GreatResearcher:Very very expensive. Most women sees the man attached to them as ATM, ( Some married women included). Money for hand, back for ground. |
biomustry:Sell Rakitic or Dembele.and buy that B. Silva. He can play any of the two positions effectively, he likes having the ball, dribbles and scores. |
Barca now have 2 aggressive attack minded players in Vidal and Braithwaite. The later can't play against Napoli but will trouble Madrid defense come weekend. |
ddippset:Let's hope he won't turn out to be another Boateng signing. |
LaMujer:Gat ya point,.my man. |
LaMujer:Bros, Abeg no vex for me naaaa, no be me do.us this thing o. Moreover, if you check that suggestion again, you will find out I gave the condition "if available". Remember we are in the same boat here. |
Neimar:Bros, I have the same fears as you do. But if you look back at our performers in the team even when we are seemingly strong, it has always been Messi at the top and center of it all, especially in goal creation and scoring. So my prayer is that Messi performs his magic as he always does and most importantly 'STAY FIT'. Because any injury to him in this incoming rough patch will be catastrophic. We need him now more than we've ever done. |
cumz:You've got a valid point there. We need to re-modify our expectations downwards a little. |
peterd53:For me, I'll choose Kevin Gameiro or Carlos Bacca if any of the two is available. Those two are seasoned strikers that can deliver. |
ddippset:The board has created a very difficult stage for this new coach to manage. He already has a valid excuse if he fails at the end of the half season. |
ddippset:Nice one bro. I like that setup too, but is Roberto fast enough to outwit a defender on his own to lay the final pass? Most times he does that is because Messi magnets defenders from that right wing towards the middle, leaving him enough space to run into as a rb. But there's no wrong in trying. |
IKON360:Na only God know who do us this thing o. |
IKON360:My guy, the tactic is called "Use what you have to get what you want". Maybe you don't know yet but there is no backups to our front line at the moment. Apart from Ansu, Grizzy, Messi and injury prone Dembele, there is no other striker. And with the remaining part of the season overloaded with fixtures, what happens if 2 of the 4 above becomes injured or out of form. Moreover, if you look at the present team the only other player other than Messi, with motivation, zeal and hunger for goals is Vidal. Reason I said try him. after all we've seen a striker deputising as a goalkeeper in cases of red card and perform excellently. |
FirstbornWds:. I'm with you on the Vidal thingy, he's sharp, aggressive and very hungry for goals. I think the coach should try him out in the striking position in some games. We can also bring a striker from Barcelona B. Without deceiving ourselves, we are headed for a very rough and trying time in the season. |
haymekus:I'm very afraid and anxious of any Messi injury anytime from now. It will be disastrous. |
biomustry:Exactly my point. Is Willian a striker? Or is it Messi dey are trying to replace at the wings? |
hulk616:Sorry, I was talking to cules, and they can comprehend what I meant by my remark. Thanks for porknosing anyways. |
Adiwana:Should have gone before Varverde sef? Senseless board chairman that sold Alcacer and Munir to replace them with Boateng. Joked around on signing Jovic till Madrid got him, now looking haphazardly for a top striker with 3 days to go. Why not approach City for Aguero or Juve for Ronaldo too while at it? |
Astark:Should Man. U fans have mouth to talk? With the beating from Burnley tonight? Well they can hate us because Burnley starts with "B" like Barca. ![]() |
Personally, I have always been a proponent of regional government as opposed to this merging of strange bed fellows we call federalism. We all know the reasons and aims of this initiative called Amotekun, it is a very laudable idea but we are yet to know to what extent it operations will be. Neither do we know how it will be coordinated. There are many questions that needs answering and many modalities to put in place. For those of us that were around when the first OPC was started, you will remember it was more of a militia than a protector until sanity started coming into their operations, now its more a shadow of itself because of some overzealousness of its members which made people loose faith in them. Coming back to this Regional Amotekun network, I'm yet to see anybody quote from the constitution (though flawed, yet still our law), an part to support or against this initiative. My opinions and questions are as follows: We operate a federal system of government not.regional (at least that's what my Government teacher taught us in school back then). So we shouldn't be expecting the government to see a regional setup as lawful or legal. If the above is correct, therefore we need to take the Amotekun initiative back to be a state setup in order for it to go in tandem with the existing laws. Each state can name its own whatever it wants but In our hearts we know its a Southwest defense mechanism and we are free to have meeting based on that. My questions are: 1. Let's say the Amotekun works out now because all the south west governors ascribe to it, what happens to the outfit if after another election, a governor say I'm no more interested or if there is a fall out between two states sharing borders, how would that be handled? 