FIFA BEST AWARDS 2020. Best Coach. - Jurgen Klopp Best Goalkeeper - Manuel Neuer Best Player - Robert Lewandoski Puskas - Heung Min Son |
GrammarNazi1:Abeg, @Grammar..., wetin make u wicked like dis? You just killed the guy's trolling career in one sweep. Chai ! ![]() |
haymekus:I'm not sure Bartomeu hired him while going through his stats. He must have hired him because he was the only available coach at that time that Barca could afford. |
what is it with this Lenglet. Can the guy go 3 games without causing us a fatal error display, if not bad tackle in the box, its a handball. His only exception is an own goal. Very average. |
haymekus:With this shitty defence; any one of them can beat us silly. I just 8 - 2 see another 8 - 2. What a disappointment. |

And thus Juve tops the group. |
This is very laudable and commendable if it gets to the targeted beneficiaries listed above but we need more. I would rather want the govt. to build the country up by giving out loans with as low as 1% yearly interest to youths with entrepreneurial business ideas than giving out grants that would finish within a month. Let me explain a little. Let's work with N200billion for example. Govt. could create a loan agency or contract a private sector microfinance bank, commissioned to give out loans of not more than 500k to every youths with a promising business idea, with yearly repayment with 1% interest rate. Let's not forget that there must be collateral and surety involved o to keep people on their toes. By that we have 200,000,000,000 / 500k. = 400,000 youth beneficiaries. Divide 400,000 youths into 36 states and you have 11,000+ beneficiaries per state, who will in turn employ more than 3 others as workers and helpers to build the business. I believe our economy and country will develop more human capital faster than just giving out feeding money to people, which will be forgotten in less than a month. My opinion though. |
Em... Em. Abeg we get game today Abi? who know lineup? |
OJay360:Mistake for where? Dem fit do am intentionally self. U no read say dem four na identical - identical? |
tesppidd:Abeg, with all these injuries; what other excuses would be tenable for Clownman not to use Puig, Alena and Braithwaithe in upcoming games? |
If we put aside rivalry, Ramos is a good CB any day, his absence is always felt massively if he he doesn't play. and whenever he plays his team builds on his confidence. For me, I think he would have probably made ballon d'or podium if CR7 and Messi never existed coupled with his rough edge defending. ( my opinion though ). |
Baddestguyp:No wonder all our poke nosy trolls from the bernabeu have all disappeared. What a relief ! ![]() |
joviegghead:I like the optimistic approach you guys are having towards barca. However, it wouldn't end well if we set our eyes on unattainable targets and expectations this season based on what we have on ground. Barca's case was just like the #Endsars Nigerian issue, the message of bringing drastic change has been lost while still in transit. We were all calling for a change to how things were done, Messi led that call for change but instead of getting the message, he was termed ,"Traitor", "Betrayer" and as such the distraction took hold. Of all those changes we all spotted and clamoured for then, how many has been effected? The new coach has done nothing differently from our last two coaches in my opinion. In a nutshell, my point is that we shouldn't be expecting miracles from this present setup, they will try their best but even that might not be enough to give us the UCL, La liga or Copa del rey, but I know they will gel as the season goes on, my prayer is that we don't get pushed out of the top four at the end of the season because teams like Getafe, Atletico etc are not smiling ooo. |
Karleb:Well, looking at this response tells me you are more concerned about the writer's intent than the write-up itself. If that's the way you see it. You have a right to your opinion. Anyway, just like you said: "Messi himself doesn't care." Goodbye. |
Karleb:Thanks bros for the response, though I would have let Tespidd counter the point you raised, however let me reiterate that the write-up was on Messi's stats, and not on comparison between CR7 and Messi. Furthermore, if you look further down the piece, you'll find out that he (Tespidd) brought Messi"s stats against others in Europe, where CR7's before (Man u.), La liga (Madrid) and after (Juve) were considered. I hope you are satisfied with this. |
Karleb:Bros, google is your friend and its free to search it. Kindly pick each of the stats you claimed are padded, search on it on google for the years listed by Tespidd, and post your findings with verifiable sources in order to dispute his figures. Thank you. But if you can't do that simple thing, shut up and get out of our thread. |
Vykinx:Please, what is the reason for selling Dembele at this point? |
Excallibur:Abeg, make Grizzy go loan for Bayern o, let him go and learn same way Coutinho did. |
jpmoriarti:Sorry, are you Tu face Idibia? |
joviegghead:Sorry, but u didn't clarify |
joviegghead:Eric Abidal & Dani Alves |
Barca 1 - 0 Elche. Frizzy |
haymekus:Like shooting penalty out of the stadium? While his youngest Broda dribbled and score from the tightest angle. |
Adiwana:Bros, you need to know something about Bartomeu, he doesn't like bringing back any player that has left Barca to play elsewhere. Case study - Neymar, Tiago Alcantara etc. |
modextus:That word FREE, na hin pain u pass Abi? |
Olamyyde:Apolowetin? Bros, that Bayern loss was not a fluke game o, no be mistake, most of us has been expecting the team to crumble at any moment even before Bayern. Who apology help? The guy is tired.of everything about Barca, the stupid board, the inept coach and shambolic bum teammates that cannot do anything tangible without passing to him. He has often apologized, stressing that they will improve but instead they become more clueless as day goes by? The 8-2 humiliation was not even his fault, will he play as a winger, defender and striker at the same time? Abegiii, put the blame on the right people jor Moreover, Messi wants to sit with the club on his departure , they are the ones dodging him. |
BykeLaByke:Would you? if you are in his shoes. He knows its a trap. |
Sommyroy10:If Messi had left the club in June, what difference would it make, we would still have lost the la liga, we would still have been booted out of the UCL (maybe Napoli), so same same. Why would a sensible board allow a clause that releases its best player to walk out for free at the end of every season in his contract in the first place. Means he could have even walked out on us all this while. Dumbest board ever. |
Messi leaving is very difficult to swallow for me as a fan of the club but I see the sense in his decision. However, the way the board is handling this issue is very very shameful and insulting all round. This guy was and still is a legend of the club, the best player to ever lace his boots for Barca. the Greatest of all Time, who had given the club everything he had. He doesn't deserve this type of treatment walahi!!! Instead of sitting with him like a normal person and sort the issues out, Bartomeu is playing hide and seek games; setting traps here and there, hiding behind a finger. A stupid ingrate. We should celebrate his departure and not ridicule it. |
joviegghead:I'm forced to agree with you. I think he is too quiet or too introverted to lead the team vocally, he only depends on leading by example, but most times that is not enough. |
