunities to these people to make money from resources on their ground.