2. How would the Amotekun members and their operations be curtailed if they turn on the people of the southwest they were supposed to protect? if they turn mafia? taking laws into their hands? 3. How will they be funded, equipped and paid? Will all these also come from the federal allocations? or Will we the citizens be over taxed again to accommodate that outfit? Remember #30,000 minimum wage saga. I love this idea. but let us know more about this venture before we put out a project that wouldn't last the test of time. Note:: This is my personal opinion, you have a right to yours |
What's your personal take on the debate on the regional defense mechanism proposed by the Southwest governors called Amotekun. Do you support it? Why? Are you against it? Why? |
I fear for the future of this country o. Why are we the youths so hasty to jump on a band wagon without double checking. Astark:Ibiza 1 - 0 Barca @37mins |
It was a joy to see tiki taka again from Barcelona, I've really missed seeing us dominate and play a style that we enjoy every bit of the game. Forget the scoreline, we will get better with each game. Same way, it is also a joy seeing our pioneering fellow cules coming back to the thread after long absences in ghost mode, WALAHI, the thread has not been the same without you guys. Welcome back. Mes que in club. Barca for life !!! |
My own ordeal got me 3 weeks in Awaiting trial section in Ikoyi Maximum Prison before being bailed. I just lost close to a million in a business, was devastated and suicidal. In other to keep me busy my pastor attached me to an elder of the church who just started a Community bank as a cashier. The elder was just spending all deposits for his personal stuffs, after 6 months of no salary and with all others staffs gone for non payment, I also gave my resignation letter to the Manager and left, having no knowledge that the manager also resigned after I left. Two weeks later, The elder showed up at my door with police, accusing me and the manager of stealing all the money. The case went to court and we got remanded, bailed and a year later we were freed when I showed where I documented his spendings in the copy of the banks ledger. He didn't show up at court again since then when he was asked to bring the original ledger to court. He packed away from his residence and didn't show up again till case was dismissed a year later. |
YES!!! I will. 100 times over. She's the best for me. Completes me, compliments me, understand me and above all accepted me for who I am. She's my best friend. |
Ikennablue:I sure hope so too. I don't know much about him before now but for the board to opt for him, they should have a good reason. I actually wanted an unpredictable, daring and eccentric coach in the likes of Simeone, klopp, ten hag etc. let's see how this goes. Hoping for the best. |
Call the Hausa man in your neighbours presence, making sure she hears all the negotiations, ask the Hausa man to bring the rice the next day for you to buy. When he has gone, tell your neighbour you want to buy from her instead of the aboki but at the price the aboki sells, if she refuses, tell her you can't buy at the costly price, that you intentionally discharged the aboki for her sake. Expectedly as a Nigerian, she will be angry and give you go ahead to buy from the Hausa man. I bet you by morning of the next day, she would change her mind and sell to you at a good price. uckyra: |
KingAzubuike:What did you just say? If you haven't given birth before, I will overlook your ignorance, but I pray you never experience what mother of the kid will be going through now o. No talk like this if this kine thing happens around you o. |
chukel:My suspicion is that the lady and the cobbler were really dating. Knowing our girls of today, the cobbler would have been investing money on her and her education. now she's a corper she wants to dump him. If truly she gave him 18k, it would be for him to add a larger chunk and buy Samsung or iPhone. Let the investigation be made without any emotions. Ladies are found of using rape allegations nowadays to punish men they intend to dump. Moreover, if her clothes were soaked in water, which cloth did she wear to the station? or she went naked? |
samson07:Doussie? I don't know that wood, but I'm not ready to start yet anyways. |
ddippset:I would prefer Ansu Griezman Messi or Griezman Messi Perez however on a joking note a Griezman Vidal Messi wouldn't be bad. ![]() |
